RLAARLO OMNI TERMINATOR GETS CASTLE MAMBA X 3200KV COMBO

- Video 2 . In this video I paint the body and install the electronics. Castle Mamba X ESC was taken from my Arrma Vortek (BeastMode) and I purchased the 1412/3200KV motor on amazon.
Still awaiting my upgrade parts from rlaarlo.com, I decided to get the motor and esc installed while searching for a servo to fit the housing.
Caught a restock on their amazon store and grabbed a servo, installed it and took the omni out after leaving a high school graduation ceremony. Rolled up on a open lit parking lot 10pm at night and let it rip one time for the one time!
Cant keep the nose down on 100% throttle, its has so much power in it. I would need to change the wheels to go faster.
But again, I am very impressed, its stable, its drives straight no gyro, and handles great. I may buy another one!! IDK.
If your on the fence, I say get off of it and get one. Go after the carbon fiber version!
update* Reached out to Rlaarlo and they gave me new tracking info so I see movement now on my orders!

I bought my first 3 hobby grade rc cars all in the same month in this order Xrt, Omni Terminator, then Sledge...I love my 2 powerful Traxxas vehicles but the Rlaarlo Omni Terminator Carbon Fiber edition is by far my favorite all around vehicle of the 3 especially with a 140 amp hobbywing max10 & hobbywing 2400kv motor on 4s 😮...Rlaarlo makes a great products 4 sure...
Just be prepared to change those diff cups from all that 4s torque. Mine where destroyed after 3 weeks on 4s...😏

Yeah so much power its crazy.. cant keep the nose down. But I have a plan… lmao.
I must have jumped one after another for about 2 dozen packs on a dbl sided ramp . The only thing I noticed wearing quicker than normal is the outdrive cups in the rear , fronts are wearing too but the rears are worse . Mine is still stock . I just need to find some 1/10 diff cups that fit . Also , the tires were wobbly after 2 dozen packs of jumping . Took them off to check the bearings and all was good . Put the tires back on and everything was back to smooth , no wobble . Not sure what happened
Grab the upgraded cups. Hopefully that should fix the issue. Idk. Its all trial and error. Rlaarlo is still in the pending status with me. But im getting more and more impressed as I go. I have no brand loyalty, I like what I like and if it work, it work. But so far so good. They need a 8th or 5th scale basher now. Hopefully they get to enter into my realm of the hobby.

Quick rip noting major. Just wanted to see it run for the first time with this power. Couldn’t keep the nose down on 4s 100% throttle. 75% seems to be the sweet spot maybe 80%. 100% speedrun for sure..
I want another one to be honest. Non CF but buy the unpainted body for it and bash it. 🤣🤣..
Looks good I think I should’ve gotten the roller but I’m happy with the carbon I’m running those stock electronics till something blows then probably putting in a Max10 setup. I have the 17mm wheel kit as well & found some nice Proline wheels that aren’t much bigger then the stock that’s something that I think would hurt it putting on heavier bigger wheels it also effects the way it reacts in the air. But for the price of the Terminator no matter what form you get it is well worth the $. The chassis is very well built look at the arms. 👍💪
You are 100% correct bro. Its a lil tank.. lmao. The amount of people who got it with great reviews out weighs all of the negative aspects of it. They can honestly sell this for $350-400 and it would be worth it. I have a 3s granite, 3s big rock, 3s vortek, 3s senton, 3s typhon and they all cost more than this guy and this omni performs just as good if not better.

Cool paint job! Seems like you're similar to me, in that you don't "bash" yours. $250 is a lot to pay just to destroy something. Your front left wheel looks similar to mine. Mine came out of the box like that and it doesn't drive straight, it kinda veers off to the left. Is there a way to fix that, or shall I exchange it?
Thank you.. I have no issues, I just needed to adjust the turnbuckles to fix the camber and toe. Good to go now..

How at the rear and front drive cups? Cause so far everyone's had them completely eaten up....
This my first run. No issues yet. I think it comes from the jumping and the angle of the axles not being horizontal when landing. I adjusted the droop screws on mine. It sits lower and the axles are not as angled. But we will see . I ordered the upgraded diff cups so hopefully i will never have an issue. Everything is on a trail run right now. So far so good.
Heard the body on the $200 version fragile, idk about the roller clear body
Roller clear is the PC body. Its the legit one. Lol not the brittle pvc body.
