Thank you once again Carol and Ken, spectacular video. Always makes me hungry. Best wishes Jack.
Thanks for your comment Jack 👍
Oh wow. Thankyou Ken and Carol, your vlog has enabled me to relive my childhood holidays. ❤️🌿😊
That makes me happy. Making videos is all about capturing memories and triggering old ones. I love it when people experience that ❤️
To you both Carol and Ken.. I only discovered you last week.. I'm housebound and bed bound recovering from major surgery .. I have watched many of your videos and you have both aided positively in my recovery process .. I feel like I know you both 😂.. And feel like I have been on many holidays too 😂.. Your videos are most Uplifting .. Bless you both 🙏.. Many Thanks for sharing your adventures with me and everyone else.. I hope one day to get a small van like yours and embark on some adventures with my small dog.. You have helped to enrichen the expectations I have of van life.. Thank you so much from Jackie ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Jackie. Thank you so much for your lovely comment and for watching our videos. We hope you make a speedy recovery and are soon able to set off on some campervan adventures with your dogs 😀
The ponies were stunning! How amazing to see them in the wild
They are the main attraction of the forest. If you love ponies its a magical place. There are also deer, cows and pigs wandering around 👍
Your editing skills along with great content make one want to be where you’ve been. Delightful. Mary
Thanks Mary, I appreciate that!🙂
Another amazingly addictive episode from you guys! Great editing Ken and thank you to both of you for sharing your journey 👍🏻
You are welcome Matt 👍
@@LifeistooshortCK the next instalment can’t come quick enough Ken!
Excellent as always
Thank you so much it brought back many happy memories for me, please keep your grand videos coming okay? 😁
We always like it when our videos do that ❤️
Lovely journey and the music was beautiful also. Glad to see you both out and about and enjoying life ❣️
Thanks Jackie. We are having fun - well at least as much as we can within constraints. Hope all is good with you and the family ❤️

@@garethc1959 thanks for the kind comment ❤️
I love this channel, stunning scenery and wildlife, beautiful birdsong, soothing music. Also good narrative and local information giving me ideas of places to visit.
Thanks Annette ❤️
Very relaxing good one thanks.
Thanks for watching Robert 😊
lovely! Carol is always amazing and could never be a wally! loved the beautiful spring green leaves on the trees. (and the bacon sarnies, of course!) :)
Thank you Sheila. Carol says you are very kind 😊
Love you videos you take. And i didn't realise just how close the needles were from the main land. I love the island know doubt me and my misses will retire there one day in our future.
A few of my colleagues retired to the island and they seem very happy.
Lovely to see New Forest, my home. Live in France and havent been to UK since December 2019. Love this area
A lovely place to call home. Hope you can get back to visit soon 🙂
I particularly enjoyed your adventure… great video.
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for your beautiful videos, music & lovely smiles💕 I’ve always wanted to tour the English countryside & I’d plan it just as you 2 do! Not sure you realize but your hand holding after all these years is inspiring to me & my sweetie 😘 We always hold hands! Can’t wait to see what your summer travels bring in the little red van!
Holding hands is good for the soul. We have always held hands and always will. Good to hear you enjoy it as well ❤️
I so love you both holding hands too.. It warmed my heart even more ❤️❤️❤️
There are so many beautiful adjectives that would describe this video. Simply superb. Many thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and thanks for watching 🙂👍
Ahoy Pirates! :D Awesome adventure you got there! Awww, the cutie-pie ponies! :) And the gorgeous forests! Loved the harbor and you know how I adore anything flying! .) Seaside aye! That Shakespeare tent, my folks, was priceless! XD Thanks as always! Capt.
Thanks Kata. We thought you would enjoy the ponies and donkeys 😁
Nice video lovely part of the world thanks for sharing stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thanks Barry. I see parts of Oz are going back into lockdown. Terrible news. I wonder if we will be doing the same later in the year. Let’s hope we can be rid of this asap.
@@LifeistooshortCK yes Victoria is going into lockdown for 7 days we have been so fortunate here compared to a lot of other places I am in Queensland which is around 1700 Kim’s away from Melbourne so fingers crossed we’ll be good ❤️
@@barrywatler7482 we have our fingers crossed for you 🤞
Such a wonderful transition from the majesty and peace of the forest to the breezy energy of the coast. Beautifully shot and edited. Thank you
Variety is the spice of life, bit of this bit of that 🙂🙄
Again a great video calm an stressless a fine nature take care an injoy
Thanks Jan
That pony galloping towards you had smelt the bacon butties. Then realised there were none to spare so sped off.
I think your right 👍
The New Forest is absolutely my favourite part of England. Reading the novel 'The Children of the New Forest' as a young girl in faraway Australia fuelled my desire to visit that beautiful area and I've been lucky enough to do so several times over the years. I love looking out for the animals as we drive around, especially the donkeys. They are so sweet and shaggy. Your video has shown the New Forest in all its splendour. Due to Covid 19 we have been unable to travel back to the UK for the last couple of years and cannot wait to return. In the meantime we have videos such as yours to enjoy. Thank you so much for your lovely video tour of the New Forest.
Hi Raylee. How wonderful that you were inspired to visit by that book and have been able to do so. Fingers crossed Covid is defeated and we all get to travel further afield once more. It will happen at some point. 👍
You've both such an eye for catching the animals--not everyone has it, you know! 🌞
Looks a great parkup there great video all the best donny
It was a good spot. Thanks Donny 🙂👍
Lovely video thanks. I like that you film a lot of the landscapes and forest etc. So many people who make these videos just point the camera at their face and flap their gums all the video due to too much ego no doubt lol.
We go to these places to see things. Its important to show them as well as you can especially if you want to allow the viewer to feel they are there. Too much flapping gums is a mistake 😁👍
Lovely sunset shots with beautifully tranquil music! - THANK YOU! ☺
Cheers 👍
Love you video I just bought a camper van looking forward to Easter and summer can't wait
Congratulations on getting your campervan. Wishing you fun and safe adventures 😀
Brilliant filming, music and editing. A great channel, laid back and relaxing - thank you.
Thanks for taking the time to say so. It always encourages us to make more 🙂👍
You didn't take the walk to Hurst Castle - probably done it before and its probably closed. Nice video. I've parked for the day where you spent your second night. You have given me food for thought. We might head off down there next week, once the BH is over. Thank you.
Hurst was closed and part of it has fallen into the sea. We have walked it before but not this time. Its a lovely spot to camp, very quiet except for the wind and rain overnight 👍
lovely video guys.
Cheers Michael 👍
beautiful scenery, views,
watching the horses , donkeys in the grass eating .
you took us to beautiful places today , I enjoyed very much, plenty to look at.
thank you for making me happy and less stressful 🙂 enjoy the rest of your day.
Thanks for watching and commenting Moira. Have a great weekend 😀
Such a beautiful area, and wonderful footage taken. The sunset and moon ending was perfect. Looking out at The Needles brough back lovely memories. We sailed from Lymington to IOW and took a boat trip around the needles. Don’t know whether you’ve visited IOW yet, but would definitely recommend. Thanks for another great video 👍
We have been to the IOW with a caravan but not with the camper yet. Its on the list though as its a lovely island. We did that boat trip. Thank the lord it was a calm day. 😁. All the best for your next venture 👍
Beautiful. You guys make me smile. Thank you.
Thanks Ann, your comment makes us smile 👍
Carol, welcome to the Wally club. Great chopper and moon shots and loved seeing the ponies. Maybe a wide neck bottle and pour water from basin into it. But then you have a bottle to carry 🤔
Thanks Mike. I can see what you mean about a bottle being easier to carry. We will be experimenting on our next trip 🙂
Lovely views of the scenery, ponies and other wildlife. Cheers from (now rainy) 🇵🇭! 😊 🍺☔👍🏼
Thanks Kitty. Sorry you are having rain, hope it brightens up again soon ☀️
Another wonderful video - always love the music you put together with the content. Thank you Ken & Carol 👍😊
Thanks for your comment Angie 👍
A beautiful place, very tranquil & relaxing, enjoy this very much, thanks. 👍😁🐴 🌑
Many thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it 🙂👍
Thank you for sharing so much beauty.....
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching 👍🙂
Another great video I was only in the New Forest once before loved it there such a beautiful place also went to the Sammy Miller motorcycle museum its the largest in the world really worth a trip , Sammy is in his late 80s and can be seen most days working in the workshop. Carol the bacon looked so good how I miss good bacon that is one thing you can not buy here in Canada all the bacon here is 95% fat :) Enjoy the rest of the weekend and thanks for a wonderful video. Shaun.
Haven’t heard of the Sammy Miller motorcycle museum, will have to look that up 👍 Didn’t know that about the bacon in Canada no wonder you miss it. Take care 🙂
I had a giggle regarding Waze alerting you to ‘traps’ given your previous employment 🙃
Traffic was the one branch I never did other than a brief attachment during probation. 😁👍
I think ponies don't like red vehicles! Lovely video of the New Forest.
That would explain a lot! Thanks Robert 👍🙂
Great video. Will hopefully make it to the new forest in the summer.
My daughter would be in her element with all the horses running free
@@steveandfamily7248 Carol loves to see the ponies too 🙂
Beautiful! Love the horses!
Danny and Lynn
We always enjoy watching the ponies in the New Forest and especially the newborn foals.
Hi Carol and Ken. That is my idea of a perfect break. Beautiful walks, nature and villages. I haven’t been to the New Forest so thank you for showing it. You certainly get the best out of your LRC. Xx
We recommend a visit to The New Forest. We try and go every year for some lovely walks and to see the wildlife 😀
Some lovely locations, great video. Thanks. AJ
Glad you enjoyed it AJ. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂👍
Ken we have used Waze for a couple of years. It’s great as all of us update live info, roadworks, speed cam areas, police etc. It has always been an accurate system so carry on with it :-) Add what you find, the more use it the better it gets 😁 Andy North Wakes
Totally agree 🌈🍓🧶
We will stick with it, just need to learn how it all works. We like how it warns you of broken down vehicles and you can confirm whether they are still there 👍
Very relaxing! Thank you 😊
Thanks Anne 🙂
Just bk had Nice time visiting famley in new Milton area very nice
Glad you had a good trip Matt 👍🙂
Looking at you ye are both grt Drivers was just checking I first drove in Ireland at the early age of 8 daddy like the old Jameson’s no traffic in them days that kinda gives me a 70 years start Lol Kelp on Trucking follow the white lines

A lovely video again . I used to be just called "John" on RUclips. But now have found how to put a name and picture instead..
Good to see you John. Thanks for watching and your lovely comment 👍

Cheers Thomas 👍
We Were There same Time as you we were in the New Milton Sway area
Make sure to say hello if you ever see us out and about 👋🙂
Beautiful, thanks again for your hard work !!!
Thanks for your support 👍
Nothing like a bacon buttie at any time of the day or night. Some lovely scenery and I noticed all your little jars of spices etc beside your cooker, great idea.
The spice rack is homemade and we put an elastic band around each container to stop them rattling when we’re on the move 🙂
@@LifeistooshortCK Could I just ask if you use plastic plates, bowls etc. We use a cheap set of plates etc but as you know everything rattles when you're on the road, so we are thinking of changing.
We use the Corelle plates and we also use them at home. We only carry 2 of everything so we don’t have very much rattling. We use non slip matting in all the cupboards which helps a lot. We used to use paper plates and bowls but they are not that nice to eat off. 👍
@@LifeistooshortCK Thanks Ken I really appreciate all your help and ideas. Best wishes from Northern Ireland.
Another lovely video, thanks guys.
Thanks Gillian 👍🙂
Lovely it looks amazing there
Worth a visit if you get the chance Paul 👍
Great video again that camera is definitely making a difference .... that last place we have been to an seen how it catches some campers out but a beautiful spot ......
I am liking the new camera. Bit bulky but its fun to use. My editor doesn’t like the odd clip though so that is a bummer at times. Looking forward to your next outing so get cracking 😁👍
@@LifeistooshortCK I have 5 videos in various stages of production just can’t get them over the line lol work an family stuff hoping one next week
Quite literally gaslighted when lights tell you how much gas you have! Beautiful country. You make me want to be retired more and more!
I can recommend retirement provided you have the money and interests to keep you busy 👍
Nice video just great...i enjoyed again 👍

Hi there god content
We really need to get down to that part of the uk , it looks amazing , Some lovely shots there especially of the moon at the end , great video , enjoyed it 👍
Mike & kirsty
Well worth a visit to be honest. Endless daytime park ups and plenty of campsites 👍. Cheers
I used to use Waze and found it good on minor roads but found in towns and cities it didn't give lane guidance, ok for free though
I tried it for a while but switched back. I may give it another go as it’s always improving 👍
Lovely donkeys, last time I saw them was in Ireland. I find them rather cute😊 thanks and have a nice weekend👍
They are normally very docile, we have never seen them act like this before. Have a good weekend 👍🙂
@@LifeistooshortCK cheers
Those three donkeys certainly get about then!
@@taiwaneil they can and do go right into the town if they want. Its bizarre to come out of a shop and have to give way to a donkey 😁
so the real answer to the question "So what do you think about these 'Chicken Burgers' should have been Eric Morcombes "RUBBISH"... Another nice sharing of your travels.. Thanks
Morcombe & Wise comedy gods. I wish we still had them with us. Your right the chicken burgers were RUBBISH 😁
Never been to the new forest Ken and Carol just lovely thanks for sharing time for a bacon sandwich lol
Definitely recommend a visit to the New Forest. Hope you enjoyed your bacon sandwich 🥪 👍😀
Re Your waste water… I have seen another VanLifer uses an Oil Change container. Drain the water, put a cap on the receptical and then dispose at an appropriate location.
I think that is a good solution but our problem is storage when not in use. We are experimenting with a small box in the sink and its working quite well at the moment. Thanks for sharing 👍
Another wonderful video, in an area that I am not greatly familiar with, looks peaceful and a great park up, Lymington looks nice, I think a visit is in order.
You must visit The New Forest, Colin. Lots of lovely walks and villages to explore 👍
@@LifeistooshortCK I will thanks Ken & Carol, take care both of you.
Can't seem to find that pot lid safety strap in your Amazon store. Must be too soon. 😂😉

@@LifeistooshortCK Doing well thanks.

If you ever come to America , we live in North Carolina and we’d love to meet you !❤️
Thanks Jennifer, you’re very kind. We’ll bear that in mind 🙂👍
You'm makin' I 'omesick again. But seriously, is Brock and Bruins' still in Brockenhurst ? We used to go there for lunch before getting tomy old dad's. Had an Autosleepers Duetto back then which I think would be a bit unwieldy these days with all the height restriction barriers everywhere. Those donkeys tend to move about a lot across the scrub areas of the forest as do the ponies as you probably know. I really need to get back down there and recharge for a few days really. Hopefully before the kids break up for Summer holidays because I reckon everywhere is going to be packed this year with everyone holidaying closer to home. I guess you're going to wend your way home via the M27/ A27 route and take in a few more beauty spots as you go. Happy trails as Roy Rodgers used to say on the Saturday morning Pictures.😉👍
Hi Nigel. We remember Brock n Bruin’s, it is now The Buttery cafe and tearoom and we had a meal there a few years ago. I bet you had some great holidays in the Duetto. Hope you get a chance to relive some of those memories soon. Yes, it is a trip along the M27 and A272 to make our way home until the next outing. Take care 🙂
@@LifeistooshortCK I wonder what happened to all the bears and badgers they had dotted around. My two granddaughters used to love them. Might have been a bit to do with me collecting bears as well. I have all the camper bears in a storage box waiting for the day I can get my hands on an NV 200 solo or something of similar size. They've been in the box twelve years but I hope to soon get them on the road again. 🐻
We wish you well in the hunt for the NV200. As a solo there is bags of room and a lot more storage options. May the bears roam again. The wool pillows and bedding is doing a great job. Very little dust in the air now and as you say its very comfortable. 👍
good vid keep up the good vid stay safe
You too Lee, cheers 👍🙂
Loving the pace of your movies, very relaxing and enjoyable. Do you not have a grey water tank? Glad you had good weather for the beach. We were going to spend our first ever night there, classic spot. Hows Carol getting on with her Decathlon shoes?
Hello you two. Hope you are having a good time. A few people say they are relaxing or the RUclips equivalent of Xanax 😁. No grey tank in our van but there soon will be when we get our little box in action. 👍 Forgot to say Carol is loving the shoes ❤️
Love how you not preaching vegetarianism or vegan, like some,
To see deer try the bramble hill hotel. Loads over there
Thanks for the tip. We have not been there before 👍🙂
Lovely video. Great scenery. As you are in the New Forest have you ever ventured to the Isle of Wight? Scenery is beautiful there and lots of places to wild camp, very good for drone shots
Thanks Jac. We have been to the Isle of Wight when we had a caravan. We will definitely go back there one day in a campervan 👍🙂
@@LifeistooshortCK 👍🏻 great will look forward to that video 🙂
I grew up with horses. Had 3 of them. They are nothing but huge greedy vacuum cleaners. They eat 3 times more than a cow.
Nice Bacon Butty. I made that a few days ago and soaked the bread in the bacon fat. That's the true English way.
Those ice creams trucks are GCHQ I reckon..... LOL
Nice Chinook. Tax payers money at work :-)
Haha. Carol always wanted a horse when she was growing up. Good job we don’t have room for one at our house 😅
@@LifeistooshortCK Alas, when you go to Sweden you can buy an over-priced red wooden horse from a gift shop. They eat very little and take up no space at all.
👌👍👊🚙🐎⛺
We were there recently and saw a group of pigs 🤣
Yes, a bit strange seeing pigs just wandering across the road 🐖🐖🐖😀
Have you been to the Canadian War Memorial near Bolderwood? It tells an interesting story of what went on in The New Forest during the Second World War.
Yes we have been to that memorial. I bought a book about the forest during the war. As you say it had quite a big role. 👍
Use a waste oil catchment container for your waste water,
I may well give this a try but we literally have no space to store it when not in use at the moment.
It’s the size of a plastic gallon can, have a look in car accessories, water tight, just carry and tip down drain.
All domestic animals let wild? See a lot of heavy grazed areas. Loved the chalk island shots.
Within the forest and even some of the towns they can wander wherever they like. A few spots are protected by cattle grids. The grass is nibbled as short as it can be 👍. Those is;ands are known as the Needles on the Isle of White.
Hi Ken, Thanks so much for the videos! We're picking up our NV-200 camper in the next few weeks, mostly because of watching your adventures. I was wondering if you knew the make of the phone holder you use? I looked on your amazon page but it didn't appear to be listed. Thanks!
All the best for the pick up of the NV200. If you like it as much as we love ours you will be well pleased. That phone holder can hold up to two phones. Its not available on Amazon and is made by a company called cdslotholder.com
Enjoy your new van and take advantage of it when you can as Ken says life's too short.
@@LifeistooshortCK Great thank you!
I have to ask - if you ever stop at a service station, do you park in the car park or the caravan/Motorhome park? X
Car park these days. Its smaller than many cars. 👍
@@LifeistooshortCK Thank you. 🙂😩
Whereabouts in Norfolk do live
We live in Sussex
I thought Norfolk because you were travelling down a11 on way home
Ahh the beautiful New Forest - we’re lucky enough to live about 20 mins away so are very regular visitors ☺️ I really enjoyed your video and spotted many familiar sights as well as a few new spots to try, so thank you 👍🏻 We’ve also been looking at waste water options. I’m currently using an old green plastic petrol container (we no longer have a petrol vehicle, so it’s conveniently obsolete!). A bit of flexible pipe on the water outlet goes into the neck of it, and it works pretty well, with the advantage that we can screw the lid on and take it away with us if we need to (it actually fits well in one of our cupboards). But the 5 litre capacity is a little limited with 4 of us, so I’m considering another option I saw mentioned on a group, which is a container intended for draining oil. They’re fairly flat and again can be sealed (they also have an indented section around the inlet, which I’m thinking *might* be sufficient when just placed under the outlet, without the need for the bit of pipe). I’ll pop a link below to one example and stop waffling now 😂 Thanks again for another great video 😊

Thanks for the tip 👍. Another viewer has reported good success with an oil drainer so its well worth a try. Sadly we just don’t have the room to store it when not in use. We have the sink box now so will see how that works. Not a runner if there are 4 of you though 😁👍
