I bought such a monitor in Russia for 325 USD, I have it connected to the DP port. I’ll tell you what resolutions are available to me - 2K 165Hz works at 8bit and 10bit. 4K is also available but at 60Hz and you can set it to 8bit and 10bit. The eyes behind the monitor do not get tired, everything is very convenient.

I also noticed some really bad black smearing with the one I just bought. Tried it with freesync on or off and with all three different overdrive settings. None worked. Dark objects on dark background smears like crazy.
