- This is a talk regarding different motor and ESC options. To be honest, avoid GooRC/Surpass ESCs. The motors are fine, but might as well and spend a bit more on something else.

The Copperhead esc is one I like. The Mamaba Monster X is one I burn out and just replaced with Tekin RX8 and never looked back. .
Would you recommend castle 1412 or 1415 for a losi db pro?
I would go with the 1415. The extra length magnet makes a big torque difference.
For 100 I would get the hobby wing quicrun 120a bundle and save $20

this motor is good for the hpi vorza 1/8 scale? is better dan 2200kv castle motor? pls helpme
This motor will work but gear low due to the high kv. I would go with the Tekin T8 which is a larger diameter motor about 2200kv.

That is a good one. Not sure why that one slipped my mind. It has a good footprint that is not too big compared to a Mamba Monster X.
I have the hobby wing ezrun 3300kv and it’s a great system.have one in a smt10.runs awesome.i bought a second system.
Best part is that they are a little less money than a VXL. I really like their 3660 motors.

@@GhostRider-ii7tz Thank you. I built a Slash with the ProLine Trutrac kit. It was the EzRun SCT with a 3660 3200kv. Probably the best choice for the price. Just had to extend the temp wires a bit. Enjoy your rig.🤝
