I like the voice lines TRAITOR in place of sapper and VAMPIRE for cannibal, to the americans the sapper has changed sides and they don't understand the sapper is dead. and the vampire voice lines are referring to the 1900s vampire scare in new england. I think that the americans have a odd view of the people who are taken by the blight. thank you for reading my ramblings. Some quick edits and new thoughts: A. sappers I think they assume that they *are* dead and have to be killed not out of pity but for the fight (The other countries want to put them out of there miseries) and the vampire line could just be a historical reference. THEY’VE LOST THEIR MINDS line could also say that they think their fallen brothers are just insane! thats the most likely answer.
It could be since their are different social dialogues in different countries and continents. The European’s dialogue sound of religious horror, (of the cannibals are devils of hell), while the Americans think of the cannibals as in superstitious terms (such as vampires)
The TRAITOR! could be referring to how they are now attacking the Americans effectively being traitors to the players, if you are fighting with someone and then they turn and start attacking you you will call them a traitor
And vampire go around and bite people and if you get bit by a vampire you become one so it seems reasonable to think they would see the zombies as some form of vampire
Honestly I love the new and old versions, they both have their charms. Also i typically call the headless soldiers: Cursed soldiers, since well, they seem to be under the effects of the headless horseman's control. Not to mention the fire coming out of the stumps where the head should be is the same color as fire the horseman leaves behind on the bridge to the ferry during the ending to the road to sleepy hollow. Besides *_I_* think the term cursed soldiers fits more to the character, due to what had happened to them and how they are reanimated, and also to differentiate them from the undead.
When the Headless Zombies (the headless undead soldiers's wiki name) rose, I genuinely started panicking. I didn't expect a new enemy out of this update.
