I've ridden on a motorcycle 1 time, after my brother bought one. After he had a bad accident a few months later, never wanted to try it again. Today, I'm surprised at how many videos I watch now. Primarily because of BC. And a YT suggested video from Two Wheels Big Life. Now you're joining that exclusive club. 😊 Looking forward to your upcoming videos, as well. Godspeed as you venture forth.
Thanks! I still only have a permit and need to take a riding test before I get my permanent license. I want to get a little more proficient with the bike before I take the test. It's easy though, but I still want more practice and tune the bike to my liking 😄
This one was converted to a cafe racer, but it's not very comfortable with the low handlebars so I raised them up with the modified drag bars. The stock ones are a bit higher.
@@saltyshellback My last ride was just running seasoned fuel into carbs for winter. Man looking right into me eyes turned infront of me. I had to lay bike down. He drove away... I was beyond man but said and did nothing but pick it up survey damage and walk it home. Sold it next spring. Now I ride OFFROAD.
I can now officially invite you to prospect for little Debbie’s MC, bacon chapter. Now that we both have motorcycles, we can call each other bro and shake hands with fingerless gloves on! I’ll be sending you a chain for your wallet. In all seriousness, I’m happy for you man. Two wheels gives you a sense of freedom that just doesn’t come from anything else I’ve tried, except trucking.
I love riding, but life had different plans for me the last 30 years. Now I can enjoy the wind and bugs in my face while I still can😁 I'll be shopping for a long leather wallet to go with that chain...unless I can commission you to make one😆
@@hondaatcfreak420 This one was in decent shape. It was garage kept, but was originally in New Jersey, so some corrosion is expected. I'll eventually polish it up some more and do some more cable management on it.
Here in Brazil, I own a Savage 650 1998 since 2004!!! 18 years streets ans roads!!! 180.000 kilometers!!! Perfectly!!
Cool!
Suzuki makes a great bike for sure!

Thanks! I am only going to be a fair weather rider and stick to low traffic days 😄
Morning SaltyShellback, Nice Motorcycle. Perfect for around town riding. Ride Safe.

Ninja on a Suzuuukkkiiii !!! How many hours of sleep lost sitting, staring at it in the garage?
Next up nos and wheelie bar! Cowbell!
😄 Didn't lose any sleep staring at it, but did spend a lot of time putting the new bars on it and rerouting everything.
Idling, it sounds like a whirley bird off in the distance. Thats kinda cool👍🍻 cool project!
Definitely a project bike😄 I still have to do some more wiring work and might get a new speedometer 😁
hmmm, aside from seeing a shadow projected onto the road for 2 seconds I didn't get to see you riding the bike!
Cuz I'm a NINJA! 😅
Beautiful bike! Looks like a lot of fun, but I agree, Cafe Bars are uncomfortable, even if they look cool
The cafe bars are fun for about 5 minutes. Even less the older you get 😄
That's a cool little beast, reminds me of the late 70's RD's

@@saltyshellback it looks cool as hell, love the Cafe look, also a fan of bobbers
Cool project! Be careful out there, everyone is looking at their cell phone
Thanks! I am only gonna ride when most people are off the roads and the sun is out 😄
Nice project and a great bike.
Thanks! It keeps my mind occupied 😄
I liked your zooming by footage
I'm speedy 😄
Sweet ride. Nice you can customize it yourself and save the money for peanut butter cream pies. TFS brother 🇺🇸
And fruit pies 😋
I had a 1965 Honda 150 Twin back in the day!!
I was looking for a Honda Rebel 500, but people were wanting crazy money for them.
@@saltyshellback My last was a Virago 750. Liked that bike allot.
Far far too congested here. Ill not ride in my state.
@@cw2a I live in a relatively small town and you can see in this vid how little traffic there in on a Sunday 😄

@@cw2a I plan to run the sport cam every time I ride to catch any idiots 😄
Nice. Can’t wait to go riding. Ohm’s Law. KTF.
Me too! I'll have to rig up a gun rack so we can go hog hunting 😁
Looks awesome brother. I want to get some sort of motorcycle for the spring
This thing is a rocket! I haven't put it through it's paces yet, but it will pull the front wheel like nothing 😄
Good looking bike. Café bars are for the fools that think they are Mr. Ricky Racer...like ebomey =)
😄 Yup!
That is a very interesting ride.
I never heard of this motorcycle until my coworker told me about it. Apparently it's a very popular beginner cruiser bike.
Cool ride bro🏍️
Thanks!
Two wheeled fun!
Even more fun neked 😄
Sweet bike....Good stuff....
Thanks!
keep the clip ons, closer to the ground lest ye fall off. Ride like they can't see you! ;-)
Cuz I'm a ninjer!😎
Sweet little bike.
For sure 😁
Pretty cool Brother
Thanks!
Obviously you need to get a sidecar to haul some snacks on the go. :)
For sure! 😋

sounds like some plans!!
Yup! 😁
Nice Bike!
Thanks! It's just gonna be a Sunday rider for now 😄
Cool bike! No riding Neked Salty!
No guarantees 😄
I love it.....
It's the biggest bike I own up to this point.
It's a THUMPER =))
I need to get it on the highway and open it up! 😁
nice bike dont be eating them honey buns on that thing lol.
I'll have to make a rig where I can eat and ride at the same time 😋
Sweet..... Ya gonna Ride It Neeeeeeked???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maybe at night 😉
Can always do bobber style easy if you don't want to rock cafe
It was mainly the height of the bars that were uncomfortable. I do like the bobber look, but I'm cheap so I want to keep the mods to a minimum 😁
7:59 Score!
You can't see in the video, but I had 2 pallets strapped to my back when I got home 😄
shiny
I still need to give it a wax job 😁
Oil change plug run little marvel mystery oil in the tank
Cool, I'll check it out!
Every savage I've seen has poor up keep
