Yes, a shallow well can be used to irrigate however to a smaller scale depending on the irrigation method to be used, and planned crop types. You may need about 8,000 litres per day, however the actual water required will depend on climate, crop and soil factors. A hand dug well may give you about 1,000 litres a day.

You won't get enough pressure to runn all the sprinklers unless u raise the tanks 70metres to get good flow and head
