    Thank you for making an episode showcasing Holst Garn. I've recently purchased Holts Garn Super Sift when it was on sale and I've been wondering about the type of patterns would suit and how the finished fabric turned out after washing. I just subscribed, I'm Barbara Radzevicius Bondi Crafter on RUclips. Best wishes from Australia 🧶🧶.

    Thank you so much for the Holst review! I'm currently knitting a sweater in Tides, and I'm not sure how it's going to turn out. But your review is so helpful because I'd been struggling to find the perfect colors for a S. West shawl and Holst has so many colorways, so I can order several because they're so inexpensive and see if they're just right.

    OMG you knit so fast. It takes me months to knit one. Do you watch Candy from Blue eyed style? She does beautiful crochet colorwork sweaters (from B.C.)

      No I don't watch Candy. I'll look her up. I don't really knit very fast, but I do spend a lot of time. Thanks for watching Louise.

    Thanks for the Holst review. I just sent for 3 cones of the supersoft, plus I am working on a supersoft sweater right now, so it is good to see how the holst works up.

      I love Holst, but for crochet, I would definitely use two strands. Way to thin. But I love knitting with it!

    Rosie all your sweaters are magnificent! Although I have done a bit of knitting, it's just basic. I wish I had developed it more. The finished items are much more delicate han crochet. Thanks for all the information about your experience.

    I enjoyed seeing all your beautiful projects. You do such a good job at modifying patterns to fit you. I, too, had some tightening at the colorwork section across the chest area of my Unbearable Hoodie and should have gone up a needle size in that section. Fortunately, blocking helped quite a bit. Thank you for all the inspiration for future knits and crochet. I love your crochet cover-up dress. Fantastic! 😊

    Awww congrats grandma & grandpa she’s adorable. Sounds like fun trips planned. Glad your C was mild and cleared up quickly. (Can’t remember all the names of patterns and makes but I’ll try) Love the last colorwork pattern you want to make last, I’d like to do that one myself. All your makes are spectacular, the oat and maroon colored tops look amazing! Look nice and light and I like how the oat colored one is almost see through but not so it looks like a great summer top. The denim colorwork is gorgeous! It turned out really nice, I like a heathered look in my yarns too, yeah silk isn’t as soft as most people think, it really is a stiffer feel, but the breathability should make your top a perfect fall weather top.
    I’m like you if I make a mistake I’ll just keep making that same mistake to make it appear fine. I would’ve never known, bet the designer wouldn’t have really spotted it either.
    I do have a pattern it’s free, it’s called “The Perfect Tee”. Can’t remember who designed it, but it comes up with a Google search. It’s a easy, fun mindless knit in a dk weight (she used Coboo) which that pretty pink mistaken size yarn would look awesome with. (She has a crochet and a knit version) like I said a great mindless knit so you can keep up with “The Offer”. 😉. I’ve seen the ads for that series and I’m thinking about watching it too, The Godfather was one of my favs as well.
    Have a great weekend. TTFN! 💚

      Hey there. Nice to hear from you. Thanks for your comments. I’m going to check out the perfect tee! The pink DK is nice but I hate when I increase you can really see the stitches. I’ve taken it apart three time. Hope you are good.

    • @TwistedStitchesShow
      @TwistedStitchesShow 2 года назад

      @@nonnasstitchingloungewithr7281 oh man! Have you done the increases using picking up the stitch below (either before or after depending on which lean you want) that increase style seems to be the least noticeable?
      I’m doing ok. 💚

    • @nonnasstitchingloungewithr7281
      @nonnasstitchingloungewithr7281  2 года назад

      I have tried that method too. I think it depends on the yarn as to whether you can see it. I have tried about four different patterns with the pink yarn, and I'm just not feeling it!

I have a granddaughter due October 31st so I'm busy with things for her too and getting Christmas items done earlier so we can go to Philadelphia to help them with their son and anything else they need. Happy you had a good time in Mexico, sorry you got Covid. Didn't you have to test before entering Canada on your way home? Prayers, love and hugs my dear friend. 🙏💜🤗
