My favorite artist! His voice is unmatched. I have never heard anyone even come close. Usually u will hear someone sound similar to an artist, but Gary Stewart’s voice remains unmatched in my opinion!!

What a treat this footage is. There is so little footage of Gary floating around on the internet so this is such a welcome addition. One of the finest country singers ever, and seeing him perform in this setting is really stunning.

Is anyone still around connected to the production? I'd very much like to talk to them.

Wow, thanks so much for this! Love Gary, he has a special place in my heart. I saw him many, many times, mostly at Billy Bobs. Even got a back stage pass one time, got a pic with him and he signed the pass. I was so “star struck” I couldn’t hardly speak to him! lol I was in my early 20s.

I honestly didn’t know he had such a heavy drawl when speaking. He didn’t have much at all when singing. Opposite of most country singers today lol

That guitar is perfectly out of tune. It could double as a bass drum.
