Super film . Very enjoyable
Absolutely magical and they must stay.
It's their home, bless them.
Great video thanks
Another solid vid! Thanks for the shout out you honestly just made my week!
Thank you so much man! I can assure you it was you who made my week!
There's a good few dozen red-knecked wallabies on Lambay Island off the coast of Dublin also
Great video, I had no idea Scotland had its own Wallaby community. Hope they're still bouncing about happily.
Updated video on the wallabies coming up soon!
I heard about the wallabies when I was a lot younger and like you I went to find them but no.
Being Ozzie best way to have contacted them would have been start a barbie and get out some beer, they would have turned up no worries
Is this an Australian joke?
class
very nice video i am your fan
Thank you!
They are also found in England funnily enough, small populations roam free.
It’s weird lol as Scotland & England are so cold compared to Australia but if you leave nature to itself then it’ll come on leaps & bounds without man’s intervention
@@janice506 The wallabies found in the UK are native to the colder parts of Australia and New Zealand, like Tasmania and southern New Zealand, which have identical climates to the UK.
Thanks mate, as an Aussie, I was interested to know how they ended up there.
It's definitely a weird one!
How are they a problem for the capercaillie ? Do they eat their eggs or destroy nests or dose someone just not like them cos, their not from here. Best video i have seen on the wallabies,
Hi, thanks for your comment! There was a lot of talk about the wallabies being damaging towards the capercaillie, but I've since found out that Capercaillie are extinct on the island already.
Wallabies are herbivores. They don't eat eggs
When did you go here. I'm going in early Sept do you think they'll all be gone?
Did you go? And if so did you see them?
The later in the year you go the better. The ferns die off and you can see them. In summer they stick to the undergrowth.
Brill Kirsty young has bought it but wallaby should stay
The amazing Chris Packham is trying to save them from the new owners of the island.needless to say they intend to squeeze this beautiful place to get every penny they can.disgusting.
What so are they gonna completely chops down all the trees etc to accommodate holiday makers ? The SNP government are so two face making out they’re all environmental
The new selfish island owners want them removed.
