Wow...Wow! Oh my my..🤓👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏽. May I say that was the best, most awesome easy to understand “webinar” I’ve ever had. Why? Because as a layman and new to irrigation systems, I’m now ready to confidently calculate the numbers and go ahead and irrigate my two acre farm using rain harvested storm waters, stored in a man made shallow dam. Thank you Sir and KEEP IT UP. Regards, Jesse
Excellent video! I have a small pasture for wildlife, including fruit trees. Last year I bought an impact style, rotary sprinkler on a stand and linked several hoses together to reach this pasture. We're on a well and when the pressure falls, the sprinkler stream gets really weak. I'd like to add a second sprinkler. Plus, I'd like to get a generator, to set near our creek and use it to pump water to this location. Although its quite a distance from the creek (about 425ft), the elevation is fairly level and suction lift would only be a few feet. After watching this video, I understand so much more about selecting a proper size pump.
Don't know if you're still there, mount some water tanks on a trailer and a trash pump. Fill the water tanks with the trash pump, then head to where you need to irrigate and use your irrigation pump. You can find both tanks and trash pumps on Facebook Marketplace for cheap, just have to wait a little.
This was great. We have a 2HP 3 Stage. A slightly different question becomes what is bad for the pump rather than if it can service the biggest zone. This massive pump is connected to a drip line which of course is a very small pipe running off 1-1/4" I also have 2 smaller zones that happen to be 3/4" coming off the 1-1/4" line. If I throw a 75psi reducing valve on the pump is it sufficient to avoid pump or motor damage? I'd be interested in a video based on how to protect your investment once the right pump is selected. Questions like what to do if the owner wants a 3/4 garden hose run off the top of the pump and how to do so without damage.
Thanks for this clear demonstration, You used one value of pressure for sprinkler requirement although i was expecting to multiply the 50psi by the number of sprinklers ?
Love the video. The total head of the system is similar my project.. I'm quickly finding I will need a 2 stage pump or two pumps in series. (160 feet head and 60 gpm).. 2.3 acres to water.
how do you set it up for a on-demand? This is you turn the pump on and it pushes the water to sprinklers. What type of pre and post filtration should you use?
After watching your video I feel like If any one could help me here it's you guys. This isn't an irrigation system but I think the theory is the same. My koi pond has a screen filter part of it was an Oase submersible pump that feeds water too two spray heads that keep the screen from clogging. after 18 years the pump crapped out, that pump is no longer available there is no official replacement. I purchased this pump Jabeo DCM13000 specs 24v 95w 13500 L/hr 6.5 max head/M in/out 40 50 mm I believe the in/out was 2". This pump did not provide enough pressure at the nozzles to keep the screen clear of debris. Then there was the claim that some one used this pump Eco max DM 10000 specs DM 10000 10000 lph (2200)gph 5.0M (16.4)ft. max head 85w 1¼"/1¼" in/out It's actually is a smaller power pump. what could have help cause this result ? I don't believe the flow rate is that important but there must be good pressure at the nozzles. Any ones thoughts would be greatly appreciated Thanks
You said flow and pressure are independent. Which i dont think so. Because as per Bernoulli's equation they both are dependent. What i mean is, in case of sprinkler you can't have two different pressure values at same flow rate and vice versa. Can you clarify?
This video was extremely well done. Whoever your narrator (presenter) is... he's a keeper.
This is very well done! I came into this knowing nothing and now am well prepared to select the right pump.
Never ever I have seen anybody tell so clearly and precisely about pump selection process. Remarkable work. Really helpful.

This is, by far, the best help I have ever received on ANY subject but more importantly one that i have had the most concern with. Thank you.

Amazing video. Complete noob here. This gave me so much info. Excellent job!!!!
Thanks from Palestine, it is a useful video .

Excellent and easy to follow video. Thank you
the best video so far!
Thank you. We appreciate the view!

Very well spoken and informative! Thanks
Sir electricain power pump tecnical matter question
Hi
I work as Irrigation landscspe hardscape projects .
I have experience more 18 year in Dubai.
I like work in Australia
Thank you
Eng Fouad
Best explanation, Thanks a lot
Very clear and informative vedio... Thank you very much
Great video pls what number of sprinklers and types of sprinklers do i need to a irrigate 1 hectare of pasture land
Thank you for good info
Thanks a lot!You are too good bro
Great work

Good information
SIR I HAVE A 300 FT DEEP BORE . KINDLY CAN U TELL ME WHICH SUMMERSABLE PUMP CAN WE PUT AND ON HOW MUCH DEPT .
How much galones of water are in a 6 inch diameter and 300 deep well pls
What is x-HP, y-Stage like 3HP, 3 Stages in the "Selecting the Pump"?
can i use this rules to size a pump for drip irrigation system? how can i calculat the friction in the laterals (driplines)? thank you so much
Indeed this video is so helpfull
@@mboowashafiq1496 effectively this video is very helpfull, i repled it multipl time i understood very well, thank you so much.
Thanks a lot
Muchas grasias bro
Should saddle valves also be considered as tees
Thanks ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
Geat work
Excellent
thank you so much
Thank you
I now, 'get it '
Thanks thanks
