Wow....Totally awesome ! Very nice playing, you guys. Thank's for upload. Behin your nice/great/awesome playing, how many hours for learn and "work"...I played banjo solos from 1959 to 1975 but at the same periode, I played trombone, tuba, tenor-banjo, piano, guitar. I has not the time in order to play "awesome" banjo...Since 1960, I'm (bad) professional musician (lead guitars) -and still, worked as music teacher in college (civil servant) from 1973 to 2003...Best wishes from France. Jo

Do you still play? Thanks for telling me about your father. Have you registered him at www.banjoplayersdirectory.com yet? It is part of the American Banjo Museum in Oklahoma City. They are archiving a searchable data base of all known banjo players. Check it out. It's free.
I play banjo. This is incredible sounding, wonderful!!
BRAVO!!! Superb performance by both of you! Awesome improvisation! I am a huge fan of Nathan Hanna but never knew about this video until I just discovered it in a new "Live Performance" Playlist on his channel! You guys are amazing together! This is going into my favorites! I love it!!!
excelentes un conjunto maravilloso
Great!!
Very nice playing, you guys! Wish I had been there.
WOW this is swing style at it's best, following on from the Quintet of the Hot Club of France and Felix Mendelssohn's small group that played within his Hawaiian Orchestra, this sound and style of playing is brilliant.
+Phil Binstead Thank you very much for your kind comments!
Terrific!!!
Marco

YEAH! ty ;)
Fantastic!!
とても楽しい、とても素晴らしい!☺
Thank you!
Don't know if you knew him, but Johnny Ford (Oakford) was my roommate years ago. Other than Perry Bechtal (who I met in Atlanta) Johnny was the finest tenor banjo player I've ever met.
I met Johnny Ford as a kid. He was so kind and encouraging. I remember he told me to use palm aid to help me move faster on the neck. I would love to hear a recording of him. I also was around Perry Bectal. He was pretty amazing. He was playing Plectrum as I recall. Johnny was a tenor guy and that was what I was working on.
Thanks! We did not rehearse this, it just happened.
Mr. Caddick you are great!!! Congratulation to the "young man"😋. From Rome

We did not even rehearse this song. Just did it.
Didn't look like the lad was enjoying paying the banjo but it could just be nerves
Which of the myriad of "acceptable" tunings are you using?
We both use standard tenor tuning of CGDA.
Have you others jazz numbers ?
László Dudás yes, take a look at my channel or just do a search for me on You Tube to see the other tunes I did with other players or alone.
Sadly, Steve Caddick passed away last month.
