Steve from Kansas City: I drove to Charleston for an Easter church service there. Passing through Greenville was the frosting on the cake. Beautiful city. Just stellar. And proximity to Asheville and Knoxville was a bonus. And I loved your weather there!
I'm currently living in California. Greenville was on my list of areas to check out out east. I'm in Greenville right now. In my opinion, Greenville is really for the younger set with its many brand new condominiums and outdoor friendly activities, mainly, beautiful hiking trails. Nothing wrong with that, and kudos to the city planners, but, in my opinion, it really isn't a place to retire to.
Hi Mike! We can certainly help you and wife with that! Give us a call at 864-616-1932 or send me an email at mark@ruckerandassociates.com and we can chat about those communities! Thanks for the comment!
Have you done or are considering doing a retirement video that doesn't assume the person is 65+ years old? If the benefits of retiring to the start require actually retiring requiring that takes away from the overall appeal. Especially when you talk so much about 55+ communities.
Hi Todd! I appreciate the comment. And this is perfect timing! We are uploading another video today titled "Best Retirement Communities in Greenville, SC". I highlighted several neighborhoods that are not 55+ restricted. Let me know what you think! Thanks again.
There are certainly some areas that are better than others but overall the Downtown area is gorgeous and has many areas for biking! The City of Greenville is also currently working on plans to expand other areas in the city to be more pedestrian and bike friendly! Hope that helps!
