I am currently learning to play Faded on the launchad MK2 at school and I showed this video to my music teacher who is a DJ and he said u were the best! I really loved this video too! Hey, I got it to work for page one but after I play the first page I can’t continue the song by hitting B. I can only play the first part of the song. Do you know how to fix this?
Is there a way to change the layout for which buttons make the sounds, because It’s gonna be difficult to figure it out

If you look up a cover on RUclips and then slow it down you can little by little learn the song!

Hey, I have a problem with some of the clips. They works when trigger them from the ableton with my mouse (click the one by one in instrument rack), but they are not triggered by my launchpad(I use mini mk3) Instead of playing the clip, some of pads start recording a new clip. Some advice here? Thanks
Hello, i'm not sure exactly what the problem is but I have some things you can try,
1. Try dragging the clips into different section/slots then try playing them on the launchpad,
2. Try to see if you have everything set up and check the input and output (Options at the top, then Preferences)
3.Check online or in Ableton if you need to bind the audio clip to a specific button on the launchpad.
4.Maybe try looking up your problem or contacting someone from the company.
Sorry I wasn't able to help you with your problem, but these might work so give them a try!
@@Uknowitcheetah moving the clip to other pad helps, but I notice that some of the pads have different functions like switching between tabs or start recording and moving the playable clip to one of this wouldn't work. I think it's something from the launchpads settings but I'm not sure, all settings are exactly like in your video in ableton

When I try for right click and click 7 zip it only says add to archive compress and email add to projects

Thanks for your tutorial, however, i found my launchpad mk2 not doing anything after pressing the user 1 button, the red column of lights are still there, any possible reasons for this?
Make sure the project file is for the launchpad version, also make sure on the right of the launchpad (the 8 buttons going down the side) make sure you press the very top one after you press user one. If that doesn’t work please lmk.
@@Uknowitcheetah It doesn't work, i downloaded the right file you put in the description and followed every steps you did, the red lights still lit up and there is still no lights or sound :( By the way, what do you mean by pressing the very top one?
There should be 8 buttons on the right if your launchpad, you gotta press the top one, if that doesn’t work I’m not sure what the problem is, I’m sorry.
Ok so I got my als files on, two lines of red bars on launchpad pro 3, press purple user button, two green lights flashing on launchpad, no sound, nothing happening?

Maybe try a different project file (different song) and make sure that it’s the right type of file for your model launchpad, if you have the model mk2 than make sure the file is for the mk2

When i press user one it stops the music, corrupts files, and crashes my pc. Pls help
help im trying to play faded also but when I play it on my launchpad it only shows the lights but no music. and the red button wont work even though i click on it.
I have 0 music experience but I want one of these so bad because it seems so FUN, I just wanna play songs on it
when i want to add my folder and i click on project files not a single file is showing me
Make sure in your settings you are able to see all file types and make sure your opening the right file, if that doesn’t work try to redownload everything and restart everything, sorry I don’t have an exact answer tho. ;(

Make sure the project file that you are downloading is for the same model launchpad you have, in other words make sure the project file is made for your type of launchpad. Also in this video I use a launchpad mk2 so if you have a different one it may not work.

Hi! I'm not sure what your problem is because i don't have experience with the type of launchpad you have. My advice would be to make sure you have exalacy all the settings the same as mine, and to try to look up another video of your model of launchpad. Try to unplug it and plug it back in, restart your computer and software and make sure its not one of those small problems. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help too much.
the thing when you click it turns red it wont let me turn it on
So I got a launch pad and I saw that none made a cover of the song I want how do I add the song from RUclips and assign the buttons and colors
You would have to assign and time every single button to every beat if the song which I have no idea how to do, I’m sorry.

I am not familiar with using your launchpad on your phone. You might want to try to look up a different video because I’m not sure how to use it on your phone, sorry and goodluck finding an answer :/
Mate, I did everything like u said here, but I don't get any sound in ableton. Like the buttons are working, but the sound won't come out. I use launchpad mk3 mini.
The problem may be the type of launchpad you have, I’m not sure the exact problem but just make sure your output volume and device are correct, in ableton and in windows. If nothing works I’m really sorry, :/

Can I download projects using ableton lite?
You have to download the songs off of a browser, put the download file into the correct folder, then open the folder in ableton and then you will see it in the program, hope this helps. Feel free to ask anymore questions

why arent the lights working on my launchpad mini mk2
Just got my launchpad x today and none of these project files work?

Hello, I’m sorry to tell you but I have no idea how the mk3 mini works. ;( Try looking up a tutorial for just that model. Also try a google search. Sorry I wasn’t able to help.

Try restarting everything you have, if that doesn’t work try another song, and if that doesn’t work the problem might be a setting in the launchpad software, your launchpad or your computer. I’m sorry I couldn’t really help you to much. Best of luck. I’m guessing it’s a problem the the song file tho so really try to download a new song.

Does not work.. User does not glow purple, and when I'm pressing it red lights turn off and that's it. Tho I see some sounds in ableton glowing while I'm pressing on the pad, but I do not hear anything. Not the sound bug I checked..

with the purchase of the launchpad it comes with ableton
when i try to extract it says can not open file as archive
Make sure your are in your downloads folder when you do it or mabye there is a problem with the song

Oh hey, uhh i have a problem, i pressed USER 1, and there are no lights, even though i press all the keys
the sound is there, but no lights...
That means the project you downloaded is for a different model of launchpad u have or the creator did not add lights to it. So maybe try another project and see if that works :)
@@Uknowitcheetah oh ty, but some of them are actually for MK2 and it tells me i do not have MAX for LIVE or something with MAX, any idea how to fix that? [ On Ableton Live 10 Lite ]

Make sure you have a output device like a headset plugged in and selected on your computer. Also make sure you download a project file that works for you model launchpad

Yea that sounds like the problem, you get a code to get Ableton lite for free so try to redeem that.

it doesnt matter what project file i download they wont work, i follow every step and the files are neve complete, just my first day trying to figuer out this madness, i hope it doesnt take months, havent been able to find good help from the internet

@@Uknowitcheetah i have the launchpad mini mk2, when i download project files some don show the lights track. And another problem im having is thet the pad wont do absolutely anything when in user 1 while using a project file
You have to make sure that the project file is for the he mini mk2 if not it won’t work. I just looked it up and im not sure how the mk2 mini works is very different the one I have, therefore you might need to do some research or try to find a different video. Sorry.
Uknowitcheetah i cant find any project file for mk2 mini, i guess i will never be able to play a project file. I feel kind of rickrolled by novation and ableton
I’m really sorry I couldn’t help you. I did some research and it looks like the launchpad you have is more to create music then to play it if that makes any sense. Mabye try contacting novation or the company you got it from. Sorry.

lights are perfect but sound isn't working :(
Make sure you sound output is to the right headset or speakers. Also if that doesn’t work try downloading a different song And make sure the song is for the right model launchpad you have.

The light wont turn on
On my launchpad does not come sound out :(
Make sure your output device is correct. Also make sure you have a song file imported that is made for your model of launchpad you have.

Everything is working but the lights won't work
Make sure when you are using the launchpad the wire or the launchpad does not move and make sure you reboot your computer every now and then while the launchpad is still plugged in. Also make sure you know how to use the software

You shouldn't talk so fast, you're tripping over your own words, and as a person who doesn't have English as a mother language, it's making it rather hard to follow what you're saying. None of this worked for me anyway, I cant extract "here", or open the project. It's pointless.
