Great review! I love the color on these. At this price range though, there’s too many competitors for these to be worth it. Maybe if they were like 30 bucks cheaper.
@@angelomanzi9272 Rival RB10 and Cleto Reyes. Disclaimer is that I actually tried those with a punching bag and not other brands (i.e. Winning, Grants, or Necale/Gil)
subbed a couple of days ago and been binge watching your videos. I started boxing like a month ago and will buy some gloves next week. There is only one store in my city that sells them and don't have many options, also, I currently have a small budget lol, I can choose between adidas speed 50 or 75 or even hybrid, or some everlast pro style. When I gain experience and as mexican I plan to buy cleto reyes, but from those options, which ones do you recommed? Amazing channel btw, wishing you the best
Awesome! I've been waiting for this video since the gloves came out. Thanks for the great review! The wrinkling seems a little off - considering that so many other gloves that you've reviewed doesn't have this issue, even with synthetic leather.
Hi bro I just got the fly x groin guard and it’s just the best groin guard that I ever used I used the winning and the rival and the fly x is just the most comfortable and in a good price point you should really do a review on him!
I just bought it today. I got the red as I like the old school retro style. Everlast is having a 30% off veterans day sale today so I paid $69.99. R10 for another 2.5%. Based on your recommendation, I got a couple Venum pairs (Khaki/Black, Black/Brown "old school leather design"
Hey Carlo, Do thank your review always gave me helps. I would like to ask you that how about feeling of thumb? Is that good? Or any uncomfortable? Thanks in advance.
Hey man, love the content. Question. I tried the 14 oz synthetic version and they were a little tight. I'm 5'8 140. I was wondering If the actual leather is a different fit or if I should get the 16 oz.
Can you tell the difference between the synthetic and the real leather version? I wanna buy the real leather pair but I can’t tell the difference between them and am scared of getting scammed tbh 😅
The first big noticeable difference between the leather and synthetic would be the the leather glove has leather palm and the synthetic has the mesh nylon palm. Just compare the picture difference between the two on Amazon and you will see. I am considering paying the extra for the leather but debating whether it is worth to pay nearly double over the synthetic. Plus you got quad layer vs five layer foam difference. Update: I bought the leather version and I have been very happy with it.
I have winning, fly, cleto etc. IMO Adidas adispeed are amazing sparing gloves for the money. I bought mine from the title website on sale but full price is still a great value
@@javierdavalos350 I did say Winning if you had a bit more money and Cletos aren't to shabby, in my country, I bought them for $300 AUD. there's also Fairtex that's a bit over $100 if that's the person maximum budget. I try to avoid everlast and other brands like that since they don't last long and have injured my knuckles a few times

You can always catch discounts on the everlast website
@@Medium-RareSteak I rather use that discount on the MX line
What do you guys believe the best gloves to be for heavy bag training exclusively? Or your top two choices if it’s close. Also, 16oz gloves right?
@@angelomanzi9272 16oz bag gloves?

👍🏼🥊
I noticed when using these gloves hitting the bag doesn’t feel flush. Not super comfy when i make contact
i like these, but the finger compartment felt too small for my fingers. i have medium/large size hands for reference
👍🏼🥊
Hey man
Will you be reviewing muay thai gear in the future I.e pads, shin guards etc
No, not unless I start doing Muay Thai, otherwise pointless if I don’t use it before I review it

Did you watch the video?
This colour way looks amazing. Nice review :)
Thanks
They just had a big sale on their site on the P1’s so I am expecting the P2’s shortly.

@@csquaredboxing live on their site now. Including the Easter color lol
I'm gonna buy these instead of the budget version. Do they fit bigger or smaller than the cheaper ones?
How they holding up?

I’d get 16
What's the difference between it and the pro version though? 🤔
Either that glove was cut from the belly part of the hide or its a really thin leather
Good to know thanks
Can you review the ringside G2 Pro training gloves please? I heard good things about them.
I’ll check them out
Would you get these or laced since the wrist system is little different
The thumb piping is like pressing into my hand alot , you think itll loosen up the more i use the glove ?
Do you think these gloves will last a while. I have the og power locks and after about 2 months of use they are falling apart.
Better than the originals for sure
I had really bad knuckle and thumb pain in the first Powerlocks. So bad I thought I was going to break my thumb hitting mitts! Are these any better?
The padding is denser so it should offer better protrction
Would that D-Ring be a problem for sparring?
No, it’s covered and padded pretty well

Is Powerlock 2.0 different than Powelock2? Powerlock2 is showing up as $64.99.
Yeah one is leather one is synthetic
I went to the website and they are avaialable.
👍🏼🥊
Isn’t the hand compartment a little small though? When I try use hand wraps it’s almost impossible to put on the glove without struggling.
Depends on your hand size
Are these sparring gloves ?
Training gloves
@@csquaredboxing thanks !
That wrinkling would drive me nuts lol.
Lol
What instrumental song r u playing in the background lol
These or the Everlast Elite (not the cheap, Pro Style one) Training gloves?Thank you!
Elite
What has better wrist support these or the lace up versions?
Lace ups
Is powerlock2 and 2.0 are the same??? Whixh one is beterr tho
Yes
Would you change size to 14?!
I usually fit the same size that you use.
But I'm afraid to get this in 16Oz instead of 14Oz and the gloves be too loose.
What do you think?
Does anyone know some good affordable sparring gloves
Rival sparring glove they are $80
cletos, hayabusa, fairtex are good quality for what you get. Winning (japanese boxing brand) if you have a bit more money.
@@trcs3079 I wouldn’t consider winning or cletos “affordable” lol
