I am running a 265/70 R17 Pathfinder AT tire I bought at Discount Tire, they are doing very good and they have great reviews. Right now they are 189.00 per tire.
I got rust lurking in rear wheel wells too so gotta do similar work on my WK. At one point I was considering those Fjallasport fender flares to get some big tires fit, but they cost a bit too much for my taste 😅 How big were your tires again? I'm considering 255/75/R17 BFG KM3's on mine, after the current ones wear down too badly (very awesome Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs).
Funny thing is that going Trailing is different than Rock Crawling, a lift in many instances actually hinder your abilities or too much of a lift does. You don't need that kind of lift to go "trailing" you've been bit by the lift bug, lifting a vehicle specially to its max is not the answer to everything. Definitely way too much flex and to the point of hindering your abilities for "trail riding" A stock Jeep with factory tires would just totally blow you away on that trail... that's the irony, you've taken away from its abilities.
So did you just hammer it back? How did you get it to fold. I’m having the same problem. I was going to cut it in one inch sections then hammer it back so it’s easier to fold, kind of like the pinch weld mod.
I put 265/70s on the stock rims on mine, its the exact same set up that he is running on his jeep. I dont have any issues with the rear rubbing with those tires.

Glad to see the Cherokee I traded for the Taco went to a good cause.
Post more videos about this! I love it, I just bought an 08 with Quadra Drive II & 5.7 HEMI … can you do a recent review on this Jeep? Thanks
Excelente buen hombre
Pero falto mostrar la técnica que usaste para doblar la chapa

285/75 17s are what I'm running
@@Samthe1yt Right, now I remember from your FB post. Just commented on another video how my slow mind made the damn connection 🤣
were you able to test it i have the same size tires to go on bit um at a 3.5 front 3 rear lift and spacers preying a clear them when they arrive
I just had to cut some metal back no big deal

What would be a good extended rear control arm? My wk with 33s did the exact same thing. Your channel is great btw found you on a WK page on Facebook!
core 4x4 makes some i think. still looking into some for mine
Nice wk
how are you rolling these pieces? Ican tell it isnt with a hammer lol
Took a saw saw and cut strips on the pinch weld and hit them back flat with a big ol hammer
You need a rear spacer to fix that problem
i added spacers to the rear and trimmed more

Yup. Did it the same way you do the pinch weld mod but in the rear
@@Samthe1yt sweet, came out nice. Going to give it a try.
have you mounted long arm to center the bridge?
Only thing I've done is lifted springs and shocks. It's on stock arms all the way around except the control arms up front that are upgraded.
@@Samthe1yt the solution in the USA is core 4x4. I have the same problem with the 265 and now i don’t touch.
What size of tires do you recommend for 2 or 3 inch lift for wk ?
This is a 2 inch lift and I fit 285s on it so 31s to 33s would work good

Hey man, nice Jeep! What size tires are those?
285/75/17s BFG KM3
I have the same problem!!!
Yeah got to get arms i think.
Nice wk. Roll fenders or lift the ass more. Thats a big tire for your lift
rolled the fenders and cut some of the pinch weld
You can cut the pinch weld out all the way. Weld a plate in its place. Tons of us have done so
