Under normal circumstances yes but you have to understand Vladimir Guerrero Jr is just a one-year rental at this point so look at a Soto trade from last season that's what you can expect
This is MLB promoting their click bait to maintain a trickle of revenue in the offseason. Have a mlb write write a list of hypothetical trades, and fill time when no one is watching baseball. Attention is the currency
No way, not going to happen, Blue Jays are not going to trade Guerrero Jr. There will be a Blue Jays fan revolt like you have never seen, no one will go to the games. The front office are on the hot seat, they will be gone if this happens.
@@Yankeesfan-zb8dzyeah I think the chances of Vlad signing before free agency are slim but they can't trade him at the same time otherwise Atkins needs to go. I mean he already should have been fired but fans will be coming with pitch forks
Awful for Toronto. If you're rebuilding wry take on Bellinger? He was awful last year he's regressed after a great rookie season and a great 3rd year. I doubt that's enough for Guerrero alone let alone adding Guasman who had a good year
Castrovince mustve been drunk when he came up with these. Especially with that Phillies, Cardinals and Mariners trade. No way the Mariners say yes to that BS.
That was terrible, especially for the Cards, but the M's get shafted too. Stl isn't getting much for their star closer. The Mariners though give up a good #5 and a power hitting prospect that is getting comps to Yordan for a few years of Bohm? That's insane. Switch Montes out for Celesten and add Thornton and Saucedo to even out the money because it looks like that matters a lot. Add Fernandez going to the Mariners, and it makes better sense. I still feel like Philly needs to send the Cards another top 10 prospect.
Trading Vlad and Gausman would basically guarantee a last-place finish. This is fine - if the Jays decide they can't win (and they can't) then blowing it up makes some sense. But then if you are blowing it up why in the world would you want Bellinger? Vladdy has to get back more than what they got back for Kikuchi - they would want 2 top 50 prospects and probably 2 high-quality prospects on top. And that's just for Vladdy - Gausman is a top-of-the-rotation starter - a soft ace number 2. He's better than Kikuchi so you would expect a solid three-player haul for him. 7 prospects of the upper-end variety for both. I think the Jays should do this - but with a GM trying to save his job - he'll probably blow money on 2nd tier-free agents that MIGHT help them win a WC spot. If they make the WC that is probably enough to secure another contract for Shapiro/Atkins for more years of mediocrity. The Jays have bags of cash - their ownership is one of the three richest in baseball. But unless they decide to up payroll to $380m I don't see them being able to add enough players to fill their needs - they need an ace, a closer, a set-up man, a high-leverage BP arm on top, a catcher for 80 games, 2 big power bats (preferably in the 35 to 45 homer range). And they need Manoah to come back and be quality and Bo Bichette of 2023. How much is all that going to cost?
Again, undervaluing #27... it would have to be a bigger package for Vlad. It would be cheaper to get Alonso Pete and sign him for 5-6yrs. Vlad will be explore the free agency market in 2026 and he'll be either be a Red Sox or Yankees.
My thought is go after Sasaki(6-man rotation in Seattle)...they trade for Bohm, they also trade for Helsey... depends on the prospects, but, yes..Hancock is on that trade list
to be perfectly honest with you, I think Guerrero winds up in San Diego...I think SD has been laying low, where your bigger FA deals are regarded. And when you think about the long term contracts they already have in SD, you might not think they'd be a plausible team for Vlad Jr. But if they dont bring back Profar and they are able to move Cronenworth's money (most of it), they could have some wiggle room to spend.
One of the dumbest segments ever. Just throw whatever names in a blender without any of them remotely plausible. Just pick any person and they could do the same than this 🤡
Anthony must be high making that Jays and Cubs trade proposal. 😂
This guy smoking blunts with his family at the dinner table LMFAO
No kidding. Lol
Mervis too, at least
Agreed. I think it’s a huge undersell! 😊 For the Jays😜
Cuz I got High, Cuz I got High, Cuz I got Highhhh da da doot doot
Vladdy jr the biggest failure in sports history !
Vlad Jr is a top 10 offensive player in baseball. The package would be much bigger
Under normal circumstances yes but you have to understand Vladimir Guerrero Jr is just a one-year rental at this point so look at a Soto trade from last season that's what you can expect
Trade him they must… but his proposal was way too low! You are getting 3 solid prospects at least!
Not a chance for a rental.
LoL. Toronto not doing this trade. Everyone thinks Jays should blow it up for peanuts.
Yeah he’s gonna cost more, assuming eating gausman contract is the key tho
No one is sane enough to touch the Bellinger contract after his shaky performance.
He’s turned into a singles hitter too
They're just trying to normalize bad moves.
How do some of these guys get to talk baseball on TV amazes me

I don't know i see Vlad Jr having a monster season next year and test free agency before he would sign an extension with the jays
@@Yankeesfan-zb8dzyeah I think the chances of Vlad signing before free agency are slim but they can't trade him at the same time otherwise Atkins needs to go. I mean he already should have been fired but fans will be coming with pitch forks
That trade proposal for Vladdy and K.G. is outrageous. Sadly, it's a trade that Shapiro and Atkins just might make...😭🤣😂🤣😂

That package for Vladdy is ridiculous did he smoke a joint before coming up with this Vladdy trade 😂
If the Phillies were smart, theyd include Bohm and prospects to Milwaukee in a trade for Williams.
Jays arent taking 2 players older than Vladdy for Vladdy.

@jeffnak5598 if much rather replace Montes with Ford. Especially if they can extend Cal
@DJ-mf6ft Nah. What happens if Cal gets injured? We don't have much catching depth. We have a lot of shortstop depth and prospects.

Redsox should trade for vladdy if they don’t get Soto
Bellinger has turned into a singles hitter I wouldn’t touch him with anything
I think Triston Casas is on the move, but still
There's a slim to zero percent chance the Cubs give up Cade Horton.
@chadink don't worry there's no chance the Jays would accept that weak offer

Ojalá y guerrero llegará a san diego!!! Sería genial pero lo veo improbable
LMAO! The Padres have no money and no prospects.
@@AnimeBronx o sea que estamos destinados a seguir siendo el hermanito muy menor de dodgers!!!! Entonces no esperare con entusiasmo la temporada 2025.

How high are you guys

trash
This is laughable from the Mariners perspective.
This Anthony guy is a clown. 🤡
The cubs are apparently not spending money so no idea why they would want a rental
