It takes about 3 seconds for everyone to realize that this must be a “hail to the king” track. I love the vibe of this song, as I did with every song on that record. You definitely should check Dream Theater. You'll enjoy songs about real-life stories like The Count of Tuscany and A Nightmare to Remember. Scenes from a Memory is a fascinating concept album with a great history, one of the best concept albums of all time. Images and Words is also a great album to start with. Dream Theater is one of A7X biggest influences.
I can't stop listening to this. No idea why anyone thought this wasn't good enough for the album. Imagine creating these guitar solos and not having people hear them, not to mention the amazing vocals.

Definitely better than most of HttK but I mean they also didn't release 3 AM or Lost it All on Nightmare and those songs were awesome, and I love all the songs in Diamonds in the Rough. Makes you wonder how many amazing demos they make that still haven't been released.
The vocals really stand out. Matt did an amazing job showcasing the way he vocalized his melodies with precision. Kinda reminds me of live in the lbc for that reason. Love the song!

I had trouble finding this but omg I am so happy, this is the first release since my Dad passed away and we loved you guys and we were going to come see you guys in Texas and Houston Open Air but it got canceled cause of weather and I am too young to go into the bar you guys played in. You definitely should check Dream Theater. You'll enjoy songs about real-life stories like The Count of Tuscany and A Nightmare to Remember. Scenes from a Memory is a fascinating concept album with a great history, one of the best concept albums of all time. Images and Words is also a great album to start with. Dream Theater is one of A7X biggest influences.

It was supposed to be in "Hail to the king" but they knew it was too good to end up in their worst album. This song alone could have carried the album, but still I'm glad that the song exists and I absolutely love it!

I always have negative thoughts and can't sleep for longer then 2 hours at a time,iwake up and think about negative shit and what I havent become..on top of that I have extremely vivid dreams so even when i wake up im still tired. i forgot to mention it takes me hours to fall asleep. Im miserable all the time..thank god i have friends that understand. @7Suave I know you didnt ask me but I just felt like i kinda had to explain how I feel. it can help me..

You just made me feel old as fuck. When So Far Away came out, I was listening to it at age 22 in Afghanistan. Music brings us together. But it also ages us in ways that we can’t understand. Your middle school experience exposed you to a7x for the first time. That same experience for me was the comfort of home when I needed it most. It’s truly funny how that works.
