  • Arm Growth Plateau? KETTLEBELL HAMMER CURLS for BIGGER BICEPS & FOREARMS!!
    Hammer curls with a kettlebell instead of a dumbbell to trigger new arm growth and hit your biceps and forearm at the same time.
    In addition to hitting your biceps and brachialis you’ll also work your brachioradialis with kettlebell hammer curls.
    Whether you want to spice up your arm workout with a new arm exercise or your arm growth has reached a plateau, include kettlebell hammer curls in your arm workout routine to hit your arms in a new way and trigger new arm growth. Grow a bigger biceps while working your forearms hard at the same time!

    *By functional I mean you can comfortably swing or carry it **bestgym.equipment** around as one would expect of a kettlebell weight. By versatile I mean the protective coating does not prevent attaching magnetic micro-plates to increase the weight, so, for example, a 35 pound kettlebell can be increased by up to 5 pounds in weight or possibly a bit more by attaching magnetic micro-plates.*

    Very simple and straightforward. Thank you, this is more effective as it makes my whole arm work. Not just biceps. Never thought this would be so effective. I can already see the impact it will have. From now on I will use this exercise

    I was doing overhead kettlebell presses and they were murder on my shoulders. These are a much better option. I can use isolation machines for my shoulders and deltoids.

    Very good video. Do you think it's possible to do it one-handed with a lighter kettlebell? It would be interesting to demonstrate if this is possible for unilateral work and therefore 100% per arm. Because we know that working with 2 arms means that you always involuntarily put more force on the stronger arm.

    The plateau where you got this word sounds beautiful. In the disease there are the words crisis, i.e. the rise of the disease, the decline of the disease and remission, weakening or decrease. Those. the process of movement of disease or recovery. Plateau geographical designation (fr. The plateau does not have movement because it is a plane. displacement due to the shift of tectonic plates. We are constantly on it on the plateau. It does not rise and fall. I did not understand. • @thesweat9748
    @thesweat9748 5 лет назад

    How many sets?

    • @BuffBody
      @BuffBody  5 лет назад +1

      It really depends on where you implement the curls in your workout and how much workload you can handle, to still enjoy maximum muscle protein synthesis and have fully regenerated for your next workout.
      Myself, I stick to lower volume and more intensive sets. In my current plan I use them as a finisher after snatch, bent over row, and chest supported rows. So I just perform 2 sets of 12 reps, and then a last set of 7 inclined standing with shoulders against the wall, 7 standing straight, and 7 inclined forward. But again, it really depends on where you implement them in the plan.

    • @thesweat9748
      @thesweat9748 5 лет назад

      Buff Body thanks mate. But I’m trying to do a workout for a home plan. So anything with the kettlebell that build arms is good? So how many reps would you recommend and any other exercises you recommend with the kettlebell for bigger arms?

    • @BuffBody
      @BuffBody  5 лет назад +2

      @@thesweat9748 For the biceps I would definitely recommend heavy single arm rows. And after, for the curls, if you use it as a main exercise you’re generally looking at 4-6 sets of 8-12 reps, depending on the weight you are using and the reps you can handle, marking sure that your last rep is always hard to reach. Even go to failure to your last set. And you might want to top it off with a finisher drop set or a rest-pause set or slow eccentrics.

    Kettlebell Crush Curls are Better

    • @BuffBody
      @BuffBody  5 лет назад

      Crush curl is a great exercise indeed! But since our plans are usually split up into push/pull/(leg) days, we incorporate the curls into the pull days, as bicep finishers. The crush curl involves a lot of pec activation (adduction), so they interfere with that approach, since we work pecs on a push day together with triceps, to let each muscle group recover at least one day.
      If you’re doing antagonist training or upper/lower body split, the crush curl is a good alternative though.
