The only two 2Ks that had pure window were 2K19 and 24, where we can green ridiculous smothered shots or half court fades. 2K23 and 22 are definition of rng shooting

i can assure you that everything gets calculated as soon as you release the ball. Why would 2k "need" an extra 2 seconds to calculate wether your shot goes in or not. This doesn't make any sense from a coding perspective. Mike said it himself, every shot has different timing, but the visual cue always stays the same.

I feel like you are unintentionally spreading misinformation in this video, especially with the title. There’s no RNG in shooting in 2K25; the simple fact is that there’s a pattern (a pattern cannot be random because it’s a pattern). You can green every shot you take. The “shots” that rattle mean you barely hit the edge of the green window when you timed your jump shot. In contrast, when you swished it, you timed it comfortably within the green window. As far as the shot feedback thing… there may possibly be something there but there are people shooting above 55% with simple so its most likely placebo 🤷🏽♂️
The shot is make or miss as soon as it leaves your hand. The delay feedback is just so we keep playing. All the calculations are done when you release the shot button

Ive been using simple feedback because I was thinking i want less time in between knowing because the more time passes is more time to process and could decide actually u timed it wrong u missed Im shooting the highest percentage on my pro am team but am taking the fewest number of shots averaging about 11 a game but shooting 57% from 3 and 70% from the field
I mean, there was 2ks without delayed feedback and the ball would literally bounce mid air to go in. I feel like if there were issues with calculating ball trajectory this would occur.
I also don’t think make % is rng. Possibly the timing variables are random but if you go to the pro am arena you will get different shot timings that are slower or faster. Seems to be three timings slow normal fast. People on PC should be able to find something correlated with calculating shot speed.
Shooting 60% avg 20ppg almost 10 assist a game. 120 rec games. Just gotta q up this year guys 🤷🏻♂️ there’s a lot going on with dips and hitches when you shoot this year. So you gotta really look. And it’s all fast
