Wanted to make a comment about the video, alot of people have been pretty amazed at my progress within a month, within this month I just wanted to focus on learning the program so almost all the projects here were made following tutorials. I honestly think within a month anyone can achieve this, probably better even. Thanks for watching.
how did you model and texture Po and the tiger and rig them in 1 week, let alone model the environment and texture it it seems like a massive step up from the Ian Hubert texturing and modelling you done? just curious as i would love to know what tutorials were used for them or did you just grab the models from somewhere?
@@alexsweatman3565 yeh the po and tigress models were just free assets i found, same with the cars, some buildings and spiderman. In the month I focused on learning the program, otherwise i would have just stuck to modeling in that month and not seen results as quickly.
You should do a big project now utilizing what you've learned, make it something from scratch not from a tutorial. Then do that same thing again in 5 more months.
I literally did all those same tutorials in 3 days, right before I started working at Pixar studios. Had absolutely no previous experience, why are you so slow? /s
I have just started using blender today but after watching your progress this gives me encouragement and of course there with be ups an downs this motivates me good job with your quick progress
honestly as long as you're working on it everyday and not taking breaks every time you do a task this is very possible. but if you aren't consistent you may not even reach this level in three months.
@@yousof8546 I'm really enjoying it but I'm not working on it every day, have other classes in which I have learn other softwares aswell. But you are right I'll try not to skip on it..
@@msb8111 yeah most people are in the same boat as you which is why u rarely see this much progress in a month. But still regardless if youre consistent then you’ll make it. Good luck
Start with the Donut series, You might struggle some times, but it's ok. The strength of that tutorial is that it gives you a taste of many things blender has to offer; you may struggle (I had many issues with mine; I basically did the icing part three times to get it right), but the more you do it, the more you learn; just don't give up. Watch "CrossMind Studio Blender Day 1- Absolute Basics" next.. Some of the things he explains in that video you may have already picked up from the donut video (and new things as well) but just in case it helps to solidify the things you learned. Finish them and watch the chair tutorial from BLENDER GURU next. After all of this, you should be somewhat comfortable with the blender. Then you should concentrate on one thing at a time, for example, I'm more focused on the modelling part, which is my favourite part, and watching tutorials, practising them, and learning before slowly but steadily moving on to the other department (don't ignore the other features entirely, that's not the point I'm making here). THIS IS THE TRACK THAT HAS WORKED FOR ME...AND I AM A COMPLETE BEGINNER IN BLENDER OR ANY 3D SOFTWARE. My workflow was previously strictly Photoshop and Illustrator. Try not to take any breaks from learning, Join the blender discord ask there if you have any doubts, The blender community is awesome. These are the things that helped me a lot, and I'm picking up new stuff real quick now, and I hope you can too. Good luck brother.
Those y’all hating should remember there are now tutorials on RUclips. And something Alex Hormozi says if it takes someone less time to get ahead of you at that said time it means progress
Hey here is the 330th Subscirber of your channel. I am planning to start my 3D journey this year as well. You guys are doing so great inspiring all other people like me. Cheers !
Why is it not believable, most of these references are from youtube tutorials, he is learning and you should appreciate instead of assuming he's made most of these from scratch from minimal experience.
@@drperovski4842 yeah, they said they used tutorials to learn different aspects of blender in their first month so that they knew how to use the programme properly when trying their own ideas

Ayo what tutorials have you been watching ive be trying to casually learn blender for like 5 months now and I'm still copy and pasting blocks together hoping it looks fine and trying to figure out why my image textures are stretching or are in like 120p resolution?
If you could list the tutorials you used, I would very much appreciate it. I'm on day 3 of my blender training and would really love some sort of "couch to 1k plan" for learning. Danke.
Would love to see something original. Cool that you can make things out of tutorials, but now try to make a big project utilizing the things you learned throughout all these tutorials.
I'm not sure if I would call this progression, you just copy pasted everything while watching the tutorials, I've been there too, now if you try to do them again on your own without looking at the tutorials and post your results again, we'll see a huge difference and probably it would take you twice the time if not longer, good job though.
1 month in blender and you done all this. Sorry but I call Bullshit. Clearly your a decent artist and your work looks good but with in that time frame it would not be possible to learn all that in that time. 🤣😂
those can be found tutorials on RUclips with textures I've been using it for a week did like those , ig its how much you willing to put effort some projects can be boring
