He really is a nice guy. My wife and I were at the Renaissance Fair Southern Cal. one year, must have been late 70s(?), when Henry was spotted walking along with his family or friends. Someone screamed, "It's The Fonz!" People swarmed around him, but he didn't seem a bit bothered by it. As he continued on his way he threw a big smile and a wave to the crowd.
@@WilliamHunterII If you watch him on Better Late Than Never, no matter where he goes, he is always friendly with everyone and has time for them. When on the RV, he was talking to Shatner, who was more reluctant to talk to people, Henry said that he might never get a chance to see those people again, and he wanted to make sure that they had something positive to remember about meeting someone from their past, and he was glad that they still appreciated him. It is great to see someone who appreciates the people who helped him get there.
Taylor Marie : I love it that ABC invents pottery, rather than catching him doing some unfun thing, like, I don’t know-water skiing …? Triple word score what the fuuuuuuk ? 🧐
I was born in 1989 and even for me the Fonz (Fonzie, as it was dubbed in Italian) has been an institution while growing up. The Happy Days reruns were on TV every day, I remember it being a really simple, enjoyable and funny show
Born in 85 and I can fully relate to your comment. I dressed up as Fonzi in middle school for some reason. I think we had a 50s day, where everyone dressed up. I just remember rocking a brown leather jacket and saying ayyye a lot, with my thumbs up 👍
Whenever he smiles I smile. He can't help but make you want to be his friend. He has such charm and warmth, his heart is so full and open with love. Every time I see him in a movie (like Hallmark), or any of them he's always so lovable. Love ya Fonz. And my grown sons loved watching you too as they were growing up. Your as American as apple pie.
I was watching this video kind of idly, on a kick of "Barry" cast interviews. I just inhaled both seasons, and since there isn't a third one yet (as of this writing), I just wanted to spend more time with these people. So anyway, I'm outside, kind of watching this, kind of watching the birds. Then the illustrious, the magnificent, the angelic Henry Winkler starts talking about the kid on the ledge. I was mesmerized. And I noticed the slightest push from the camera, as well. Maybe Jimmy knew that was coming, from a pre-interview or whatnot, but it was clear that the audience didn't. You could feel--from 3,000 miles away, from two years in the future, straight through the towers and the cables and the routers that bring me the internet--you could feel the molecules of the air in that studio change. What an incredible man is Henry Winkler.
Barry is such a smart show.. so wel written.. and as dark as it can get.. watching two of the nicest men in Hollywood in the lead, Henry and Bill are a triumph.
Henry is way cooler than the Fonz ever was. Met him in 76 when I was eight years old, still have the photo, he acted as the Fonz of course, but Mr Winkler shone through. Love you man.
When I was a toddler Mr. Winkler did a commercial for Deborah heart and lung center in New Jersey and it put me at ease to go. I had a hole in the middle of my heart and had to go until I was 16 and his commercial made me ok with going. He’s a great actor, but an even greater human being!
Wow! He was my TV crush as a kid and he is still such a treasure to TV and more. Those legs were awesome!!! The Fonz should've wore shorts more often! And of course they had to be blue jean shorts... 😆
Henry winkler what a down to earth kind of guy I’d love to hang out with this guy everyone in Hollywood should take a page of his book he’s one in a billion.
My family moved for the first time in 1996, when I was 3. The first thing I did in the new apartment was run to the phone to call Fonzie to let him know where I was. My grandmother still tells that story every chance she gets.
I clicked for the title and he started talking when they finally got to the story I was like damn Henry saved a life? Thats how you know your entertaining.
I remember when I found out Henry Wrinkler wasn’t the Fonz in real life 😩 i was devastated. But now as an adult I can appreciate his acting ability 🙌🏽🙌🏽 he’s amazing. We all loved Fonzie!
I own 1-6 episodes of Happy Days but would like to own the remaining seasons. Why have they not come out on DVD yet??? That is definitely owning a piece of history!

I just listened to an interview he did with Terri Gross. You can really tell he’s a sweet, honest wonderful guy.

I was born in 1989 and even for me the Fonz (Fonzie, as it was dubbed in Italian) has been an institution while growing up. The Happy Days reruns were on TV every day, I remember it being a really simple, enjoyable and funny show
It’s Fonzie in English too. The Fonz was just a short nickname
Born in 85 and I can fully relate to your comment. I dressed up as Fonzi in middle school for some reason. I think we had a 50s day, where everyone dressed up. I just remember rocking a brown leather jacket and saying ayyye a lot, with my thumbs up 👍
Henry Winkler has to be one of the sweetest nicest guys in the entertainment industry. I could listen to him talk for hours
He is genuinely a nice person who is grateful for his success. Such an icon!
I’m so happy he did a quick Fonz voice “Alright I made it”
Henry Winkler is so charismatic, thoughtful, & kind-hearted. He’s everything good in this world :’)

I love Henry Winkler. I am drunk and I love him even more. What a human being.
Just met He rubWinkler at Denver Comic con. Such a true gentleman.

Wonderful human. He is a treasure
Henry's much cooler than I remember the Fonz evr being!
Very healthy looking for 73. Also literally thought he was older probably because happy days was a show in the 70s that took place in the 50s
I was thinking that too lol
I was like if he was 20 in the 50s hes like 90
Thinking about Richie being the same age is also mind-blowing!
Time is fluid.
@@badandylaoc Richie is nine years younger.
his sad dad on ' adam sandlers ' , "click" movie was the saddest but always makes me remember ....
I'm one foot in the grave and I will unflinchingly tell you that I love that man.

"Can I take this home?!" Joking or not, the delighted surprise in his voice when he asked that about his prize...!...he's a golden person.
Henry is such class act. 😊
Henry, the Fonz is an American institution, you are a legend even if you had never worked again!. 😁❤
Henry Winkler voted for Trump!
He must be a racist now, Huh?

He's a very staunch supporter of Jews and Jewish rights, I've never seen him do a video when he didn't mention his Jewish heritage

Always Love when Kimmel has icons on his show. He does it best.
Part of my childhood and adulthood. Henry pretty amazing and very accomplished.
HENRY WE LOVE YOU!! you are THE ONE!!!
Now that Veep is gone, Barry is the best comedy on television. Brilliant.
What about Bojack? Barry is still great, but I just think Bojack Horseman is better.
When I was a toddler Mr. Winkler did a commercial for Deborah heart and lung center in New Jersey and it put me at ease to go. I had a hole in the middle of my heart and had to go until I was 16 and his commercial made me ok with going. He’s a great actor, but an even greater human being!
Is Henry Winkler the nicest guy alive, or what?
we will never be talked a guy down from the ledge asking for a vinyl collection cool.
A great person, a great comedian. The Fonz is legendary.
Wow! He was my TV crush as a kid and he is still such a treasure to TV and more. Those legs were awesome!!! The Fonz should've wore shorts more often! And of course they had to be blue jean shorts... 😆

He's very good.
Jimmy is downright giddy. I don't think I've ever seen him this giddy
I adore this man. he's cute and humble and I want him for my grandpa.
My family moved for the first time in 1996, when I was 3. The first thing I did in the new apartment was run to the phone to call Fonzie to let him know where I was. My grandmother still tells that story every chance she gets.
