I search for “Zentangle pattern + tangle” (the pattern name) to see what’s on the internet. I also look on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag for the pattern. My favorite way is to search the Mosaic app from Zentangle.
I decided to add watercolors to this tangle pattern in an effort to try to make it more lively looking. I used a dark blue/gray for the woorways; blues (with a touch of green for the skies) and sort of muted pastel colors for the buildings. I left the domes white. My drawings of the buildings are kind of "wonky." But, I think it adds character to this small 2" x 2" tile. A person never knows what one is going to get with watercolors. But, sometimes, the surprises are just plain gifts. I enjoy look at this one now that I have added the colors.
