The movie she did "Cocktail" changed the trajectory of her career. She was giving flops after flops but that particular year she delivered 4 super hits includes Chennai express, Yeh Jawani hai deewani, Ramleela and Race 2.

Veronica CARRIED this movie, without her character the movie is flat, cringey and boring. And this movie is a slap in the face for everyone who constantly tries to argue that Deepika can't act.
I don’t know if you guys know this but "MEERA" Role was offered to Deepika First. Because she was good in these type of role (sweet, innocent). But she choose Veronica bcs she felt the connection with Veronica more. And She took the risk of portraying a wild, vibrant girl (who don’t get the guys at the end) and IT PAID OFF. Her performance was critically acclaimed 👏
This is THE best duo of reactors.. After THE best trio Synthell.. Achara.. And Steph.. They contribute so much in the commentary.. While not missing out on the movie..

Gautam and veronica shared a casual relationship. So if Gautam fell in live with Meera, veronica has no right to blame him for her heartbreak
Now that I watch the film, I agree with that. But I guess she was more heartbroken with the fact that he fell for her best friend. And she also fell for her best friend’s guy.
Feeling are evolving. Yes, at first they had a casual relationship but after a while she started to feel more for him. And by the time she knew about Meera and Gautam it was too late for her, she already was in love. Therefore the heartbreak.
Nonsense. Humans are not robots. Whatever the type of relationship u never ever mess with your friends boyfriend. Aisi behenji ladkiyan hi ye sab karti hai in reality too. Meera jesi yeda banke peda khaane waali ladkiyan know how to act innocent. Kiss your friend boyfriend and then act like dil pe kiska zor chalta hai. And that too for a guy who's not even her type. A behenji type character would never really fall in love with a cha pri ca sa no va!? She gets attracted to Gautam only coz uske friend ka BF hai
