Hey Sam, I really enjoy when you build furniture. This is a simple cabinet, but she looks so sophisticated. The cement top is fantastic.. I like that you left the center open to display all your treasures. I am looking forward to seeing what else you build for the basement.🌺❤️
I missed you Sam!! It was good that you took time for yourself❤ The cabinet turned out beautifully!!!! I love the uniqueness of your top for the cabinets....it looks so good!! You are a very talented and skillful young woman. I appreciate your channel so much 😊
Just finished my patio + pergola + sauna project, now looking into house projects since winter's comin'. Yes I'm "passionate". Oh, jealous of your workbench.
Loved this! And I'm so glad I saw that cable management trick. I have an outlet halfway up the wall also, and thought I was going to need to add a new outlet.
Happy you are back have seen you on RUclips for a long period the last video i watched was the one doing the cupboards and Island in your kichhen wishing you the best in learning your carpentry trade.🎉🎉
What a fantastic project! It looks so custom, and the feathering cement hack has given me some ideas for some of the art projects I've had in mind....never knew that product existed before!
About edge banding, sometimes if i have maple or oak plywood, i buy 3.5 inch 8 foot boards of the same species and just cut 1/8 inch or 1/4 inch strips and use them as edge banding. I even made a jig to safely cut very thin strips. i just glue and clamp them with painter's tape or some weights, sometimes pin nails.
I really enjoy your videos and projects, Sam! I know that not only is the project a lot of work, but creating the videos is hard work too! ❤ So glad you take time for yourself. Also Aero is the absolute best...I mean other than my dogs, ya know. But seriously what a beautiful boy! ❤
Oh Sam. Without your Saturday workshop, I get down. I need you on a Saturday. Doing a volunteer project for a local charity. Building a portable puppet station. I'm just like the labor. A retired cabinet maker did all the design. I wanted to collaborate but - let's just say he can be 'challenging' so I just let him do his thing. I just 'uh hu' when he goes on rants. However, I did stand my ground on using the Domino. I wanted to get it done and there were a lot of joints. He did not take me seriously on it but then he was like 'this is pretty cool'. Ya, no kidding. I might know a thing or two :)
I really like the countertop idea. We made a concrete hearth for our electric fireplace by building a frame and pouring the concrete. I would have rather tried this idea. Do you think it would hold up in a kitchen or bathroom? Do you expect to see settling at the joint?
Hmmm… “reclaim the space in the upstairs bedroom for other things”!! That statement in combination with the slower build makes me think that congratulations are in order!!!! I’ll be here waiting for the next big announcement!
it is so beautiful! I did one like a year ago! fun fact... it could be better... lol.... I did the joins with dowels.. not my best work... lol!!! but I know I want to try again.
Overall a cool build, love the floating look. Curious if the power to lighting is “to code”? I know low-voltage can go in a wall, but a regular power cable with plug generally should not go inside a wall due to possible fire. I’ve run a TV plug kit from bottom to top and would assume it could be reversed.
Well the timing on this was perfect. My husband is converting our old outside hinges to concealed he's never done it before so there was a learning curve. I'd would be so grateful if you could answer a question for us. After getting the first 2 doors on we found that the gap where the cabinet doors meet is larger than it was before. Do you know what causes that? Did we get the wrong size hinge? Our cabinets have a frame and we got a 3/4" overlay. I know it's probably hard to say without seeing everything but any little info you could share would be much appreciated. I love how the cabinet turned out
Without being "misogynistic"; there are very few female makers I'd follow on RUclips. "DYI Haute Couture" (torturing timber in spades) is a standout channel for the cellebration of the delight of "I made this" and to showcase "anyone can make stuff" Sam Raimondi, don't stop doing what you do; you are a delight as you choose to engage us passive viewers on your journey of discoverying and are willing to share it with us, your passive audience. Kudos you

Thank you. 🥹
This is amazing!!! I need to invest in more tools 😂♥️
That’s the beauty of making cabinet boxes, though… You really don’t need anything fancy! 🫶
Looking good, another great job well done ❤

DYI Hauntress? ~ Hay; Halloween's soon (channelling 30 Oct 24)!
😊
Very nice build. I had a question. What is the heat setting on your iron when applying the edge banding?
I’m really wondering if I can use some of that feathering cement to repair the cracks in our concrete table.
My puppy is always stealing towels and clothes to nap or play with.
💖
❤❤❤❤
Do you think part of what is annoying about edge banding is the iron? I hate ironing fabric, so it’s an unpleasant reminder. 😂
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Upgrade your lighting in your videos please. Other than that, enjoyable watch. Thanks for posting.
Well I love sanding drywall if it's you who's doing it 😏
Fellow LI wood worker. Where do you buy your plywood from?
You're going to be one of those pregnant ladies with the cute little belly pooching out the front. LOL!!! Nice build :D
❤️🌹
Beautiful work!...😢...but I thought we were going to be able to see the TV hooked up and on the wall.🤷🏾♀️
👍👍👍💕💕
Hi Sam 💚💚💚☘️☘️☘️🍀🍀🌹🌹🌺🌺🌼🌼🇬🇷
Hay! Your boy stole the show! What's his name?
I'm 5 ft even, I'd like a few inches lol
I would be happy being 5" taller. If only...

"Find a stud"... damn I hate it when they (the studs) go M.I.A. ... = shelves horizontally mounted on the floor. Enough said.
