Idont think people being concerned about her voice makes them a hater…that label gets tossed around a lot on social media. I know there are some rude comments that im sure all youtubers get, and thats jot good, but showing concern, and occasionally disagreeing with something that is said or done…does not equal hate
@@robinbrown7953 if you watched her videos for sometime you know she has address this a number of times. When someone teases a person or post hateful comments, it is in fact hate. If someone is concerned and they are coming from a place of love, they state it. My comment is addressing those with hateful comments. I didn't ask what you thought, I stated what I thought.

But we’re not on the street, she’s narrating videos. As a nurse, I assumed she had pyloric stenosis. Her videos are excellent, but to pretend her voice doesn’t come across as extremely raspy is ridiculous.

I’m glad that the comments don’t bother you because when a doctor or a nurse point out that something could be a symptom of something serious,they have probably seen it firsthand. (A good friend of mine had a raspy voice,no other symptoms,turned out to be throat cancer,22 hours in the operating room.) So glad yours is just a family thing.👍

I'm very PROUDLY another member of the husky voice club 😊. And it served me well as a cheerleader for many years. I used to say that my voice sounded like Melissa Ethridge at the end of a long concert after smoking a pack of filterless cigarettes and chewing on a little gravel 😂😂! I was adopted at birth and met my biological mother when I was 18. We laughed during the entire meeting because it sounded like only 1 person was having a 2 sided conversation because we had the exact same voice. Like you, I never had the high pitched girlie thing going on, but that would definitely not have served my personality!

One of my precious little granddaughters has a similar rasp in her voice. I love it! It makes her unique and it really is charming. At five years old, she is also quite the communicator. I appreciate that you love homemaking for your family. I can imagine that they appreciate it too.

I can completely relate to the voice conversation! I don’t have a raspy voice, but it has always been deeper. As a little girl, I was in a children’s choir, and the choir teacher said, “You have such a mature voice.” I thought it was a complement and was proud, but looking back, I realize it was because my voice was so low and deep. Deeper than the boys at that time. 😂 And, it’s also a genetic thing in my family. 🤷🏼♀️❤

Oh, my goodness! When I was a little girl we lived in my grandma‘s house for a winter when she went south to stay with her sister. Those were the days when milk cartons were just being used and there was always wax in the milk from the sides of the carton. When we move to my grandma’s house, my uncle brought us milk every morning and it had a couple of inches of cream on the top. We hated the milk. It was thick and we liked the thin stuff we had in town. When we moved back to my hometown, we complained that the milk was too thin. Brings back warm memories.

Omgoodness really, I can’t believe people say that to you. I grew up with a brown spot in my eye and people were continually saying my eye was bleeding. For our ice cream I use sweetened condensed milk, heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, fruit of your choice & enough milk to fill the container to the fill line. We ❤️ this ice cream!

My raspy voice is 100% genetic as well! My grandma, her sister, my Aunt, my Brother, and all 4 of my sisters all have a deep, raspy voice just like me. I used to get told I sound like a boy and that really hurt me as a kid, but my husband loves my voice and I love it too as an adult. I love yours and your sister’s voice because it makes me feel less alone! 🙌🏻❤️

I've always wondered about your voice but would never dare ask. I thought perhaps you had nodules on your vocal folds (like cheerleaders and singers get). I watch you and your sister and I'm always so impressed and envious how much you gals cook and keep up with your house. I'm a SAHM as well. My girls are older now (1 in college and 1 in HS). Girl, internet comments are next level. I was literally just today watching a podcast with a lovely lady whom I’ve followed for a long time. She mentioned that there are whole forums online of people who hate her. Like, why, though? All she ever talks about is beauty and elegance.. she’s never mean or rude, she just shares sweet life tips. Totally harmless..
I was perplexed, so when I got a minute I sat and googled “why would someone dislike *--*?”
Oh, I found the forums… reading the comments made me chuckle.
Everything I was reading about why people didn’t like her made me like her even more. 🌷🌷🌷

I love your house and decor style! I recently learned this on another video, but if you mix vinegar and baking soda, chemically they cancel each other out and cleans only similar to how water would. Lots of Google articles explain it better :) New subscriber, excited to watch more videos!
Yes! Baking soda and vinegar react to form sodium acetate (a salt) in water and carbon dioxide (gas). The cleaning power is lost when you mix them.

When I first found your channel I was confused because I thought it was you sister Lisa, who I had also just found a short time before. But when I actually looked at the screen (I usually just listen while I’m working around the house) I could see you were not Lisa 😂. Anyway, I was the girl with the high pitched voice as a child and i hated it. I’m so glad mine has lowered as I have gotten older. I think your voice is very calm and soothing. I am also a registered nurse and health coach. I think many times less is more when it comes to medical procedures. Stay you!

I do the same thing with fruit when there is only a couple of them. If you don't want to use them in smoothies, you can just freeze them until you get enough to make some jam/jelly. I think I love fruit better than vegetables simply because they are easier to put up for storage be it canning or freezing.

I like your videos a lot , your voice is perfectly fine and your house is lovely and functional, it's cosy but not cluttered, less is better.
