That dude is unreal. I think he could start in the NFL today and maybe even be a Top 10 QB. His pocket presence and quick decision and accuracy is off the charts.
that last throw in the Rose Bowl. Elite NFL caliber. Herbstreit's in-game reaction was great. Speechless for several seconds, then is like "how does he make this throw?!"
No QB in college football comes to mind that could have made that throw to tie the game against Penn St. This guy just has it !!!!! He's by far the best QB in the Nation right now.
Future number 1 pick in the making. Every type of intangible this kid possesses. Arm strength, accuracy, mobility, size, poise, calmness, clutch, and leadership. In this generation today with social media and beyond, it is complicating to find quarterbacks with those intangibles. He keeps this up, we are looking at the next big thing.
If he could go to the draft this year , 100% no doubt in my mind he'd go number 1. yes he is a bit raw ( he's a freshman) but based on sheer special ability and potential . no doubt he's the first pick
Sam Darnold reminds me alot of Ben Roethlisberger by the way he escapes the pocket to scramble and extended the play and is hard to tackle just like Big Ben as well which ever team gets him in the draft will be getting a Ben Roethlisberger clone in my opinion dude means business!
That's my QB! Easily most talented USC QB for a decade. I was hoping he sticks with us two more years several months ago, but I see him gone next year now, sad :(
Pressure just does not phase this dude. His pocket presence is truly remarkable for any QB much less a 19 year old. I pray my Bills tank this season and get the #1 overall pick {that's definitely what it will take to get this guy in the 2018 draft} so we can snag this guy. He's as good or better than 60-70% of NFL starters RIGHT NOW !! I just wonder how much better he can actually get and how high his ceiling is. 19 years old !! Absolutely incredible.
So good at extending the play, throwing on the run, fitting the ball in tight windows and hitting receivers in stride! Not much of a deep ball guy but that’s something he can work on!
At times when I see Sam Darnold in a Jets Uniform I have to pinch myself still to make sure I’m awake an this is real life!! Still can not believe he fell to us!! #JETUP #SamIsTheFuture ✈️✈️✈️
He can read defenses about as well as most drivers can read road signs and make big plays even in heavy pressure situations which is rare in QB's these days. I'm surprised he doesn't get talked about more often.
8MoneyIzmyMission8 Please name any freshman qb in history with the arm strength, speed, vision, escapability, poise, agility, and football IQ of Sam Darnold. I'll wait
i thought the same exact thing the first time i ever saw him throw a pass. But if I were his coach I don't think i'd be trying to change too much, if anything at all, regarding his throwing mechanics because like you stated his passes are on point many more times than they aren't.
JustBombsProductions I know Deontay got the hat trick there, but the technique, the way it was thrown, just the magic Darnold stirred up at that point in the game, that's what I call a hat trick right there!
Good throw, but what was the safety (#2) doing? I get zone coverage but at some point defenders are going to start breaking on route concepts. Looked like Darnold stared that one down a bit, and across the deep middle is a risky move against 2 high safeties.
Definitely my favorite prospect for 2018, assuming he comes out. There are a lot of plays on this video in which the play is seemingly falling apart and Darnold pulls it out of the fire - I like that he shows an ability to stay composed under pressure, I like that his teammates seemed to have gotten in line behind him which indicates he's a solid leader, however what I'd like to see from him next season is greater command of the offense as a whole and display the level of precision that it takes to succeed in the NFL. It's extremely early, but I think he's the guy most likely to be the top QB taken, perhaps at #1 overall - for all of the reasons mentioned above plus the physical attributes and really nice touch on his throws. There are a lot of guys who have all of the physical tools that you can try to teach certain things to, however in a small sample size Darnold showed a lot of the things that you simply can't teach.
Dear JustBombsProductions...Thank you for making a highlight video that doesn't have stupid rap music over it...You set the benchmark for highlight video creation.
Going to be a scramble to land this guy next year! 49ers, Bears, Chargers, Jags, Bills, Jets, Browns, Cardinals, Chiefs, Steelers, Redskins, Giants, Saints, Texans and even possibly the Broncos, all looking for their next quarterback! That's over half the league potentially vying for Darnolds signature.
As he is now the NFL would turn him into a defenses dream. Quite a few of the highlights should really be interceptions and there were cases where he threw into double, even triple, coverage. He's a freshman so this is understandable, but I wouldn't bet on him yet.
Sike carr is nothing like rodgers. Darnold is only 19 and has the mobility of a rodgers and arm strength. Carr has a great supporting cast that makes him look better than he is
Sam donald has alotta sam bradford in him when he played for the sooners he processes the defense fast jus like sam bradford throws with power and accuarcy never seems to get scared or nervous during a play is mobile like andrew luck but always seem to make the right play
Probably the best comparison. Idk if he has Carson's accuracy, but he makes up for it with how accurate he is on the run, something Carson never did. Still, tho, great things in store for USC.
Crazy I was just taking about Sam Darnold and your comment popped up lol... btw Carson is deathly accurate with his deep ball , best down filed thrower of a football i ever seen, Pete Carroll and Bruce Arians say he's the best to do it also !(AND those two are Old lol they seen a lot of QB's in their lifetime )
Sam Darnold certainly looks like he has all the tools to go and play football on Sundays..but him only being a freshman (I thought he was at least sophmore)..what's the rush?..get another year under your belt..enjoy some more success..NFL aint goin anywhere..BIG difference between "college success" & "NFL success"..
I think it would be cool if he ended up on the Browns (granted Kizer doesn't turn into a stud). I think he is going to be special and they are moving in the right direction with this draft.
Kind of has a funny throwing motion. Kind of dips the ball downward at the back part of his motion. Kind of like Blake Bortles but not that obvious. Bust.
Does anyone else notice he has a weird release right before he throws the ball? Reminds me of what Tebow struggled with that they had to reteach him to do in the NFL. By no means am I saying he's like Tebow, I just think his release is awkward
My Bills need to tank and get this dude in 2018 draft. I'm praying and you're correct, it's gonna take the #1 overall pick to get him because even if the team selecting #1 overall in 2018 doesn't need a QB they're still gonna take him either as an upgrade to whom they have already or as trade bait for the many QB-needy teams.
Dear God: Please have the NY Jets go 0-16 this year so they can have a chance at this guy in the 2018 NFL Draft and finally get their franchise guy. Amen.
Captain Spartan 04 shows how good Tyrod is. The fact that the organization is setting him up too fail (so they can draft the QB they want).. but still get you five games with an intentionally made subpar roster around him. Can't wait for him to get another opportunity with a winning organization, and get away from those losers up in Buffalo.
You should do Jacob Eason freshman year highlights he's a legit QB that didn't really get the recognition he deserved as a true freshman bc of the type of offense that UGA ran but he will be a beast next season
MoonMAN MoONmaN Eason was just like Stafford as a true freshman, he struggled heavily. I think he'll grow with that team though and will be a force as a junior, maybe even as early as next year.
LeGawd James lol Sam Darnold played on a pass heavy west coast style while if you know anything about UGAs offense and RB core we have a run based offense with very few pass plays and Eason being a true pro style QB didn't get as many opportunities to use his elite arm strength and if you listen to what any professional analyst says they say he already look better then Matthew Stafford put Eason on a west coast offense scheme with elite talent at wideout and he'd be the best qb in the nation
8MoneyIzmyMission8 he will be the problem is that our offense last season would be better suited for a dual threat qb as opposed to a true pro style our offensive scheme is very run heavy with the rb core we have but with some adjustments and the right players at wideout and TE he can be elite
really don't like his arm strength but he makes great reads and awesome pocket awareness. depending on where he gets drafted weather will play a huge role in his future. its nice playing in the sunshine so he better hope the 49ers pick him up
As a lifelong jets fan, watching Sam out there making plays, going through progressions, placing the ball beautifully... my hard will be dark and cold for a long time if we can't suck enough to get him...
Projecting to the NFL, he's got plenty to work on. Getting his feet set into his throws on a consistent basis (when he does, it's pretty good). Calming down in the pocket (what's with that first play running 20 yards backwards?). Clean up the throwing motion which can get elongated at times, along with staring down some routes. All things young, pre-NFL qbs typically need further development with. All that being said, he was only a second-year player so he has a very promising outlook. The improvisation is always exciting to watch, but doesn't necessarily mean pro success. I'd like to see him play a little more composed from the pocket in 2017. But, as always happens, when you're a productive qb at a prestigious college program, he'll most likely become a first round pick. But all these comments of inducting him into the pro football hall of fame are presuming he takes some significant strides.
He can read defenses about as well as most drivers can read road signs and make big plays even in heavy pressure situations which is rare in QB's these days. I'm surprised he doesn't get talked about more often.

This guy just has it !!!!!
He's by far the best QB in the Nation right now.
beeto11 Jalen Hurts is pretty good too, this is coming from a USC fan.
VM805 Jalen Hurts can't throw
Future number 1 pick in the making. Every type of intangible this kid possesses. Arm strength, accuracy, mobility, size, poise, calmness, clutch, and leadership. He shits on every QB coming out this year. No question.
BmoreBirds22 u guessed it he will be
Sam Darnold reminds me alot of Ben Roethlisberger by the way he escapes the pocket to scramble and extended the play and is hard to tackle just like Big Ben as well which ever team gets him in the draft will be getting a Ben Roethlisberger clone in my opinion dude means business!
That's my QB! Easily most talented USC QB for a decade. I was hoping he sticks with us two more years several months ago, but I see him gone next year now, sad :(
Hyde Cloud Sanchez is better
Hope he breaks the jets QB curse
well now that this is a reality i hope so too lmao
@HAWG! he will. 22 years old has a lot to learn, took the loss like a champ. Dude can ball.
Nah he’s got this
👻
@Joe Harlem He did.
Pressure just does not phase this dude. His pocket presence is truly remarkable for any QB much less a 19 year old. feels good being a jets fan about to possibly get him or rosen ;)
So good at extending the play, throwing on the run, fitting the ball in tight windows and hitting receivers in stride! Not much of a deep ball guy but that’s something he can work on!
That throw to Burnett triple coverage was insane!
At times when I see Sam Darnold in a Jets Uniform I have to pinch myself still to make sure I’m awake an this is real life!! Still can not believe he fell to us!! #JETUP #SamIsTheFuture ✈️✈️✈️
Aged well.😊
He can read defenses about as well as most drivers can read road signs

QB's these days. I'm surprised he doesn't get talked about more often.
He's the greatest freshman qb in USC history, and arguably the best freshman qb in history period. Darnold is a freak. So glad to be a Trojan #FightOn
Slade Mosher calm down. Not the best freshman QB in history, but he is very amazing
Slade Mosher He's actually a freshman RS, so technically he's a sophomore.
8MoneyIzmyMission8 Please name any freshman qb in history with the arm strength, speed, vision, escapability, poise, agility, and football IQ of Sam Darnold. I'll wait
Slade Mosher He could be the next Aaron Rodgers, but BIGGER.
Slade Mosher Jamies Winston.
NFL caliber throw at 5:40.... Rose Bowl late 4th quarter to tie the game.
Sam Darnold is a level-headed beast.
It's strange because his throwing motion looks awkward but his pasesss are on point with a lot of zip behind him, this kid has a chance to be special.
i thought the same exact thing the first time i ever saw him throw a pass. But if I were his coach I don't think i'd be trying to change too much, if anything at all, regarding his throwing mechanics because like you stated his passes are on point many more times than they aren't.
he jus need to shorten his throwing motion ..he said he got that frm his baseball history
Sam Darnold's last TD throw. That's a hat trick.
Hat trick for Deontay Burnett. That was Darnold's fifth TD
Julius Escano it’s Rigged
awesome and bright future for sc! fight on✌

Been a huge fan of you just bomb. keep doing you bro
I sincerely hope the Jets don't blow the tank, we really need this guy
And this was for all them cats that I was balling with
Joshua Pryor Link to the song is in the description of all my videos
Still don't know how he made that last throw in the Rose Bowl....
Can you incorporate Stats again? I would really appreciate it
next year Kyle and John will figure out a way to get this guy. 49ers !
Footwork is amazing
I really hope this talent isn’t wasted if he goes to the browns
That last throw.. my lord
Thanks dude Darnold is the GOAT
man is a beast
He will be a great NFL qb. He has tons of potential.
As a browns fan, thank God I see almost no browns wanting him. We've ruined enough lmao
49ers might need this guy.
that last throw showed me enough to take him #1 lol franchise QB right there
scouts are going to tear that release apart. still want my cards to get him next year though :)
Sam "I am" Darnold
Dear JustBombsProductions...Thank you for making a highlight video that doesn't have stupid rap music over it...You set the benchmark for highlight video creation.
Damn bruh i remember when u had 2k u came along way wish i could come with u lol

Who’s here in 2024?!
Dare I say. A future Giant?
Rasheed Shabazz either him or Barkley
A Jet he became, thanks for passing up on him and going with Barkley
As he is now the NFL would turn him into a defenses dream. Quite a few of the highlights should really be interceptions and there were cases where he threw into double, even triple, coverage. He's a freshman so this is understandable, but I wouldn't bet on him yet.
For some reason it seems like his name would be Jack 🤔
Beast🐐
Future Heisman
Future GOAT🐐
Next Aaron Rodgers
Future HOF
JoseRicoTacoNacho QuesedillaMandillaJones luck like not rodgers carr is the closest thing to rodgers
Sike carr is nothing like rodgers. Darnold is only 19 and has the mobility of a rodgers and arm strength. Carr has a great supporting cast that makes him look better than he is
Joe Bruhman lol I just cried gtfo
Great One dont even compare a broken car to rodgers lmfao whats wrong wit u boy?
Joe Bruhman you're a nine fan so I should expect that probably still have nightmares of the time he torched your d in 2014
Reminds me of a less refined aaron rodgers. Kid has great pocket awareness and elusiveless. Watch out for him in next year's draft.
GOAT !
#1 Overall pick next year
So why is this guy's so special?
played him when he played for San Clemente High School
This kid is filthy mcnasty ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
Cleveland will package all first and second rd picks next year to move up and grab this guy #1...
Future First Overall Pick
Reminds me of Steve Young.
Sam donald has alotta sam bradford in him when he played for the sooners he processes the defense fast jus like sam bradford throws with power and accuarcy never seems to get scared or nervous during a play is mobile like andrew luck but always seem to make the right play
Carson Palmer with legs !
Probably the best comparison. Idk if he has Carson's accuracy, but he makes up for it with how accurate he is on the run, something Carson never did. Still, tho, great things in store for USC.

Yeah, best deep ball thrower ive seen in my lifetime as well. Could put in a bucket.
I think darnold's biggest weakness is his deep ball touch
Future giants
Future ny giant
I like how literally 90% of Sam's passes are to Burnett
That's not even close to true.
SportsMixes02 and JuJu doesn't do shit
SportsMixes02 Dude hits live 5 wr a game.
Darnold?s has it!!!!
Sam Darnold>Lamar Jackson
THE GREATEST by a mile
Sike
Say sike now
Aaron Maldonado he’s better
Better be saying LJ
Giants QB of the future when he declares for the draft.
NYG Beamer Giants would have to tank pretty damn hard to get him.
NYG Beamer so in like two years?
You should do Jordan Martin from Toledo
*With The #1 Pick of the 2018 NFL Draft*
The Cleveland Browns Select San Darnold Quarterback USC.
I think it would be cool if he ended up on the Browns (granted Kizer doesn't turn into a stud). I think he is going to be special and they are moving in the right direction with this draft.
The way he throws the football I see Aaron Rodgers. Unbelievable!
There must be another channel called Just Boobs Productions
Kind of has a funny throwing motion. Kind of dips the ball downward at the back part of his motion. Kind of like Blake Bortles but not that obvious. Bust.
Does anyone else notice he has a weird release right before he throws the ball? Reminds me of what Tebow struggled with that they had to reteach him to do in the NFL. By no means am I saying he's like Tebow, I just think his release is awkward
Jets would be the type of team to pass him up for another defensive player
Anotha great vid. Hopefully he'll be in KC by 2018.
Chiefs Central Productions Not happening unless they go 1-15. Smith is fine and they are a playoff team next year
My Bills need to tank and get this dude in 2018 draft. Big Ben arm, Aaron Rodgers mobility, Tom Brady accuracy
Jets need to tank for this guy
Future Jet
Headed to Denver!
Juju and Sam together was the shit😭
I hope the Browns take him and he becomes one of the greatest QB's of all time!
Dear God: Please have the NY Jets go 0-16 this year so they can have a chance at this guy in the 2018 NFL Draft and finally get their franchise guy. Amen.
T.A. Rugg hackenberg?
sorry, but Buffalo will be tanking this year to get him.......
Larry Jackson can't tank with tyrod. Trod will make you win 5 games
yeah lol. Jets will get number 1 or 2 pick.

The real deal!

9ERS in 2018 please!!!
This dude looking legit as fuck
He can read defenses about as well as most drivers can read road signs
and make big plays even in heavy pressure situations which is rare in
QB's these days. I'm surprised he doesn't get talked about more often.
He's a freshman, so...
he's declaring for the draft in 2018 and he'd be a fool not to.
Be is all they talk about.
but is he eligible
HardpointTV Yep. He's projected as the #1 QB for next year's draft.
Runs like Manziel, throws like favre
