First off all, thank you for making this tool - it does a great job and rivaled by not so much out there. One thing I would suggest is taking a look at (which I assume you have) the maxroll character planner tool. This is very simple to use from a UI perspective and if you had that tool w/ the ability to export that to a character file, that would be sublime I would think. Great work though, still does the job, most of the time.
Hey, this tool is cool and all but I'm having a problem. When I try to create a new character or edit an existing one the new file isn't detected. I'm probably wrong but as far as I can see a .key file isn't created, does that have something to do with it?

Hopefully you see this, but when I put the editor file into the saved games folder, I dont see the classes ingame. But I also dont see my already saved chars. any trouble shooting?
Not sure James. You will get 2 files, not that you need to use both, but be sure to use both from the site. Also, this may sound obvious but be sure that the place you're putting the files is actually the same place that the game is loading from. I sincerely hope this helps!!

With my sorc it worked fine, but i want a new char amazon, and no matter what i do is appears as lvl 1.
Actually with the lvl1 amazon I joined a game, I left and it was 75lvl!
When i click "Save to File" after creating it only download the d2s. Doesnt Downlod the key?

As mentioned in some older comments. Unfortunately when I click save, it doesn't generate the .key file
