It's amazing that none of these shots has an ounce of CGI in them. Every shot and special effect had to be perfectly set up, timed, and created with care. Truly, this is a blockbuster from a different era of filmmaking. Two words to described this movie: lovingly crafted.
@lilmil I don't think its bad. It been an amazing tool in movies. But sometimes its overused. Sometimes movies end up looking more like video games than having a sense of realism.
The talent in this movie is pretty insane, Richard Donner, JOHN WILLIAMS, the cast, and the one who made it look so gorgeous and epic Geoffrey Unsworth.
One of the first movies I watched as a kid that got me into liking DC, Then Spiderman came out and I liked marvel lol, But besides the point, this will always be my favorite, besides Cavill, iteration of Superman, Christopher Reeve's acting as Superman and Clark Kent were just too perfect. The best part about it, it's not just a good superhero movie, but just a good movie in general
The part about Krypton is spectacular, I think that moment of the film taken by itself is an absolute masterpiece. Unfortunately the rest has aged very badly and in personal taste Superman is too flat a character. Nevertheless, this film made my childhood...
Imo the greatest shot in Superman the movie is when right after Luthor contacts Superman with the high frequency sound , after Clark jumps out the window snd changes into Superman , you see him fly upward in an arc and turn in mid air. It still gives me goosebumps watching this scene. Utterly amazing . Even Today its the best live action scene of him flying.

Not to mention inventing new techniques to accomplish what needed to be done. Beautifully crafted and ingenious. Verisimilitude is the best way to go.

Undoubtedly, the greatest comic book superhero to this date.
The first superhero and the first superhero blockbuster, Superman the ultimate superhero.

0:53-1:08 Me too. I was 4 years old when, I first saw Superman the movie special edition on 📀 and Spider-Man on 📼 as 5 year old.
Seeing this as a kid was amazing. I now even live an hours drive away from the Kent farmhouse that's still standing. It's so cool to see.
Ladies and gentlemen, Geoffrey Unsworth.
This brings back so much nostalgia. Thanks for bringing me back to my childhood 💕

Great video also asking again for the original tmnt movie pls😁
No CGI used in the production of this movie. This shows you that we don't need it. It's okay to have but it's not necessary.
Mais obra prima desse canal que amo e me surpreende cada vez mais. Parabéns pelo conteúdo.

When Ant Man and The Wasp?
I don't really like this movie...
@@AmazingShots same
Compare these beautiful shots to the ugly crap in Man of Streel. No contest.
