Hi sir , great explanation ,appreciation and respect for your work. I am building screen with P1.9 can you please recommend and speceific bracket cabinet for those. I am considering flexible P1.9 panels 320mm x 160mm with 128 x 64 pixel.
When you set up your panel in xLights via controller, what was the port #? That is highlighted red wanting me to fill it in. Also I seem to be getting bleed over in my sequences causing all sorts of problems on other props because of my matrix. When I disconnect the matrix from the pi controller in the layout, the sequences work fine again. Any thoughts?
Hi There. The "LED Panels" button should be there. Now, are you trying this on a Kulp controller? If Yes, then this options will not be there. The Kulp is programmed to be a pixel controller only. If you run FPP on a Raspberry PI, the option should be there. Try the following. In the Status/Control Page, go into the FPP Settings. Then go the he "UI" screen. Set the 'User Interface Level to "Advanced" and check the "Display all hardware options/setting". Now go back to the "Channel Output" screen and see if the option is there now. Thanks for watching.
@@trevilights Hi there, did some digging and more or less solved the issue. I was running a Raspberry Pi 5 with FPP that I’d setup over a year ago, and I suspect I loaded a wrong EEPROM which removed the option I needed. I loaded up version 8 and that fixed the issue. I received a single P5 Panel and Colorlight controller board this week for testing. It did take me a LOT of tries to get the Colorlight controller talking to the P5. I was getting a lot of flicker on the panel. After even more digging, and trying every firmware I could find I stumbled across an article on the Australian Christmas Lights forum about a firmware version 11.04 which fixed the flicker and a lot of the Ethernet connection issues. A video I watched on RUclips had a link to this firmware …. This video explains part of the fix, and has links to the firmware - ruclips.net/video/LcTKwyMmJec/видео.html Hope this posts helps some people!
@@trevilightsWow, quick reply back. Thank you for the response. Just took a look at WiredWatts and the prices are pretty reasonable for a couple of these. I appreciate your videos as you always go through all the steps, from start to finish, with pretty easy to follow along explanations. Keep them coming and I hope your lights shine bright this holiday season.

I’m running FPP version 7.4 and I don’t have an option for “LED Panels”.
Is there a plugin I need to install?

Thanks for this video. Would the setup for this with a Kulp controller be any different than with the PI/Falcon set-up would be?
Hi there. The setup in the FPP and xLights will be the same.
