- Today I show you the pattern Tripoli with the pattern Well inside of it. Tripoli is a fun pattern with a lot of possibilities, but with this tile I keep it simple. The drama and shading really make a difference and I hope that you enjoy it. If you take your time and practice with this pattern, you’ll find it’s fun and easy.

I love this, I shared it on pinterest. When I look at it I wasn't sure how it was made. At first I thought it sort of like crazy huggins.

Your first page really hit me. I always get upset when I do a new project tile because I want perfection!
I've been doing Zentangle for 4 years, and I've been a CZT for almost 3 years and I still struggle with being a perfectionist. But I'm getting better! :)
Ooops! Got interupted and started over watching! I like to watch and then practice. And I am no fast forward person..😊...I like the end result and thank you! I always learn something new. The paper on the edge will be very helpful. Love it!! 💕

Thank you. This was very relaxing. Don’t worry about taking long to do those repetitive steps. You finished drawing your triangles and I still had half the tile to fill. LOL I spent more time pausing and no time fast forwarding. I love learning from you.
Glad you enjoyed it! I think that I like RUclips videos for the same reason. I can speed them up, or pause them when needed. :)

The huggins tangle also appears in your tangle, which I find very pretty 🙂
You're right - it gives the illusion of having Huggins also, but it's just Tripoli with Well inside. When I posted the first tile in 2020, someone said the same thing. I really like how this tile turned out. Thanks for watching! 🙂

I’m a beginner looking to learn where would you suggest I look on u-tube and maybe a book? I like how you put the paper on the edge. Would it help to use a lazy susan? I’m elderly also going to be getting my second shot hoping no side affects.

I know some people use a lazy susan, but I prefer to just have a smooth surface under my tile so that I can turn it easily as I draw. I hope you do well with the vaccine. I didn't have any issues with mine.
