Diamonds In The Rough was originally released on CD in 2008 as part of the DVD+CD release “Live in the LBC/Diamonds in the Rough”. It is a compilation of b-sides recorded during the making of the band’s self-titled 2007 debut, rarities, covers and other non-album tracks. The 2020 vinyl and digital release of the album has been remastered and is expanded by 5 tracks, featuring the unreleased track “Set Me Free” (recorded during the “Hail To The King” sessions). It also includes other hard-to-find tracks such as the fan-favorite “St, James”, “4AM” and “Lost It All”. The 16 track album also includes the band’s cover of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid”, which originally came out in 2009 on the Warner Bros album “Covered”. The vinyl is released on limited edition clear vinyl.

As someone who loves to read lyrics and try to soak the meaning of a song in TY this helped me! I will listen to a song over and over and study it until I know it word for word and understand its meaning and it would piss some people off but it's what I love to do!

This album was fantastic. I remember hating it when it came out. But after listening for a few weeks, I realized how much these songs really do rock.
Doesn't help that I was going thru a very tough time when it came out.

@@R0ckstarRJ City of Evil was released in June, all later albums in August or later. the last album was released oct 28 , 2016, They released this remastered version + unreleased songs because they wanted to do that since a long time and also because its gonna take a little longer to release the new record, it wouldn't make sense to release 2 things at almost the same time. Just my guess lol, i hope for a release in june but probably after summer
EmilPiano this b side album has one previously unreleased song from httk set me free not new SONGS, and they have been rumours of the new album being released in April I doubt it but just because other albums were released later in the year doesn't mean the new one will by that logic the new album should be out since others were nearly every 3 years

Man that first half has such an chill atmosphere. Catchy yet chill at the same time. Then the screaming bit (not metal scream) is a nice thing to hear from Shadows.

This song slaps! I thought I was the only one who thought this song wasn't a diamond in the rough but an incredible masterpiece. My favorite since the album came out.
That moment, when you've finished school/university then you have nowhere to go and nothing to do. At the same time, the other guys/girls have already have their own house or car or something. While life goes on and you don't.

Thank you Brook to be the drummer of the Stage album. And thank you very much M.Shadow to inspire me in to singing and screaming. Without Avenged Sevenfold, I'dd be nothing. AX7 is the Metallica of our generation. Appreciate them while they're still making music. They've been a huge part of my life the last 15 years! First avenged song I heard was afterlife and I was instantly hooked. They helped get me through so many hard times, and still are helping to this day. Keep rocking ppl.
