I met Patti way back in 85 on the boardwalk in Atlantic City. I was 10 years old and I asked her for an autograph. She said "I don't have pen and paper sugar but come here" She gave me one of the warmest hugs I can remember. A moment I will never forget. What a classy queen.
I attended undergraduate school at Florida State with Ms. Labelle's Goddaughter. Labelle performed in the auditorium that night. PATTI, NONA and SARA DASH performed a few songs from their last album together ❤️! They sang four 🎵 🎶 and it was PHENOMENAL! It was a small group, less than 10 people. I LOVE ❤️ LABELLE! Patti Labelle and the Blue Bells. Phenomenal group! Iconic and classic! True Queen!

For a Black Mother raising a hardhead little boy in Queens in the 70s/80s...him making bad decisions but turning his life around to reach this point to be Interviewing a Legend like Patti Labelle..its honestly a DREAM. My parents were married for 42 almost 43 years and You are my friend was their wedding song and their love song to one another! My father passed away in December and when he was transitioning my mom played their song! Thanks so much Ms Patti for being apart of our lives!

I love Patti so so much she has such a great soul. I have a great story about her. I use to work at the PNC Arena and I met Ms Patti. I had to clean her suit before she came in the room and she comes in with a mob of people, and food galore. She came in with her security who were trying to make me leave and she told me to stay and eat. I didn’t eat because I was so nervous but she hugged me and told me not to be shy. She made one of her people finish cleaning up and told me to stop. She wanted me to stay and said I reminded her of someone. I still till this day don’t know who but, that was a great memory, and yes she is this beautiful soul you see on this show…❤❤❤

I skipped passed this interview for a while because, I was like, 2 hours is a lot and it's hard for me to find that kind of time. 5am and I was actually going to the gym but, decided to start listening anyway. I just finished the entire interview and never left for the gym! Once I started watching, I couldn't stop! Patti is so fkn AMAZING!!!!
Auntie Patti is top 3 of all time. Her, Aretha Franklin, and Whitney Houston. Nobody and I mean nobody got pipes like them. Their voices are incredible and so powerful.
Patti Labelle is just such a gracious and magnanimous soul. When Natalie Cole took sick the first time, she woke up in the hospital with PATTI holding her hand. They were sisters.

I pray that she will be the host of on talk show and advice, American Idol and The Voice judge along with Jennifer Hudson and Fantasia, and Gladys Knight and Dionne Warrick! Patti is the real deal.She attended to Luther after his stroke and until his passing .Patti lived at the hospital and the hospice .Patti reminds me of my mother who co owned a bed & breakfast and she would cook dinner for them and on the holidays .
At 6am I'm up and was about to go to bed. I was having a very long and hard week, mentally. I work 3 jobs and haven't been feeling like smiling lately. This interview is what I needed ❤️ I found myself slowly forming a little smile and when she said "My fans are My Love bugs" she made a big ole smile 😁 form on my face! I felt her sincerity and warmness through the screen and it was what I needed to say a prayer and work on restoring my faith. She loves people and so do I. She reminded me to hold on to a little bit of faith. Thank you Ms. Patti and Drink Champs. This is a blessing ❤️

I met Patti outside The Met here in Philly after Mariah’s show, she was surrounded by people and she seemed a little overwhelmed but she still made time to say hi and gave me a hug! I’ve loved Patti for as long as I can remember, that was a dream come true!!!
I don't think the young ppl understand the amount of respect they had for Patti they rarely cursed ,they didn't smoke,barely drank even though she said she didn't mind. They gave her that respect as an elder. Young folks can never comprehend this. Loved this episode this was amazing.

Patti LaBelle had a semi pro football league in Philly named the LCFL. She used to come to our games and everything. I've been to her house and 1 of her bday parties ... I have nothing but nice things to say about her! Heard her sing live too , it was amazing ... 👏

I love Patti so so much she has such a great soul. I have a great story about her. I use to work at the PNC Arena and I met Ms Patti. I had to clean her suit before she came in the room and she comes in with a mob of people, and food galore. She came in with her security who were trying to make me leave and she told me to stay and eat. I didn’t eat because I was so nervous but she hugged me and told me not to be shy. She made one of her people finish cleaning up and told me to stop. She wanted me to stay and said I reminded her of someone. I still till this day don’t know who but, that was a great memory, and yes she is this beautiful soul you see on this show…❤❤❤

I skipped passed this interview for a while because, I was like, 2 hours is a lot and it's hard for me to find that kind of time. 5am and I was actually going to the gym but, decided to start listening anyway. I just finished the entire interview and never left for the gym! Once I started watching, I couldn't stop! Patti is so fkn AMAZING!!!!

Patti Labelle is just such a gracious and magnanimous soul. When Natalie Cole took sick the first time, she woke up in the hospital with PATTI holding her hand. They were sisters.
I can’t stop smiling. I love Ms. Pattie. Always dolled up; you will never catch her on a off day.
Patti is like our Black Auntie ! Everybody loves her and she is a loving soul! I pray that she will be the host of on talk show and advice, American Idol and The Voice judge along with Jennifer Hudson and Fantasia, and Gladys Knight and Dionne Warrick! A show with all these great talent! Patti We Love You!
Patti is the real deal.She attended to Luther after his stroke and until his passing .Patti lived at the hospital and the hospice .Patti reminds me of my mother who co owned a bed & breakfast and she would cook dinner for them and on the holidays .
At 6am I'm up and was about to go to bed. I was having a very long and hard week, mentally. I work 3 jobs and haven't been feeling like smiling lately. This interview is what I needed ❤️ I found myself slowly forming a little smile and when she said "My fans are My Love bugs" she made a big ole smile 😁 form on my face! I felt her sincerity and warmness through the screen and it was what I needed to say a prayer and work on restoring my faith. She loves people and so do I. She reminded me to hold on to a little bit of faith. Thank you Ms. Patti and Drink Champs. This is a blessing ❤️

I met Patti outside The Met here in Philly after Mariah’s show, she was surrounded by people and she seemed a little overwhelmed but she still made time to say hi and gave me a hug! I’ve loved Patti for as long as I can remember, that was a dream come true!!!
I don't think the young ppl understand the amount of respect they had for Patti they rarely cursed ,they didn't smoke,barely drank even though she said she didn't mind. They gave her that respect as an elder. Young folks can never comprehend this. Loved this episode this was amazing.
