Yay! I’m glad you enjoyed While You Were Out. It really was an emotional, but informative memoir. I’ve read Cultish previously as well and thought it was a pretty good read. It definitely makes you consider the messaging around you.
Yes! While You Were Out could be triggering. But I also feel like it showed a lot of hope and the love that the family had for each other was really evident. I hope you enjoy when you can get to it. 😊
Thanks for the mention! I agree with your thoughts on Exercised for the most part. I didnt care for the how to / you should do this portion of the book. I was going more for the historical and anthropological apsect and everything. And yeah my exercise habits changes absolutely 0% after reading the book in that regard haha
Thank you! I will do that! I was going to use some small yellow french knots in the rock face for these small flowers that poke up through the rock but it is a great idea to mix in some gray/red/mauve ones as well to get that pebble-y texture. Thank you for the idea!
