    Junghoo just needs to build that muscle. His power numbers will dip like most other Asian position players. He should be solid in the OF and have good plate discipline. Give him a little time to adjust.

    If going for upside value with a solid floor, Imanaga and Bauer as a pair greatly improves any rotation for 3-4 and 1 year of guarantee without losing talent or picks. Teammates last year for the BayStars.

    I''m Korean and been a baseball fan all my life, and I can assure you Lee will be a success in the Major like no other Korean. The guy has a very special talent that I've never seen before and is a one of a kind player!

    Jung Hoo Lee is the only KBO player that might actually have a chance to succeed in mlb right now
    They got shitty strikezones compared to NPB and MLB but his defense and contact is tallet

    I'm Korean-American but KBO is not as good as NPL. Erick Fedde who was a very ordinary pitcher with one of my local teams Nats for 6 years but has become the best pitcher in KBO this season. Maybe he'll be the next Merrill Kelly, who knows but that's KBO in a nutshell. Korean baseball in general is still stuck in the pre-analytics era. The biggest difference between Korean baseball and Japanese baseball is the pitching velocity. There aren't really any pitchers who go near 100 mph in Korean baseball.

    • @JEHa-nb7nd
      @JEHa-nb7nd 11 месяцев назад

      I know there is a difference in velocity between Korean and Japanese baseball. However, Jung-hoo Lee is a player with multiple hits to Yamamoto and Darvish in the WBC and Olympics.

    • @yongwoonhuh2189
      @yongwoonhuh2189 11 месяцев назад

      yeah true but a hitter who's batting .340 in KBO which is considered double/Triple A level definitely needs to play in higher league like MLB

    • @CamKrazy2000
      @CamKrazy2000 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@yongwoonhuh2189 I hope he does well over here but I have my doubts. Eric Thames was the most dominant player in the history of KBO for a few years but he was just an average/good player here.

    • @yongwoonhuh2189
      @yongwoonhuh2189 11 месяцев назад

      @@CamKrazy2000 haha I totally thought of him too! I think the fact that Lee never had "adjustment season" in KBO and became a top player since the age of 18 is a good sign. But the beauty of baseball is that no one can really predict what will really happen!

      @Grizzmonster73 11 месяцев назад +1

      Agreed when calling someone a kid you are saying they're not an adult yet. It's as disrespectful as calling someone "boy". That dude needs to be replaced period, it isn't the first time he's used inappropriate language talking about players

    • @eddya.3776
      @eddya.3776 11 месяцев назад +2

      Toughen up that's baseball talk. 24 is a kid in MLB everyone knows that. The only thing disrespectful here is your lack of baseball knowledge and it's lingo and turning that into some woke white knight attack on an MLB network analyst. I don't recall hearing anyone call Yoshida a kid.
