From personal experience, I've found that groups or packs that are all grey, or the same shade of grey are usually more than happy to canni you 😮💨
packs with matching skins are always red flags

As a mostly solo player I def won’t be playing Omni much anymore it’s just not worth it 💀
That's probably a smart choice. I would recommend Herrera to fellow solo players, you can always escape and desync won't affect on your experience as much
i must say, this was the exception not the norm, most omniraptors are quite social and kind towards their own specie. Especially a whole gang with same skin ready to canni, thats rare as hell. The only group i know where all raptors have the same skin is -Utah Gang- and they do not canni, friendly french folk.

The game is slowly being taken over by big ass foreign clans I've notice, before long you wont even be able to play it without your own group of friends to even deal with em.

got the game 2 weeks ago, have about 50 hours mostly on the croc and its all cannibal clans everywhere i go. everyone knows eachother its no fun being solo
@@Dudewatsup crocs are cannibalistic and in water there's little to no interaction with others so it makes sense but if there are over packing clans everywhere, that kinda sucks

I'm pretty sure what was happening with the big pack of raptors teleporting wasn't lag related. The other stuff was but not that.

i like this game but i hate this game
3 things-
1. This is content from the hordetesting servers, which are normally very unstable and suffer from bad interpolation and desyncing as well as a huge hacker issue going on right now.
2. Never trust anyone ever in this game, not even your own species, unless they are chatting with you actively never ever expose yourself to them.
3. The Pouncing and grapping mechanics are absolutely broken right now even something that weighs 2- 6 times as much as an Omni loses all it's stamina just trying to buck 1 off, however this is the case because these grappling mechanics are still being tested. But rear pounces shouldn't be a thing anymore, seen way too many people abusing it.
Praying to the Lord fiber optic is enough to avoid shit like the Troodon incident of 6:00
The game's netcode is in such a bad shape, I don't think you'd be safe even if you directly plugged in your pc to the server
sorry, i got top tier internet, the isle still has poor netcoding, pretty much nullifies my top tier connection XD
@@Nickboay we need recode 2.0 at this point. I don't know what's happening under the hood but the servers can add almost 100ms on top of the geographical ping. And it doesn't help that the server tick rate is only 30hz either

Still this wouldn’t be an issue for any other community but the isle’s community is special, so instead of being smart and making huge packs to further boost the chances of success in hunts, they cannibalize each other
@@misterionorman9764 Its not just randos. Its people who are in clans and groups and discord together... 'raptor main' clans who play the highest skill dino at the highest skill level, but then also group and play the game like its a pvp game so their always bored.
They dont play other things cause they want to hunt and cant stand low mobility and not being able to jump....
Theyre 'those people'....
And theres nothing necessarily wrong with them, per say....
But Dondi is a wish he was one of them guy, so the game wildly caters to them, so.... Them being OP(ish... very fast, very good stam even 1v1....requires skill... or just mob numbers... they do both) and bored is essentially just a huge part of the map and overall gameplay experience
i mean you should have heard the other dibble near the cliff it was quite loud. By that time you should have been gone knowing you cant take 2 adult dibbles.

Omni and troodon are meant to hunt big targets and never get hit, if they get hit, then they were never real omni or troo players anyways. Much harder to try and pounce a small tiny thing zigzagging as well as trying to find it so you can pounce it... Stego and dibble on the other hand, very easy big targets, just juke the hits and keep pestering them until they fall.
@@loserorangeorvoremonster8047you say that as if troodon and raptor don’t suffer from the occurring unstable server issues. Troodon has never been able to hunt anything larger than pachy simply because of terrain usage
@@FatPigeon-6 well, you are correct but pretty much everything gets f*cked in the *ss with funny goofy silly lag, even more so smaller more fragile dinosaurs (like aforementioned raptor, troo and other small herbs and carns)
All of this was literally heart wrenching cause this happens to me everytime I play no joke 😂
Me personally, I wouldn't go for baiting attacks on a hard desynced update. Classic The Isle moment, one step forward, two steps back. Them shit's funny as fuck tho.

Yeah, I feel like every time I play Troodon, I am getting killed across the street. I know, I know...lag hits, or something. Feels more like the devs just make troodon die from scared-to-death.
Raptors jumping on your tail like that and not being able to easily smash them against the tree is so annoying

To be fair if you see a group of your own species and without waiting for an answer or call or anything, then just deciding four yourself that you are part of them, dont wonder that some of them dont wanna have another group member. I get that its annoying when cannis come and hunt you. But if you come to them, eat THEIR food without even asking for permission or waiting for an answer. Dont be surprised, not everybody is supposed to like u. Just an advice from a 1000+ hours the isle player :)

I tried path on xbox but it felt more like an mmo It just felt weird that dinosaurs had "quests" Id rather it be more realistic time based growth

Update to the game engine in next update, apparently may improve a few things
I really love playing herra now just got into it but its unplayable I wish they would just remove it till they fix the crash issue (if its still the reason)
5:40 1, standing quick like that should take at minimum 5-10% stamina imo because its crazy that takes no stamina to rush to stand that fast
2, how did that stego turn around that fast or even hit you, especially WHILE turning? You can see his tail in the end which means he turned around all the way. How?!
yep, had to stop playing the HT as well the lag is absolutely awful. combine with the raptors buggy pounce mechanic, its actually unplayable.

@@Doqi Yes.. It is like playing a game with keyboard under your hands and screen in different room. You do not see what is really happening on the server. Had one situation recently where my hits on body were missing all the time, while being stuck in a player :D. Meanwhile the player was altattacking into every possible directions and the ones that were seemingly the furthest from my dino were basically body hits. Adolescent carno was almost able to kill my adult dilo because of that. Was so pissed that I simply logged right after. There are but 2 servers in current HT where I can play with okay-ish performance, one has always broken queue and the other one is No AI and players dont play them at all.
I have such a love hate relationship with this game :')

No, they werent chinese its just a streamer who does a community day every once and awhile and some of the not so friendly decided to canni the omnis that look different!
@@alexburke1310 They probably thought i was sus then, because they killed me. I was in a group with them and having a good time when all of a sudden 1 omni teleports on to me and insta-kills me.
(Yes, like that: tp'ed onto me, and got killed instantly, i was full hp 😅)

@@alexburke1310 The skin that every omni had was green-ish. Regardless of which pack it was, i did die by one omni that used some like hack or exploit. Rest of the omni's, to my knowledge didn't do anything or had anything exploit related.

the huge pack of raptors at highlands was a community day thing, everyone there had the exact same skin and pretty much any raptor that wasnt one of us died, so thats why u got brutally murdered lol
That's a lame excuse to be a cannibal tbh, especially if you're playing a species that's supposed to be played in groups and has a press one button to kill ability. Any other species apart from omni/troodon it could've been "acceptable". At least I took one of those mfs with me

@@Treehugger2820 i have played it for like 2000 hours since 2017. I wish the game will get better, but i'm watching it because its good to see someone showing how buggy and bad the game is, so sometime the devs will finally undestand it and do something actually good
