Crimson Desert is an upcoming open world action-adventure which will make a global release on both console and PC. An epic of survival with a focus on immersive storytelling and intense action, Crimson Desert follows a group of struggling mercenaries and the many characters who cross their paths in the vast continent of Pywel. This is a world where heroes are made, but not without incredible hardship, pain and perseverance.

If they manage to deliver both exceptional graphics and compelling gameplay, this could potentially become one of the best games of the decade.

@@MrPiPo310 i doubt it,gameplay looks massively improved from what we got a year ago, they wont risk pissing off the customers after they have put this much effort into it, it always seemed they were going for a quality and mass appealing final product, it reminds me of red dead and valhalla among other things, might be a breakout hit, lets hope

The combat looks actually fun like there are actually well done animations for execution and dynamic animations as well. Not just pathetic sword swinging against a wall or sponge

@jasonstatham483 Even the best games with the smoothest framerates have dips in them artard. Even God of War Ragnarok has FR dips. It's actually a miracle that something like this game runs as well as it does. I'd say it's commendable that the devs have worked to make it polished and as smooth as it can look with what they have, and it looks amazing. If our species likes to boast about its "intelligence", how on earth do people like you exist?

They have a game called "Black dessert" as well, it's already out for many years now and an amazing rpg game.

After watching this game's gameplay trailer I realised how any other game haven't perfected the horse movement, that little detail is enough for me to guess that it's going to be a great game

@@GermanTube123 Red dead redemption horse was one of the most annoying aspects of the game. Specifically, calling it and then having to wait for it only to see it's stuck. Or the damn horse getting into fights and in your way

There is something really cool with the graphics, a blend of realism and cell shading which makes the game very immersive.
4:40 I’m all about scale and eye candy with these types of games. If they nail the kind of scale in this shot, with a populated world, along with the great looking combat, it’ll be worth the money.

Black Desert is an amazing concept, plagued with fundamental flaws. I wanted to love the game so much, but it has terrible pacing issues, zero difficulty in PVE, no worthwhile end game content other than PVP, and so much of the world feels like it’s just there with no purpose. I’d keep my expectations just above a simmer on this one.

@@ericyuan9718 So this is Crimson Desert, which is a multiplayer RPG game developed by the people who made Black Desert, which is a massively multiplayer online rpg. The MMO version is not well designed for the reasons I mentioned. The combat system it more satisfying than any other MMO by a long shot, utilizing combos and power ups to string together cool badass attack animations. But the problem is that the enemies barely do any damage, have potato AI, and basically it feels like you’re just mollywhopping cardboard cutouts while doing fetch quests. That’s why I say I’d temper my expectations for Crimson desert.

Eh, final Fantasy is not open world this is totally different, also ff16 bosfights r better than anything here tbh. Bahamut vs ifrit risen is pribably one of the best bossfights ever, i dont think any game came close to that lvl.

@@darthchilde8880nahh dude it's ff16 turned out to be another cheap and dull random game of recent times. The link strikes of FFXV was such a cool feature that had given the 4 characters such personality. In ff16 it feels like sponges.
This is the only game that really caught my attention and made me impressed. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS KIND OF GAME MY WHOLE LIFE! Please release it ASAP and HOPE REALLY THEY PULL THIS OFF as they showed on their showcase.

This is the Final Fantasy XVI that I wanted to see.
Seriously. I havent seen much of ff16 but it looked a bit disappointing. Not bad, ill still probably buy it when it comes to pc, but definitely not as good as i hoped.

me recuerda tantos juegos en uno solo. Es una mezcla de assassins creed valhalla, RDR2, the Witcher 3 , GhostTushima y el gran rpg Skyrim. mis juegos favoritos evolucionado y convertido en uno solo, La verad, x lo visto, las animaciones, el mundo del juego, los enemigos, esa exploracion tiene todo para ser una Obra de Arte y talvez, superar a mi juego favorito RDR 2.
Demasiadas cosas, eso me hace dudar, luego cuando sacan los juegos que se ven así no se parecen en nada a lo enseñado, se ha visto demasiado veces.
Fijate que casi todo son cinemáticas o escenas de luchas que podrían ser simplemente animaciones y al final sale andando solo sin NPCs, me huele a fraude como en the day before o cyberpunk y su mundo tan poblado que luego no existía en la realidad etc etc.
Looks great, but please fix that camera shaking, that is way too intense and way too much... can it be turned off or is it to hide flaws? Also, the obvious lag in the game worries me.
The game looks utterly insane, but you really need to fix the camera shake & the lag. Otherwise it won't be enjoyable to play, no matter how amazing it is.
Excluding the first trailer, the others are a few years old now during development. Notice the first one doesn't have the lags. It's the most recent one. As for heavy shaking and other camera effects, yeah pearl abyss loves those but if it's anything like their other game you can always adjust the intensity or completely turn it off in settings. Even the particle effects.
Anybody know the soundtrack name? Specifically the first 2 minutes or so? They've got "Danger Snow" listed but thats not it

WOOOOOW, i feel as excited as when i first saw the RDR2 trailers back in the day and was like : Ok this is not my kind of universe BUT, the open world looks so good that it's worth a shot.... i feel the same here 😆
Yeah. I never played a witcher world game before, but then I tried out Witcher 3 and was blown away. Even if medieval fantasy games isn't your thing, I recommend anyone who plays games to play games that are exponentially well made despite what world it is.

When I saw this game the first time 2 years ago or so I thought it looks to good to be true. 1 year ago this game came into my mind and I've searched for any new gameplay footage but couldn't find anything and I thought that's it...Today I saw this video and I'm so hyped it looks very interesting and the open world is so dense and the monsters are so cool there are so many different types of monsters it's like all fantasy monster's in one game...this game will be amazing I swear...

For a moment, i got hyped by the amount of nostalgia i felt watching this, seeing the mixture of my favorite games (rdr2, TW3 etc) and amount of happiness that i haven't felt in years watching a digital footage, then reality hit, and i realized by the time this game comes out, i will be in college.
Damn. Might have to get a 4k Card for this game now

DokeV was delayed to 2024 year for Crimson Desert. They've been pretty open about this stuff. It's all there if you do a quick google search. Even if we don't get it this year, I think that's fine. It's a pretty ambitious game.

HOW ??? How is it possible to create a game so diverse ?? With so many gameplay mechanics, environnements in a huge scale and make it all interesting ?? This whole game is such an enigma for me. Looks like it could use some smoothing out and some fps buffs, if they can do that without pulling a trademarked ubisoft style graphical downgrade this is going to be amazing.

It looks fun at first. Then about halfway watching this video, too much screen shake 😆. I hope there will be an option to reduce the screen shake
2:10 can still see immersion breaking texture pop in. This looks like its running on the highest gpu so having that level of popping is not a great look.
Yeah the gameplay looks choppy sometimes too, I'm fine playing at 1080p and I have a 6700 xt so I think I'll be alright. Hopefully they do some more polish. Game seems almost too ambitious

I've been keeping an eye on this since way back when everyone thought it was going to be another MMO. It kinda reminds me of the Skyrim overhaul mods.
There's a lot of cool stuff here obviously, but there's so SO many effects I kinda worry about the performance and visual digestibility of the game. It looks like it's gonna tank frames and be a mess to look at during some points.
Is a first player mode avaiable?
