Brandon Campbell Deadlift Video: • Rogue Fitness Deadlift...
Thanks for the shout out dude!
Anytime if it was not for your video I would have been a lot more time at Home Depot
The vertical floor plates is the right way for even distribution of force. Titan probably did it horizontal to avoid a lawsuit.
lol your probably right.
Appreciate your time, Peace!!
Was just wondering if someone would do a review on this product. Good stuff. Not sure if I really need this but it looks impressive.
Thanks man...yeah is not a necessity but great product if you use bands
i like your videos, straightforward and in depth. good stuff.
Thanks man I hope to get back to making them soon
Titan also sells just the deadlift pegs for $60 for all 4 if you build a platform from your local hardware store. FYI
Yeah I seen those that okay.
If you already have a platform built is a great way to go as well
Good vid...I wrestled with should I buy the frame or not and just decided to build my own platform like you said...but then I saw the Titan band pegs were available for 60$ and I just bought those and bolted them so I can still do band work accessories etc. all together I came in at around 200 spent for the finished product. Still cheaper than store bought 😎
Nice man
What do you think about the Titan tiles...? They are two inches thick so don't think I can put the plywood underneath as the rubber tiles are 2 inches thick.. And the frame is 2 inches high. Not sure how to make the 4x4 square middle section out of 3/4 inch plywood... Seems a bit off. Seems like might has well get all the tiles not too bad from Titan... Depending on the quality of the tiles... Im a bit leery of Titan...
Hey wassup, yeah for the tiles you cannot place plywood underneath it will not work, the tiles are most
Likely Compressed rubber so they may be ok, The Frame however is great I have had no issue at all and
the pegs hold up well. I went to my local hardware store had the cuts made their and I cut the stall mats on my own. Overall its a great buy and very affordable, one of Titans better products in my opinion.
Also remember this just sits on the floor and is a frame, I cannot justify paying $400 (rogue) for something that does not do anything but provide me a space.
@@jhogan9759 well if the tiles are 2 inches thick... how do I make a center area out of 4x4 since plywood usually comes in 3/4...?
I Guess I'm A Bit confused if you use the Campbell remedy... I guess you can't use the tiles... since the height would be off. so it seems that with the titan it's with the tiles or not at all...?...
Just To Clarify if get the Titan frame and use stall Mats and Brandon's solution... then the height of the wood and stall mat would be 1.5 inches though the frame is two inches... does that look weird or create any issues? I GUEss if I'm gonna buy the titan one I want to make sure that it looks decent. thanks for your help.
For how little the screws stick out I wonder if taking a power sander to those spots in the board would make for a tight fit without cutting the board down/in half
They do not stick out too far I only cut off I think half an inch to be sure.
But check out Brandon Campbell's Channel I use the measurements that he had and it seemed to work really well for mine.
Hogan Strength Systems yeah I’m sure either work just fine, the OCD in me would just want to lay one solid board for the foundation lol.
Oh you can definitely still lay one solid board. I just found it easier to move down to my basement cutting a board in half
Great video. I was thinking of getting the titan t6 rack. My space is limited. Will the rack stand with out the extension kit?
Thanks man. You will have to do the measurements to get your answer. I started with the T-3 then purchase the extension later. The cool thing is they have a few different options so you'll be able to pick what's best fits your space
Nice vid man, been looking for a review of this. I built my own platform but it’s heavy af. Looking to get this so it can be disassembled when needed. Saw the chessboard, nice, I’m a big chess nut.
My first one was just plywood and stall mats divided into 3 sections
Hogan Strength Systems yeah mine is 6x8 to accommodate my squat stand (ordered a titan x-2). It was two layers of OSB for bottom, stall mat and oak top, also divided in three sections.
I noticed your first layer was two pieces, any specific reason why? I was thinking I’d just have that be one solid piece.
It was just easier for me to transport. Lol
On titan website, it says dimensions is 4x8 but then it says inside demand ion is 94.5”x47.5”. How does that work if frame is 2”x2”. Wouldn’t that make inside dimension 94x46? Can you provide insight there?
The measurements take into account the screws that protrude into the frame.
When I received mine I just did my own measurement and created the platform base off of what I measured.
James I'm thinking about buying the Titan Deadlift Platform with the four rubber mats. Do you know or anyone else knows if A) the weight bounce alot when dropping the deadlift B) Do the rubber mats kill a lot of the noise? Very good video James - Thank You
Hey Paul thanks for watching. From what I heard their is a slight bounce but nothing major. However if your plates have a bounce like the Olympic bumpers then you may have more.
As far as noise goes it's no quite than off the rubber mats.
Overall man it's a great buy I have had no issues
James thank you. Keep up the good work
I'm frankly not handu and don't have a truck otherwise maybe I'd make it... but i see with Brandon's idea... Would NOt be hard to get into a car since not one giant 4x8 piece of plywood.
Homie got a day care/home gym
Has anyone else used the discount code with any luck? It hasn't worked for me.
Look on www.retailmenot.com
It changes sometimes
Thanks. TITANAFF5 worked for the 5% off.
Cool glad it worked
