Love love love your channel. You are intuitive, sensitive, highly intelligent, genuine and organic in your reactions. Ive watched GoT many times but look forward to watching it with you again.
What made GOT so great in the early seasons was that it held to a single rule: You say or do something stupid, it's gonna hurt or kill you. Plot armor does not exist in this show (until much later).
That was a great reaction!!! You picked up almost everything, first time watching, and most of the names - well done! Hope you upload the rest to YT, I'll certainly be looking out for them!
@@oliviawilliams6204: That makes zero sense. What 39 episodes would that be? I'd like to hear a reasonable answer to that which accounts for how e.g. season 6 probably was the single best season of all, or at least the second best.

This would def be awesome if these episodes were posted to YT. Hopefully this does well with the hype for season 2 of HOTD coming out. Snax imo has always been one of the best reactors. Eddard Stark will forever be my favorite GOT character.
@SnaxanReactions in the book everything is pretty much the same about the wedding, on purpose to set up Dany's expectation that Drogo will use her like her brother and Illyrio. But the **foundational dramatic turn** is that Drogo, shocking to Dany, is **very** tender and consensual. The whole reason GRRM makes "no" the only Westerosi word Drogo knows, is to have a moment when he asks "No?" (meaning "May I have consent?") and then Dany, after realizing he's enamored with her and wants to take care of her and give her the first choice she's ever had, Dany replies "Yes," and **she** starts to make love to **him**. And then pretty much their relationship is the same. But her breakthrough moment, the beginning of her whole arc, happens when she's gently allowed her own agency by Drogo, who her supposedly civilized brother told her was a savage. It also makes way more sense why she so quickly falls in love with Drogo (even tho in the show it still feels like real love, purely coz the actors are so good.)
@@laffingist218 I mean yes but also no. She's not in love in the books, she's a thirteen year old girl with Stockholm Syndrome (yes I know Stockholm Syndrome doesn't actually exist, it's just a convenient shorthand). A thirteen year old girl cannot be in love with a thirty+ year old man in a way that is healthy and true. Drogo does not r@pe Dany on their wedding night (though Dany consenting basically amounts to the same thing as a child slave "consenting"), but he does every night after that until she learns how to take control. Drogo gives Dany power and agency that she never had before, and that empowers her, but he could easily take that power away from her and the only reason he doesn't is because it amuses him. He treats her more like a cute pet that he likes to indulge than an equal. And she isn't his equal. The only place in Planetos (that is relevant to the main story anyway) that isn't massively patriarchal is Dorne.

Runts can grow as large as their siblings. Only downside to a runt, is that sense of being underfed doesn't leave them. We had a cat who was the runt and she grew up and was well fed from us. When it came time to feed the cats she would whine and cry so loudly we'd feed her first to shut her up. I imagine if she was overfed and was 2x her healthy weight she would still act like she was not going to be fed due to the larger kittens pushing their way forward and leaving her less of their mother's milk. We would sometimes pull the two big gold boys away when they were all kittens, and let her get more of her share, but still that underfed mentality was there and never went away
Also in the books though the other direwolves are actually afraid of Ghost because he grew up to actually be the biggest but also the most fierce despite being the runt.
So looking forward to the videos! Love seeing new reactors! I hope you will continue, i will say sometimes GOT reaction videos don't pick up stream until you've got a decent amount of videos up for binge watching so don't get discouraged too quickly 😁

And, also, she has watched every GoT episode since.
I think the best way to view this series now is a light version of the books. It's been made for a far wider audience. Overall its still a very well made show, just that minor issues at the start (Even with season 1) end up building up to big issues as the seasons go on.

I feel like in some ways, when humans are treated and spoiled with such greatness early on, we can't help but appreciate things the way we did before we got the greatness. So even good becomes terrible. When it comes to shows, if it doesn't end with the greatness being eclipsed by greatness, it's kind of deflating. As for what I think about how this show ends....guess we'll have to see.
@@SnaxanReactions It's fine to like it, but I wouldn't go around telling people that GoT post-S4 is good and it just didn't meet their expectations, because that's simply untrue. I can explain exactly why I think everything from seasons 6-8 fails on a fundamental level. Plotlines are obliterated, others are meandering and go nowhere, actions that should have consequences don't, characters are assassinated, a lot of it is just really boring, there's basically no thematic exploration beyond the extremely basic, there are really basic continuity errors that are just really annoying, but also kind of story-breaking. @@bookswithike3256 hmmm maybe you meant it differently. But something not meeting someone’s expectations can be a fact. And yes it absolutely can be true. GOT being good or a failure after S4 is subjective and an opinion. Popular opinion and a fact are different things 🙂
@@SnaxanReactions I understand that it's subjective, but my point was more that you shouldn't just dismiss people's thoughts on it with "it was good, it just didn't meet your expectations" instead of listening to the criticisms people have. For example, I think my biggest problem with the later seasons is that Jon's death and resurrection is ultimately pointless. It doesn't change anything about his character or the plot, it doesn't try to say anything deeper about how magic in this world works. It's just a thing that happens. Returning from the dead is such a necessarily huge thing in fiction that has to mean something or else it just feels lazy. And GoT as it is wouldn't change if Jon had just been imprisoned at the end of season 5 and freed at the beginning of season 6. Returning from the dead didn't matter.

Sarah you are feeding us well with all this content 😌 watching the Batman series, and the GOT reaction yasss, I still gotta finish the stellar blade vids I got one and a half vids left before I’m done watching that
Ps: the ending of this episode when bran got pushed out the window was my main obsession for finishing this series, i was asking my friend what happens to the lil boy? He said keep watching to find out 💀 and so I did lol
Yesssss finallyyyyyy, get ready to cry 😭
I've watched quite a few reactions to GOT, some good, some not so good. After watching you for the first time, I can tell you're one of the better ones, I look forward to seeing the rest of the episodes with you - subscribed 😊
you watched house of the dragon first before game of thrones, das crazy 😂
subscribing because of your pure beauty
New sub here to take this journey with you. Enjoy the show!
You would not believe how many reactors don't grasp the dialog when Jon Snow says "your mother". I'm expecting good things from you. It's also good to know that you have finished watching it all. That way I can reference future episodes when defending Cersei from unwarranted hate.
I love how complex all the characters are, Cersei is so well written!
this is more fun than house of the dragon evevn if i didn't expect it
You should react to men with pans from America’s got talent! Super funny video!

Aww shit. Looks like I’m going to have to binge watch these at work this week lol do you have a Patreon or is it just RUclips
They are all up on Patreon, I hired an editor to get them up RUclips so they are trickling out here.
Snaxan, GOT was on TV over a ten year period. You were in college that long?
You sure are quick on the uptake with names and geography.
She took this show seriously and took notes of names and locations. I wish everyone did that.
Jamie and Cersei Lannister for life.
Your welcome to this universo got
Did you recognize the actor playing Drogo? Aquaman.
Yes I did lol
The first 5 seasons of GoT are some of the best tv ever produced. Then it just goes down hill.
The first four sure, season five...it's debatable, but still good
Lots of it's based on British history. The seven kingdoms are like the heptarchey...the kingdoms that became England 🏴. Wasps....but pagan for the p part. The wall is an obvious one.
Don’t get too attached with Ned. 😂
"Jaime Lannister looks good"
It is known.
Whoa this is a surprise. 👌
Not sure if someone already told you that, but it's EXTREMELY important for you to have people you trust moderating the comment section before you read the comments. This show is amazing in doing things unexpected, and spoilers ruins a lot of the enjoyment. That said, I loved your reaction and how well you absorb the informations you see and the names.
She already finished it, read the pinned comment.
Can't wait for you to finish until the 2nd to the last season of this series
yes well.. she did already finish the series.
