Hey its been a while since this video and i saw that you won a new gpu but was wondering how the 2070 went, did you ever run into any problems? Im looking to get one on sale
I heard some negative reviews on gigabyte fans in general, either that they are lower quality then say MSI but mainly that they tend to be relatively loud. Whats your take on sound levels the fans produce?
This is one of the quietest GPUs I've ever used. The only issue I've had with the fans is that when it goes from "fan stop" to a moderate to heavy GPU load you can hear the fans spinning up repeatedly if the temperature is hovering around 60c.
It was at standard(stock settings) at that part. It runs faster than the advertised speed because of GPU Boost 4.0 which allows cards with good cooling to reach higher clock-speeds at stock settings.
yeah there is a limit where the fans begin ramping up, you can have it always on through a setting in MSI afterburner, which might be the way to go because the fan can ramp repeatedly using the fan stop feature...
for a lot of games it's not needed, but in demanding games it does help. and the extra ~10% fps improvement helps when targeting higher resolutions or higher frame-rates.
@@Superior85 yeah I get that. But what game? The only game I haven't been able to run perfectly want "Hunt Showdown" and that's only because the game isnt totally optimized and is still in beta. Every other game I try runs flawlessly.
@@tw5904 I'm gaming at 4K so there are a lot games(AC Origins, Just Cause 3, Ryse, Rise of the Tomb Raider, etc.) where I had to adjust settings, use custom resolution or both in order to get a mostly locked 60 FPS with high graphics settings.
in terms of noise and temperatures there is not much difference according to hexus.net. similar noise levels but the gigabyte runs a few degrees cooler in hexus.net testing.
depends on the game, if you're overclocking or not, frame-rate settings, cpu bottlenecks, graphics settings, ambient temperatures and case cooling conditions.
@@jinankhan4127 Well in the video, it's advertised as "Entry Level RTX". That clearly means that it is the entry level into RTX at this time. Sure, there's a rumoured 2060, but that's not released nor confirmed yet and so this is THE entry level to RTX at the time being
this game runs in slow motion if your GPU isn't powerful enough. the game requires a powerful GPU to hit 60 FPS at 4K max settings. ruclips.net/video/E5IcIPRYpBU/видео.html
Great card so far and the best GPU I've owned up to this point. No hardware issues after 4 weeks of solid use.
Is it still alive? I'm asking because my gigabyte rtx 2070 gaming oc died, i asked for a refound and now i'm thinking to buy this one
@@lorenzopratesi5143 Yup, still working perfectly.
@@lorenzopratesi5143 Wich serial number (SN) did you had at the left side of the box?
Nice vid, is your 2070 still alive, please answer :D

What’s it feel like to win the Nvidia Giveaway!!??
Amazing!
Superior 85 was it at random just one comment or did you have to do something else
just a random comment.
@@Superior85 So you had this card and won a 2080ti? Some people don't know when to stop.

Thanks and thanks for the review! I ordered RTX 2070 last week so just wanted to know what I'm headed for.
@@sssummmak how is it
I'll get my PC this week, will let you know
Rigboi it totally IS fine, my case and cpu fans are louder than GPU.
I see that your card run at 1790Mhz but standard Windforce has a 1620Mhz boost speed. Is this standard settings or you made some OC on the card?
It was at standard(stock settings) at that part. It runs faster than the advertised speed because of GPU Boost 4.0 which allows cards with good cooling to reach higher clock-speeds at stock settings.
I also have one 2070 windforce and it runs at 1840mhz without oc
You just won a 2080 Ti, if you dont need that 2070 then send it to me :D
Anyway, GG!
So is there a temperaturelimit where it after the temperature has gone over some point starts the fans, or should they be always on?
yeah there is a limit where the fans begin ramping up, you can have it always on through a setting in MSI afterburner, which might be the way to go because the fan can ramp repeatedly using the fan stop feature...
Congrats on winning the 2080 ti
Btw are u selling the 2070?
You just won a 2080Ti.
nice
You have won Etc 2080 ti giveaway man. Congrats for it. Visit their channels and check that giveaway of 14 January' s giveaway result video
Well done On winning!
This card can be pushed more I got 1593mhz base , 1938mhz memory,1803mhz boost and 496.1 gb/s oc.
I get overclocking any GPU to increase performance. But with how good this GPU is does it really need to be overclocked?

Should i buy the gigabyte rtx 2070 windforce or the msi rtx 2070 armor 8g?
Both are about the same price
Go with the one you like the design of more. Aside from design they are virtually identical.
Superior 85 how big is the difference of the air flow?
in terms of noise and temperatures there is not much difference according to hexus.net. similar noise levels but the gigabyte runs a few degrees cooler in hexus.net testing.
Superior 85 Alright thanks man!
when playing at 1080p what are the temps ata max speed for the fans?

are you gonna do a giveaway for the 2070?
Congratulation !
Great videao. Thinking of getting this myself. Could you tell me how long the card is? Some sites say 280mm other 300+.
Thanks. It is 280mm.
Hi ! Will my ryzen 5 2600 ( 3.4 Ghz ) bottleneck this rtx 2070 ( i dont want to oveclock it ) ?
What is your monitor resolution and refresh rate?
Is it okay to overclock this version of rtx 2070 from gigabyte? Or should I go to the oc version
Yes, it's okay to overclock this one.
Just saying it’s not an entry level card the 1050,1050ti, 1060,and the soon to be 2050 and 2060 are entry level cards
It's entry level to ray-tracing currently. Or, it's entry level to high-end cards
Tarw ur trying to rebuttal me with two different awnsers which one is it also isn’t the soon to come 2060 supposed to have rtx ( could be wrong)
@@jinankhan4127 Well, they're both true. You are basically saying "You can only have one counter argument, not two"
Tarw props for the ctrl c ctrl v even though that is true it’s not what’s advertised in the video

Congratulations rtx 2080ti winner lucky u
70c at 60% fan speed, bet those fans sounded like a jet.
Not even close. I've had cards that were much louder than this one, and that 60% is overclocked in a benchmark(i.e. a worst case scenario).
Democritus86 I had my 980 Ti on 80c at 80%. Founders edition, doubt gigabyte windforce would sound louder
YOU WON!
Great video man!!!!
thanks.
Congrats on winning the 2080ti
Just bought yesterday
Dont lie this card its not quiet i have it to temperatur 75 and make a noise
mine stays at 60
Lol u won the rtx 2080ti
