I have a 2005 Eddie Bauer's expedition which is 4x4 and a picture of an engine came on. The manual says it has to do with emissions. I pumped gas and it has not gone away. I replaced the gas cap. It's still on. Any suggestions
Those emissions are tricky . Now its possible the cap was faulty and the code needs manually cleared with a scan tool. So i would start there. However if that doesnt fix the issue there are numerous causes for emission code . Usually best to start with simplest looking for vaccum leaks , fuel gas leaks ( any gas fumes smell ) , O2 sensors upstream downstream catalytic coneverters , fuel issues pressure regulator , spark plugs coil packs . The list just goes on and on . Basically the better the scan tool one can access the more you can narrow it down. Seeing how it just came up i would start with the cheapest and simplest areas first and go from there. Thanks for watching

I got a new fuse but as soon as the new one was in a spark flew and burned out the new fuse. Guy at the parts store said just to leave it in until I find out where the short is. So far no luck. Any advice? Hate not having my radio haha
I would start with the wires in behind the radio ans check for bare wires thats going to be most likely place. You can trace the hot wire coming from the radio and see where it connects if its an aftermarket. Possible the connection point is rubbing . Hope this helps . Thanks for watching

My radio works it takes cds and also ejects them but i get no display on screen with the time or radio station also no sound anybody have any idea of why?
I would start by checking all the fuses , either visually inspection or use a multimeter on continuity which is the easiest . If the fuses check out I'd move on to checking the wires running into the radio make sure none are disconnected severed etc. Best of luck on it and thanks for watching .

@@s33therfan thanks for the advise i did and it was the delayed fuse it was not. The radio power fuse but in the process i also fix my reverse lights.
