One of my favourites is ‘Jail Break’. Even all these years later, hearing Bon sing ‘He made it out… with a bullet in his BACK’ still gives me chills. ❤️🇦🇺👍
I say this often, but I was so lucky to see them so many times with Bon in the mid 70’s as a teenager In Melbourne Australia. Bon was the most amazing frontman, full of charisma and he worked the crowd beautifully. Our little brains were fried in a great way by feeling the music come up through our feet and they were my first ever rock concert and our ears would ring for two days, it was heaven! He will always be it for me, just love him!! And Angus, the energiser bunny, what a talent!
From Angus' duck walk to the 50's style solo in the middle of the song this is an homage to Chuck Berry and those that came beforehand. Not heavy metal or punk, just pure rock and roll.
Because of following John Farnham on YT for about two years I've also found (been directed to! ) lots of other aussie music that I'm enjoying. This is a great track and great performance. The more reaction channels I subscribe to the more new music I find. Brilliant. Thank you. UK. E❤
We had some brilliant music here when I was a teenager and later! How lucky we were to have this in our lives to go and see live all the time, which I did!!
Bon Scott was their 2nd singer and the one who toured with them from 1974-1980, taking them from Aussie bars to international fame. He replaced their first singer, Dave Evans, someone they never recorded with. Brian Johnson replaced Bon just weeks after his death, releasing BACK IN BLACK their tribute to their fallen brother in arms. It became within the top 5 albums ever sold of all time.

A lifetime of tinnitus was a small price to pay for seeing some of the best rock in the world in that era played by amazing bands and all within 15 minutes from home. Aussie pub rock of the 70s and 80s was incredible.
@@craighawkins3137My ex husband roadied for several bands in the seventies. He’s 69 now and as deaf as a post. 😢 Poor thing. His hearing just never recovered. ❤️🇦🇺👍

Not as many words as some other AC/DC Bon Scott songs, but I think the important thing with Bon is to listen to each word. Hear it. His enunciation is second to none. His voice, his accent. Each word had that Bon Scott sound. I can’t think of anyone else who sang with his whole heart and gut. Five words or two hundred words. Doesn’t matter. No one could imitate his style, before or since. I hope that makes sense. Just my opinion. ❤️👍🇦🇺
The ONE The Only AC/DC..still to this day such an epic live band who despite age have remained EPIC. Back to the early days of Bon Scott up front and both the young Brothers there..sadly with Angus's brother Malcolm Young's (Rhythm Guitar) passing it wont seem the same but I am sure still many more great rock tunes to come out of them. Wow! I've only seen the official video of this song, with Bon Scott dressed as a Minister and calling down the heavens to allow Rock & Roll! This was a completely different version - the Angus Young show for sure! Totally prime ACDC! Their only better show was the live street film of It's a long way to the Top, with Bon Scott playing bagpipes! Loved it, thanks, I wish I'd been there! 💕😍
Looks like young Angus Young was having an epiphany there. I remember the first time my mum saw them on the TV she said he looked like he had ants in his pants lol.
AC/DC ……. They came a long, long, long way from the great little Aussie Pub Band…….. RIP Bon Scott, Malcolm Young ….. and also George Young (the older brother who played with the band in the early years, but managed the band).
I've always said that when it comes to Australian music I was born 15 years too late. I was 5 when Bon died so I sadly never had the pleasure of seeing the great man
The reason there aren’t many words in this song is because here in Australia all the wildlife is out to kill us so screaming is our primary language. We don’t use many words, haha.
It’s very hard for us Aussies of a certain generation to understand how little the rest of the world knows about the evolution of AC/DC. Pure rock and roll. Someone once accused them of making 14 Albums that sounded the same and Malcolm I think, could have been Angus, replied No we haven’t. We’ve made 15 that sound the same. If it ain’t broke?

If you don't like AC⚡️DC, I'm sorry, but you don't have a pulse. Bon is Gold. I think any fan of this band loves both Bon and Brian. Both frontmen are unique in their own way. Bon Scott can never be replicated, but Brian can't be replicated either. Both awsome frontmen for a legendary band in my book. Let there be rock, forever! 🤘

I saw them in 1985 and would have had their Fly on the Wall album around that time as a school teenager but they were not as brilliant as this then. They certainly in their prime in their Bon Scott mid to late 70;s era and also their Back in Black album soon after Bon died. I stopped listening to them after mid 80's because they were past it as far as I was concerned. Songs like Go Zone and Thunderstruck did nothing for me so never purchased any albums after that Fly On Wall album , which was ok album but nothing like their Back in Black album or the ones with Bon Scott still alive. I still chuckle to myself that I said in 1985, I should catch them before they finally retire. Cannot believe they still went on decades after that but if they make money out of it , good luck to them. Them playing as old fellas is not for me. Some bands can still go on into their 40's and 50's and make really good albums but AC/DC should have finished up when I saw them in terms of interesting new music. I wish I had a time machine and saw them in the era of this concert. It is awesome it caught on film.
