Seeing the police deliver the people back to their car is probably a common occurrence. Living in the Forest of Dean I have come across various lost walkers on my walks. Its always good to check the name/location of your carpark. As on several occasions when I've asked where they parked they didn't know the name of the car park or which road it was on. In one instance they were surprised that there was more than one car park! In one occasion I had a family knock on my door asking for directions to the campsite as they had got disoriented and couldn't find it and had been walking for hours and were exhausted. Their faces dropped when I told them it was about 5 miles away. Luckily I was able to bundle them all in my car and take them back to their campsite. Love watching this as it brings back memories of my teenage years when I lived in the New Forest.
Our next series is in the Forest of Dean and we certainly know what you mean when you say it’s easy to get lost. We have a few methods to prevent that happening to us but we often meet people who can’t fit their map to the landscape. Well done for taking them back to their campsite I am sure they never forgot that kindness.
Now watching this wonderful video, I was ahead of the game, whilst you two were in the Pub having your lunch, I was eating my Steak and Ale ( Old Peculiar ) pie and for once you Ken and the lovely Carol were not making me envious, but seriously after watching one of your Video's I just feel so relaxed, calming and articulate as always, thank you for making them, regards to you both.
You mentioned how mesmerising it is to watch waves rolling in as well as flames in an open fire. I was recently given a good suggestion about the latter: film the fire on an iPhone in slow motion. It starts at normal speed then slows down. This is even more mesmerising.
Nice Vlog. Keyhaven at Hurst Castle not the best place to be on a stormy night. This is home turf for me and a regular fishing spot. Thanks for sharing
After watching this the other day, I dropped into Burley Fudge today on my way back home to West Sussex from Devon. Mentioned you and he said thank you,, his sales seem to increase after you mention them! 😃 currently enjoying a slice of Elton Mess Fudge , so thank you too👍🏻😄
Thanks for mentioning us to them. We don’t get or want anything from them for mentioning them but its good to be able to support them. Enjoy the fudge 😁👍
You are very much in my area here, I now live on the edge of the New Forest but was bought up in the town you passed through. You were quite right, it was New Milton.
Different cultures, different customs, different race, different colours, different parts of the world. Watching your vdos make me forget all these differences.. the experience is so mesmerising!

Hello Ken /Carol lovely video even with the weather being a little rough the nature shots were wonderful seeing the grasses blow and the ripples on the water with the swan the lovely donkey, as always you do a capital job you have a great knack of making it flow all so well. All the best Shaun.
Greetings from Ohio! So glad to see you two back on the road again. My partner and I have watched every video on your channel and thoroughly enjoy your content.
Thanks for the great video tour of the New Forest a place I know quite well as my Father's family are from there and I spent many holidays exploring the area.
Hi u 2,lovely video, love watching the two of u enjoying life!!! Thanks for taking us with🙂. Im on tour this weekend as well. Weather over here is great,i will sent some sun to the uk😀👍. Have a lovely time, greetings from germany,Silke👋
Oh yes I know New Milton well enough. My old dad used the Santander bank there and the post office. There's a couple of nice places for Breakfast in New Milton. If you'd have carried on the bottom road you would have come back to Lymington.
@@LifeistooshortCK you actually know the best little towns and villages around the forest. There isn't much else you can say about New Milton, shops cafes, a good doctors practice oh and a bijou department store but it probably got blown out by Covid-19. 👍
Congratulations on the 9k subscribers , this channel will continue to grow due to your engaging relaxed style. Thank you, will have to check out one of those stop overs 😊
It's such a shame they don't allow overnight parking in the New Forest, we see vans in lay byes and tucked away on track, yet the Authorities claim campers leave mess and excrement, even have the Forest Rangers out from 5 am during busy times to move people on. We walk the Forest every day and seldom see evidence.
To be honest the only evidence I’ve ever seen is KFC, McDonald’s and other takeaway rubbish and that is highly unlikely to be dropped by campervanners. I think times are changing because more and more carparks are beginning to cotton on that there is money to be made from campers.

The bizarre British weather at its finest there! Had to laugh at the social class sketch comment - that was a real bruiser parked up next to you wasn’t it! Thanks for a lovely watch, really enjoyed it 👍 All the best to you both.
The railway station sign said New Milton. That wind hit my garden hard. There comes a time when it just pays to ‘up stumps’ and regroup for another expedition, when the dust settles. Regards AJ

They do things like that all the time when not responding to emergency calls. It’s the side of policing people never see 👍
