Did you know female llamas are induced ovulators (unlike other mammals with heat cycles which are called spontaneous ovulators) and can not be housed with male llamas. This video was made to educationally show the way llamas are introduced to intact males to be bred. We are very excited to welcome 4-6 baby llamas (crias) in September 2021!
