Wow what a deal on that hold out. Like 3 times that now. Great set of cold steel folders! Truly hope that GSM doesn't ruin the legacy of Lynn. Between Lynn and Demko they just made knives no one else will probably ever design and make for mass production.
I own an AD15. I love that knife. Buautiful design, solid construction, very high quality materials (G10 scales, steel liner, S35VN blade). A little big/heavy for carrying, but exceptional all purpose working knife. It takes a while to get used to th AD scorpion lock, but once you get used to it, there is no better lock.
Love the collection, I have had several Cold Steel knives going back to the middle 90's. I give CS knives out for presents to people I care about. Love them
Great collection, Bob! I have only a couple of those (minus the Immortal, of course...) Now you need to add the Luzon Large! It's top-notch although often maligned. I love mine! 🗡️🔥👍
Awesome collection. I'm new in the knife world so I'm still leary ALOT. My first 2 a lot 1 year ago were Bastinelli knives. Although I love them I feel like the cold steels I own are just about the same quality for a fraction of the price. "Live and learn" (they were not mistakes) I just wish I had better knowledge of the knife world before putting out that kinda money.... I love seeing these older cold steels I've never seen before. 👍🏻
Anyone chuckling about the XLE ,was obviously raised in a manner that was inconsistent with being mindful and giving common courtesy to all showing respect where it's warranted. That knife is one of many massive knives in my edc rotation. Then again, I'm 3rd generation Texan. Thank you BOB
Great collection! Thanks for sharing. First time I've ever seen or heard of the Immortal. Maybe its an ode to the film Highlander that starred Sean Connery and Christopher Lambert. "There can be only one!" :)
Great collection! Love the video. The Immortal is the first $100+ knife I ever saved up for. Now I'm waiting to see if you have the Colossus 2 as well =)
I just bought my first Cold Steel pocket knife. I bought the Cold Steel American Lawman Lockback pocket knife with A 3.5 inch CPM-S35VN Stainless steel blade and black DLC coating on the blade. And G-10 handle scales And the Tri-ad Lock. from Tractor supply store online. It cost $170.00 Dollars.
The cold steel spartan is a great chopper, you can hold it by wrapping your index finger by the furthest point in the handle the reverse "C" shape. Super comfortable and adds reach to whatever your chopping. I've chopped down small trees and large branches like that without any problems! ! The Raj 2 is similar in design, just larger, well worth including in one's collection if you already own a spartan :)
I received my 1st Cold steel totay. A 4Max. If Tomorrow would be the Apocalypse , and I could only bring one folding knife , it would be this one A beast😃👍🏻💪
3 of my most favourite and killers blades that I have, Black Talon 2(which cut me super deep for just closing the blade),Tiger Claw & Talwar 4inch….all in CTS XHP serrated 11:23
What a great video. I have a fair number of CSs. I think the Rawles Voyager in XHP was the first one that I purchased. I hated that supply issues forced the switch from XHP. Thank you for posting this. Oh I know I don't need one of the crisp(I just love voice to text software.) Kris blades I feel like I do.
Cold steel make the best blades in the business if you ask me . I don't own any cold steel folders, but I have there bushman fixed blade and the kobun tanto. Abused the hell out of both of them multiple times in the wilderness they never let me down
I love the show it takes me a few days since I listen to them while I drive except for this one lol I got the rough Ryder bow river from your recommendation I’d very interested to see me rough Ryder vids (their price for quality is great and I’m on slip joint kick lol) keep up the great work
Love my coldsteel knives ive got some grails in the last week or so a recon1 xl clip point a lnib old school night force not the new type in cf , a kahn .and a minty eapada medium today .also added some aftermarket blue and purple scales to a couple of my regular recon 1 s .🙂 i have the new engage on the way .almost forgot the mighty 4 max elite i got a killer deal on at midway last week .honorable mentions cold steel cousins lol in the past couple months the sweet beyond edc riverwolf serial#3 i got from david sun at bladeshow and the ad.20.5 ( had to have both blade shapes and the serrated version ) slso been really enjoying all the different scale options out there .im wsiting patiently for some Og ti scales i pre ordered .yeah the addiction is real 😁 been missing old nut n fancy videos too .
Hell of a collection Bob; I’ve only 3 or 4 (American Lawman, 4max Scout and 4’ TiLite) You’re reviews and interviews are always interesting and informative
Awesome video. The original XL Voyager brings back memories. I still have mine (With the plastic clip still attached) it was a beast back in the day with a 5" blade. I also could get an absolute razor edge on it. I've added many others since then but it still has a special place for me. I also have the Voyager KRISS, where did you get the "wave" piece for that knife? Very cool.
Spyderco came up with the blade shape of the Black Talon with the Civilian, only it was far more refined. Cold Steel stole it much later and made a much cheaper but still devastating version. I would still choose the Civilian over the Black Talon, unless budget is the primary concern.
Love my 4max scout, I understand why Jimmy slash has so many of them. I think the only CS that might be capable of chopping as good as the scout might be the spartan. Still wishing cold steel would bring back XHP they did a good HT too. Hard to find xhp apart from SOG and the spyderco chaparral. I'm just not a fan of s35vn the toughness level hasn't really worked out well atleast for me.....I much prefer cts- xhp I like the combo of D2 and 420c.
Love that collection, but maybe I missed it, but what about a Talwar. Man I always thought that was oe of the badest knifes, but I never pulled the trigger. Now the price is way out of range for what you get IMO
The handle of the old type is better suited to the shape of the blade Vaquero. And Mexican cowboys have nothing to do with it. This is the shape of the blade of the Tamil (South India) combat knife.
If you think about it what's most mens favorite things other than knives well I can tell you the two up top have pink knob's and are pink and the other is like Australia it's down under and protected by furry and hello it's pink to so I think a pink knife is a tribute to most things a real man loves I love it and would be proud to edc a pink cold steel bad ass knife
No disrespect but Lynn Thompson is not a martial artist. A true martial artist ia someone who takes care of themselves physically. It's no secret that he is heavy. He's just someone who studies the discipline and has a lot of knowledge about cutlery.
Just because someone isn't shredded to the gills or doesn't appear to be in great shape doesn't mean they aren't a martial artist. Look at Roy Nelson, Tank Abbott back in the day, don't judge by looks.
I want an Immortal.
Just got a Ti Lite 6" and I'm in love...
Nice collection.
I really wished that Cold Steel still made them, awesome look!
Wow what a deal on that hold out. Like 3 times that now. Great set of cold steel folders! Truly hope that GSM doesn't ruin the legacy of Lynn. Between Lynn and Demko they just made knives no one else will probably ever design and make for mass production.
*Just getting into Cold Steel Knives.*
*Great Knives!*
*Cool Collection Video.* 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
That is probably the best Cold Steel collection I’ve seen and hope to get get there one day 👍
And I thought I had a lot of cold steel knives ..😳 very nice collection sir! Every knife taken care of and in excellent condition! Impressive indeed!
What an amazing collection of Cold Steel’s! Very nice. I’m waiting on my first Cold Steel to be delivered, hopefully this week.
Sickest collection of Cold Steel I have ever seen. Drool worthy!
Nice collection, like seeing the old stuff
Love the collection, I have had several Cold Steel knives going back to the middle 90's. I give CS knives out for presents to people I care about. Love them
I love jimislash. The dude is not only one of the nicest guys you'll meet but just all around awesome
The Rajah II is the only Cold Steel that I own...so far. I am looking forward to getting the AD-15 , 4-max and the mayhem.
Love your collection man.
Awesome video! I’ve got a lot of those and now really want an Immortal!
I bet you’d love the big Luzon and the Talwar too.
That south African Number was brutal. Thanks for the background on it. I would love to see that around 6". Very cool to see the old next to the new.
Did i miss the ti lite 6? An you got me wanting a laredo now! 😂❤ thanx
Great collection, Bob! I have only a couple of those (minus the Immortal, of course...) Now you need to add the Luzon Large! It's top-notch although often maligned. I love mine! 🗡️🔥👍
Awesome video, love Cold Steel!
Great video! I'm a big Cold Steel fan!
Awesome collection. I'm new in the knife world so I'm still leary ALOT. My first 2 a lot 1 year ago were Bastinelli knives. Thank you BOB
Thanks Bob, now I feel better about my Cold Steel collection of 7 or 8 knives. I thought I was excessive until now. Lol
Great collection! Thanks for sharing. First time I've ever seen or heard of the Immortal. Maybe its an ode to the film Highlander that starred Sean Connery and Christopher Lambert. "There can be only one!" :)
Really great video. Just ordered my second Large Luzon. Gave my first Gen1 to my GF who insisted she had to have it 😂
Cool love your history and you carry well👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesomeness 👏
Love your collection! It's great!
Thank you so much!
That s code nice is sick ! Nice collection.
Great collection! Love the video. The Immortal is the first $100+ knife I ever saved up for. Now I'm waiting to see if you have the Colossus 2 as well =)
Great collection, you are lucky to have it all! ESPECIALLY TANTO RECON1 FOLDER 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻😍
Awesome collection! I love all that XHP!
Awesome collection
I just bought my first Cold Steel pocket knife. I bought the Cold Steel American Lawman Lockback pocket knife with A 3.5 inch CPM-S35VN Stainless steel blade and black DLC coating on the blade. And G-10 handle scales And the Tri-ad Lock. from Tractor supply store online. It cost $170.00 Dollars.
YES!!! Nicely done James. Use it in good health!
@@TheKnifeJunkie thank You BOB. And I will use it in good health.
GREAT VIDEO. MY EDC IS A VOYAGER XL TANTO

Lock on my Spartan is very hard to unlock.

Thank you! Cheers!
Love it brother! 👍😎👍
I received my 1st Cold steel totay. A 4Max. If Tomorrow would be the Apocalypse , and I could only bring one folding knife , it would be this one
A beast😃👍🏻💪
Great collection btw
I turned the lights off..closed the blinds..and watched this video.. I felt guilty afterwards..🤣🤣.. and my Amazon cart got some new entries..😄
I have a bunch of CS knives, that Black Talon II is a wicked self defense blade.
No Sr 1? My fav CS
I know, I know... it's on my list! (the Tanto)
3 of my most favourite and killers blades that I have, Black Talon 2(which cut me super deep for just closing the blade),Tiger Claw & Talwar 4inch….all in CTS XHP serrated 11:23
That black talon is wicked looking
Outstanding collection Bob!! I wish ColdSteel would make ImmortalXL. Killer blades&killer vid knife bro!!
28:37 this reminds me of the falx, so i'm guessing helmet piercer
Great video Bob!
Thank you Will!
Cold steel make the best blades in the business if you ask me . I don't own any cold steel folders, but I have there bushman fixed blade and the kobun tanto. Abused the hell out of both of them multiple times in the wilderness they never let me down
that last knife/sword, you could hold it with two hands and have at it!!!
Yes!! I only have the Finn Wolf which I love but I'm gonna get more!
omg, you have my first grail knife, the pink broken steel
I love the show it takes me a few days since I listen to them while I drive except for this one lol I got the rough Ryder bow river from your recommendation I’d very interested to see me rough Ryder vids (their price for quality is great and I’m on slip joint kick lol) keep up the great work
Seen one good one the ti lite but doubt it was the s35vn version
I have the civilian an the black talon, the black talon is my standard carry an the civilian is now a shelf queen.
I Would wish Cold Steel would make an full size Tom Brown Tracker folder with that Espada Handle.
The tofu story tho 😂
Hell of a collection Bob; I’ve only 3 or 4 (American Lawman, 4max Scout and 4’ TiLite) You’re reviews and interviews are always interesting and informative

Snaggletooth MF, great product
That immortal is awesome haha
I didn't know they made different sizes of "tuff light" what size was this one? Looks like a great SD knife
What, no cold steel triple action tanto? That's my favorite carry
You have all the knives I want and the rest I'll want after I get the ones I want now
How csn you not have a Talwar XL!
Spyderco came up with the blade shape of the Black Talon with the Civilian, only it was far more refined. Cold Steel stole it much later and made a much cheaper but still devastating version. I would still choose the Civilian over the Black Talon, unless budget is the primary concern.
Voyager is large enough to include cold steels fast deployment pocket clip... wonder why they didn't include the feature on their blade..
"I could of been in so much prison carrying this" the thoughts of every cold steel fan lol
is the Immortal Knife discontinued??
I want an immortal so bad one of my favorite knives lost now
Love my 4max scout, I understand why Jimmy slash has so many of them. I think the only CS that might be capable of chopping as good as the scout might be the spartan. I would like a immortal xl
الله أكبر سبحان الله وبحمده سبحان الله العظيم
15:26 thats a positive attitude....hehe
Love that collection, but maybe I missed it, but what about a Talwar. Man I always thought that was oe of the badest knifes, but I never pulled the trigger. Now the price is way out of range for what you get IMO
No American Lawman????
The handle of the old type is better suited to the shape of the blade Vaquero. And Mexican cowboys have nothing to do with it. This is the shape of the blade of the Tamil (South India) combat knife.
Dont use those jewelry cloths on knives!!! I buy and sell jewelry and they ruin blade finishes. Also never clean a watch with a polishing cloth.
Your recon clip point look fake I’m not saying it is but the coding on the blade and not having the screws for the pocket clip on the left side
Fucken great vid mate. 👌
Tofu that can stain steel so I went back to eating meat😂
If you think about it what's most mens favorite things other than knives well I can tell you the two up top have pink knob's and are pink and the other is like Australia it's down under and protected by furry and hello it's pink to so I think a pink knife is a tribute to most things a real man loves I love it and would be proud to edc a pink cold steel bad ass knife
I cut my hand with a Spyderco Civilian opening a bag of cashews, 6yrs later it hasn’t healed properly!
Still waiting for a Cold Steel Saex blade. But since they have become Sold Steel, it may never happen.
Maybe the Frenzy ? Comes close
I went to jail twice with felony charges. Took my cold steels in & out both times. Had to do a little talkin/asking. But.
That’s a short bathroom knife. I prefer a longer one for my poop knife.
Tell me you'll get the Mayhem when it drops! ^_^
I’ll trade you a brand new sr1 tanto in s35vn for that immortal
Cyborg parachute .hydroelectric jumper hydrolck ginsiu.

No disrespect but Lynn Thompson is not a martial artist. A true martial artist ia someone who takes care of themselves physically. It's no secret that he is heavy. He's just someone who studies the discipline and has a lot of knowledge about cutlery.
I hear you, but he moves pretty well, but I hear you.
Grab ahold of him . He's a stump.i saw he killed a water buffaloe with a spear don't let big people fool u some can run like hell fast and strong af
Just because someone isn't shredded to the gills or doesn't appear to be in great shape doesn't mean they aren't a martial artist. Look at Roy Nelson, Tank Abbott back in the day, don't judge by looks.
Ed O’Neill is a black belt in ju jitsu trained by gracy. Dont judge a book by its cover.
