I enjoyed your explore thanks Paul of what were deemed modern homes back in the 40s-60s, with the pink and blue bathrooms. More homes sadly being demolished that will remain in the memories of those that once lived in them.
The First house seems to have reached the end of its run. Shame about the olive trees, takes a while for them to produce. The following three are so mid Century modern, they could be sets for Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 Movie. I would guess they were all built prior to cable telly. Hope the re-development spares some of those lovely Palms.Cheers.
The bathroom in the second house AH-MAZE-ING. Could I ask if you're able to spend a few extra seconds on the glass doors please. The first house had a beautiful front door. Thanks Paul 🙏
Good morning Paul, great video ,I adore those original bathrooms , seen so many bathrooms but a loo is hard to see so beautiful I'm like you love all that vintage beautiful coloi combination so original and well made and also loved those olive trees I wish I could harvest those olives , thankyou again Paul have a great week 🤗 from a Frenchy in Australia 🇫🇷🇦🇺 always watching 👍
Ahh Classic homes always love them no matter what condition they are in shame about the tagging in house one. Love the bathroom colour in house two my favourite, nice facades they would have all made great renovation projects shame they are getting knocked over. Very excited for next week’s documentary can’t wait. Thank you soo much again. Your work is soo wonderful. :-) :-)
Some great finds, that 1st one left to rack and ruin will surly be knocked over that bathroom at 2133 looks so cool and the one at 2718 can still see its beauty although being trashed, the 'Old school' surly loved their colours. Cheers for documenting MM :)
What awsome finds Paul the first one I thought maybe a crime scene with the painted body on the ground did you look back Lol. And those apples did you pick some for your grandmother so she could make you some apple pies. I remember my nanna making us apple pies as kids and we loved her German Cooking. Loving that old oven how cool is that, I actually liked the bathroom in the last video the burgundy tiles looked pretty good overall this last one was the best thanks mate sharing.
G’Day Paul, that first place was a dirty little hobble, the second place in Clearview has a massive old school oven, don’t see many of them around Adelaide. Classic ol’ bathroom too! On the third place that musk pink bathroom is another blast from the past, I bet that big copper hot water tank is worth dropping down through the ceiling! Cheers mate, another great explore! 😎👍
Spoilt today....Thank You. What sad & sorry state the 1st house is in. Love the stove in the 2nd house and even the kitchen, the bathroom was gorgeous 😍. Shame you missed getting to the 3rd house before demo started, the bathroom & kitchen may have been good. There seems to be alot of redevelopment over (SA)?
Thanks, Urbex Indigo for sharing another wonderful explore of these beautiful homes that you took your time to produce you did a great job, my friend, doing this explore I always enjoy the youtube channel I am from the U.S.A and I will always support your channel by watching your videos I can't wait to see you're next exploring you always make some awesome videos of what you explore and I can't wait to see what you are going to do next and God Bless and thanks again.

"... used to sigh at the end of each day, dear ..." I am very much a fan of straight lines ... the curved corners of the sixties convey a special something, though! Thanks for sharing, Paul. ❤ ❤ ✌
I really liked the stone facade and of course that origanal bathroom!! These homes would have been very well loved at some point. Unfortunately original owners go, life goes on......then unkept for many years always results in this😞 Cheers! for the walk through. Looking forward for the next upload!
Great video Paul. I especially liked the colors in the bathrooms. My folks had pink bathroom sinks with gray and black trim on the walls. Thank you for doing these videos.
1st house loo would set off my claustraphobia...was so long and narrow 🙈I really liked the green tiling in the bathroom and green sink and also the floor tiles had such a 1930s feel to it.i prefer the green to the pink sinks in the old bathrooms. This first house looks like it's given up...ready to be demolished and buried ..it just felt sad and tired. 2nd house i loved the tiles in the bathroom and the pedestal sink but why pink? Would love it in the green 😃The outside had a sixties easthetic but the bathroom seemed 20s or 50s. Wasnt the pink and black sinks and baths popular on the 50s?
Hello, may I ask you something? Once they push the house up where do they do with all that junk, do they burn it or take it to the land fill, just wanted to know.hope you and family are doing great be bless.
It's such a shame the old houses are being knocked down for the sake of 'progress'. I loved the bathroom with the blue/grey tiles - really gorgeous. The two houses next to each other are not too far from me, it didn't take them long to be flattened and turned in to a Carl's Jr. Burger drive through. The car yard that was next to the houses has also been flattened and is now a Liberty Servo. 🤔👌👍
Maybe the place through was to pass things you got at the store. Somebody can put the food away. I liked the the bathroom with the pink and gray tile on the floor. Everything matched.
Just want to mention that when you bought an appliance back in the fifties or even sixties it would last forever but today you buy a toaster it may last a year or two. Good house finds thank you . Ahh having a olive tree ,would be magnificent in my back yard but our winters that we have it would not survive.
Hey, Paul! Loved that second house. With some loving care, that could have been a really sweet little home again. The kitchen was interesting, but the real star, of course, was that spectacular bathroom! I think it’s the best one we’ve seen yet! Can’t wait for the documentary next week! I truly enjoyed the one you did a few months ago. It sent me down a few rabbit holes and I ended up stuck on the great mystery of what happened to the Beaumont children! After studying maps from your story and digging for more info plus studying more maps to understand the Beaumont disappearance, I swear I could find my way around pretty well if dropped in the middle of the city! 😂 Anyway, looking forward to learning some more.
Great explores! Always nice to see the salvage taking place as we have very little of that done here in the states, we are such a throw away society. Looking forward to the doc.
The first place I could hardley make heads or tails out of the layout and man that place was so neglected, second house was not to bad but lots of wall cracks, the bathrooms in the last 2 places were really something.
Cheers for the videos, Paul. Hot tip: wear a high vis vest, carry a clipboard complete with random papers, pop on a lanyard and no one will quiz you. You’ll be free to wander wherever you want. Cheers.

Hi Paul,,,,,, what happened to your video of abandoned cottage /bungalow in Queenstown ???? that was what i saw of it ( only half way through now is been deleted,,, it was so historic love your history of the place and the folks who lived there,,,,,Ed
Paul, we don't have blue lidded wheelie bins in NSW, would you mind telling me what they would contain please? I grew up with the pink and grey floor tiles, they were like cement but coloured, the bathroom pedestal sink and bath from memory was pink but I think the walls were a plain colour. Nothing sallubrious in our home. Our dining room formed part of the kitchen, which therefore made our kitchen not small or lounge. Being a 50's home it had white venetians in every room with curtains over them. Our original front door was glass but like frosted ripples which you couldn't see through. Originally there was a curtain on it, like the old undertakers had on their carriages, it draped down in puffy layers.
Oh dear! By the time you went through the kitchen to the bathroom I was in tears for this woman. The poor, poor woman, I pray she is happy now in care. Thank you so much for this lovely story, the detail you put in and bringing to life a forgotten past. I loved this video, thanks 😊
I find it so sad when photos get left behind..I am curious though have you ever accidentally ran into someone at an explore? Cheers me and my mum love your videos.
I was watching a video last night that was almost two hours long. You were telling the history of the family of five girls, and the elderly sister who had been living in the house, but had gone to a home. I fell asleep and was going to finish watching this morning, but screen said this video is private. Why? I can’t find it my history list or anywhere. Did you take it down?

Thanks again for sharing.
I like the old sinks and baths as well if I could build a home I would use the old sinks and baths
Just dropping in to say I appreciate your content, Paul!
Oh wow, the bathroom!! I would never think to put grey/light blue and pink together but that worked so well, I loved it.
G'day Paul , I like all of your videos but especially the ones out in the sticks . . 👍😀

Paul good to see the video
Adelaide don,t know much it

Adelaide is sure lovely ,,,

those bungalows fist one a bit mucky???? on the wall
that cooker blokin off the unit came in second-hand i'd guess
serious cracking in walls
Paul makes me wonder when these places were built
what type of survey was done into subsidence
iv watched a fair amount of your videos
and cracking in building structure seem common around building built from 1900s through the century,,,
albeit questionable have they stood the test of time???
if it wasn't for your time n effort we wouldn't be able to see them,,,,,,,,,, thanks Paul by the way that Adelaide blue sky

The first house didn't look too bad until you got inside, then it was disgusting!
Up to the 1960s, thumbs up. After? THUMBS DOWN!!
That’s it.

Bath room stunning
4 houses in a row that's a record , first house a 👎down , second house a 👍👍👍 up , third house a 👎 and the forth house another 👍👍👍up
Those first three bathrooms, swoon 😍 There's no way that what is generally considered an attractive bathroom today will date so well.
Cubby hut. That's a new one for me and I love it! I think that middle part of the wide Chef stove/oven is a griddle.

Very cool. Sure love those colors for the old bathrooms! Stay well. Chris
Would that be squatters belongings left behind in the first home? Is that normally what it is when you see random stuff like clothes?
Hi Lindsay, yes at some point I think that first house had squatters but also people leave things behind when the leave. Cheers for watching :-)
