Me too.!! I had a young kid working for me backwhen Garth Brooks was all that. One night I stuck the Gary Stewart cd in the player and he went crazy!! I made him a big fan!!
I’m 39 and I grew up listening to this man, I think I was even singing Gary coming into this world. Haha. Gosh I miss his music. And I know my daddy does?
The interviewer and the crowd are atrociously jarring. An artist like Gary Stewart, who's amongst the G.O.A.T.'s of Country music earned his place to get some respect. It's very unfortunate that he's no longer here. R.I.P. to the legendary icon Gary Stewart.
It's GREAT to hear Gary in front of that Nashville Now band. They were awesome. That's the only reason I ever watched the show. Ralph Emory was the worst host in the history of television.
Seriously, "what is a jukebox?"... "Number one single....I'm acting single...she's uh..." It's the same with all of his guests, waylon, tompall, mickey newbury etc... some of the greatest artists in that scene. You always got the sense that Ralph did not recognize/appreciate/respect the creative talent he was in front of.
If I'm not mistaken, both of these legends[Gary Stewart and Faron Young] committed suicide..eerie, sad yet a reminder of how even the best come to an end. 2 OF THE VERY BEST , GOD BLESS EM
Ralph Amery,Asking a lot of dumb questions,Like he does not know what a juke-box is, I wonder if he ever found out? By now, Ralph Amery is probably in a group home.
Drugstore Truck Drivin' Man expressed Gram Parson's disgust for Ralph Emory. Emory was married to Skeeter Davis and used to beat her up. He's a coward and a piece of sh^t!
Two music legends who died the same way.
Love his music makes this 60yr old wanna dance
Miss Gary Stewart so Much. Wish they would make a documentary
Man, Gary could lay it down!!!! Gary was too bright for this world!!!!.I Sure Miss Him!

I never understood Ralph Emery and how he attained the "status" he did. The guy was clueless and hopelessly out of touch.
Gray Stewart was the best.
The best old boy to ever make it from these hills of letcher county ky
Gary...Great Heart and Amazing Talent!!!!!! Emery...so full of himselt....and constantly trying to bring these stars down...geez.

writing and playing in juke joints, what a life. looking back now maybe Gary had ADD & AHDD?
The host was horrible with the questions. Rip Mr. Stewart.
Great Gary interview, & performance. Not great at all for Ralph Emery.
Yes. Gary's amazing talent! Emery is like fingernails across a chalkboard!
Why do all the really talented intertainers die young?
Gary sounds alot like Jerry lee
I'm thinking. they were related. I read this somewhere. and they. act alot alike
Both Gary Stewart and Faron Young committed suicide by shooting themselves. Very sad.
I miss both of them very much!

Too bad Ralph Emory was a wooden stick figure.
Yeah after he shaved that beard off in the eighties he was creepy and old looking.
