- So to round up a Christmas flurry of videos we are doing it in style with a fish shop tour of the epic shop that is Pier Aquatics and as an added bonus I am picking up a fish from my wish list and that is the L24 Pleco.

I have filmed an array of amazing fish butbits a drop in the ocean to what this shop as an offer I would highly recommend anyone in the UK to visit this place

It just shows how long it is since I had my Altums all those years ago, I bought all 6 of mine for £120, they weren't fry or babies either, they were decent size juvies, looking at these again it makes me miss mine even more!

That clear cut shot of daisy chaining and fire risk of the extension lead WITH a cube adapter that can easily be dripped, splashed is alarming they've not burnt down yet
All those big plecos are over 1kea here easy as we can’t legally import

love this shop and its only 20 minutes from me so visit it quite often
20 mins is good lol thats a LFS it's about 40 mins for me so not too bad such a great place ain't it

@@bigfishlad4847hi Paul I am really pissed off I ordered from sims the other week I ordered 1 peacock bass,1 regani cichlid,1 breidorhi and 1 synspilum. They where due to arrive today which they have however they sent me two peacock bass and 2 regani cichlids. And when I called up and questioned them they said that they had none in because Christmas has just passed and so they had no breidorhi or synspilum which is understandable but they didn’t call me to verify instead added 1 more peacock bass and 1 more regani Cichlid. And despite being sold out of a bunch of fish they still have them up on their website !
@@Predatorfishaddict yes mate doesn't surprise me with them it happens a lot I think if I was you I would hold them to the fish you ordered
@@bigfishlad4847 thanks for the advice You did tell me prior to this I was To stubborn to listen . My uncle who is quite old now Ordered a pearsei cichlid like 3 months ago from sims and a week ago noticed red around the gill plate and this “pearsei cichlid” grew Literally to like 5 inches from 5cm in 3 months I was spectical and I said it could be a synspilum he said that sims wouldn’t swap the fish as he spent 20 pounds on it and a further 30 for delivery 50 pounds for 5 cm fish.Synspilum is like my favourite fish but 50 pounds for a fish you didn’t even want and for them to not Even give him a message about changing it is outrageous and we both agreed that based on today’s events they will swap a fish without hesitation
It's a shame mate that they do these things hopefully you can get it sorted out with them and they send you the correct fish

Great living down the road lol its a 40 min drive for us yes if you haven't been in for 6 months I think a big treat is in order lol

@@richardlewis4841 males can reach 10 to 12 inches on average and can be aggressive best to get a group and grow a pair out

Yeah I see it's highly rated, I've watched a few videos on it, I went to the one in Leyland the other week, that wasn't bad, little pricey on some of the livestock.
I've never been to Pier. Had a few people tell me I need to go. Those fish look on point to me

I did think to myself, while browsing the Pier Stock this week, 'I wonder if BFL will be heading down'. Turns out, I was right! Nice pick ups; I was tempted by a 24 but went with an L273, instead. Just because I've not seen them very often before. 😅

@BigFishLad ha, yeah! Went down on Wednesday and was there the week before Xmas, as well. Bottled the L273last week but put on my big boy pants and bought it this week 😅😅

Great buys Paul 🙂 the L24 looks a cracker. Cant go wrong with the dollars and colombian tetras also. I use those as dithers and they school lovely.
