I feed my family of 5 (myself, big-hubby-man, 13 year old, 8 year old, and 7 year old [all the boys eat like they have two buttholes apiece]) for $500-$550/month and I do it in ONE shopping trip! Planning, planning, planning, planning. I try to can a lot of what we grow for preps...unfortunately I usually find the boys dumping my canned chicken breast into a bowl to make chicken salad after the fact. (We slaughter our own birds). I would love to reduce my bill and will be hopping on over to Mavis' channel. Thank you for all of your input!
