I for one think what she is doing is incredibly brave, honest & honorable. She is showing her pain in a raw way...it is relatable to many...too many...I promise.

How can all the people in the comments here find time to attack someone who fights for others and the right to fight in her own way. You have to pick your fights in life. Because you cannot always win. And winning is what she just did. Some of you seem to not know how the internet works, by clicking this video you already supporters her, pushed the video and her name higher in the searching machines and increased her reach. Thank you because I think her story is important. You are not supposed to feel sorry for her, if you lack sympathy just be thankful that there is someone showing herself vulnerable. And If you believe it or not you know women and men who got hurt like her, and either there hiding there brokenness from you and your judgemental selves or there just not allowing themselves to feel the pain they will be forced to process in order to make it possible to overcome their trauma. Be positive it´s contagious.

i love rose mcgowan. i feel for her. can someone explain to me though, when the harvey incident happened? because i think she said that it ruined her career. but didn't charmed happen wayyy after the incident? that's how i knew her as realllly being famous. through charmed. all those other cult teen movies in the early 90's like jawbreaker, i never thought of her as the star. i thought that girl rebecca gayheart was the star. someone should tell rose that, that the best thing she ever did was charmed which was after harvey tried to ruin her.

Molar Bear - from what I have seen in interviews, this happened in 1997 or 1998. I think she did a few movies after, then transitioned to Charmed. She has stated she went into Television bc it was an area HW didn’t have control over.
o thanks for explaining that. yeh i thought so. i don't want to sound insensitive, of course this was horrible. but how come she acted fairly "normal" for those almost 20 years after the incident? how come the shaved head and raw on the surface emotion now? that's the only odd thing. if i didn't know any better i would have thought this happened 20 years ago and ruined her career ever since. but it doesn't seem that way. she managed to "cope" all those years. this just seems like raw emotion.
That’s a fair point. I have no real clue what happened. I have my opinion but, that’s all it is. The part that does bother me is that she not only kept it quiet, I mean ok, that’s her business. But she shouldn’t attack others who she says knew and didn’t say anything. Courtney Love said something about HW over 10 years ago. And there is a little self righteousness that she seems to convey.
but then again, trauma is trauma. maybe she pushed passed it for 20 years and this and other factors are jut contributing to this emotional breakdown sort of. she just seemed unaffected and able to cope with it over the 20 years.

In the hopes of helping & healing. Lack of empathy & shaming her...IS PART OF THE PROBLEM & only helps the Weinstiens in this world...gross.

lucaboden she wasn’t strong enough to talk about this and trust me for some people,the trauma can be long i have talked about this with my friend who’s a therapist and she told me that she had a lot of people like her as patients and it can be hard for them,you can’t judge her for what she experienced , all these emotions come from her trauma.

I find Rose to be so deeply relatable. I feel her suffering, yes. She has laid it out - stark & raw - not only to help reclaim some of her own validity, but to help others reclaim some of theirs, also. Rose has every reason in the world to be an 'emotional wreck', as you put it, but I see strength, determination & integrity. If I'd had to deal with what I've dealt with, in front of the entire world, I don't think I'd still be here right now. I have nothing but admiration & respect for this amazingly brave, strong, beautiful soul and gratitude for her generosity in sharing it with the rest of us.
YShood I glad you have someone to look up to. I dont feel the same . To me she portrays herself as this beacon of light for all those who has suffered trauma but when you delve deeper shes a little girl crying for validation and longing for happiness. She's her own worst enemy and I cant live up to the character she portrays because to me it isnt genuine.
